- Hey there! Well, I did it ya'll! I wanted so badly to be able to go skating for my birthday and just have fun. And I made it! I wanted to be further along in my progress, but I'm still proud of myself for getting this far.

Congrats on your progress! I just put on my skates yesterday, and I was terrified. Hoping to work up more courage today to actually try to move. It can be a bit discouraging to see those who learn in a week, but we all learn at our own pace. It’s nice to hear about your progress, and I think it’s realistic for those of us who haven’t done this before.

Congratulations Young Lady. I commend you for facing the fears! This is on my retirement list😂I’m 63 and I’ve skated since I was 12. After all of my sicknesses I tried!😂 My knees locked and I couldn’t get my groove on. Don’t worry I’ll go back again! Again an A+ for effort. You go Girlee😅😅😅😊❤❤❤. Very NICE and GoodJob! I’m 57 and wanting to try to skate again. I us to skate as a teen all the time, and in my mind I still think I could do it, but the small voice in my head says, “what if you fall?” You inspire me! Can you share what skates you have now that you are liking? And what are you wearing under your helmet, it looks very cushiony. Great video and well done!!

I've just decided at 59yrs old to learn how to roller skate. I fell really hard and busted my lip at my 1st lesson and now I'm nervous but really want to learn. Any tips for nervousness and btw happy birthday 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
