    • @KlulessKitsune
      @KlulessKitsune 7 днів тому

      Thank you! There isn’t much difference in the formatting, at least. Most differences would be stylistic in nature because of the two different genres. Granted, I am not in the animation industry and I don’t know anyone personally who is, so there may be differences I simply don’t know about. I’m just assuming that the general concept of the screenplay existing to serve a bigger medium than itself will still make it more utilitarian over something like a novel.

    I really enjoyed the video, but found the visuals lacking, it could be more engaging if you added more clips about the words you’re speaking, the vtuber format doesn’t work with still 3d renders, still, I found the content interesting and will strive to apply it to my own works, so thanks for sharing. Btw, your voice is very soothing, kudos to that 👍

    I've written fanfiction in the past and I found it best to focus the story on an OC inside this story setting and have the canon characters as side characters. So on, I've always struggled with depicting characters that are not of my own creation accurately. Yes, I've had ppl compliment me on how I write canon characters, that gives me hope I guess. I've read fanfic that is better than the canon material, that's the best thing about fanfiction to be honest.

    I just got my T480 quite cheap for broken wifi slot. I bought it because of my Legion 5 is such a pain in the a$$ to carry with. There's certain app that I can't run on Linux, so I do Hackintosh instead.

      A Hackintosh ThinkPad is definitely interesting. I've been tempted to try it, but I have very little familiarity with macOS, so I don't think I personally have need for it.

    • @KadalCj
      @KadalCj 2 місяці тому

      @@KlulessKitsune It was, and macOS my only option. I mainly use it to code, and my experience with Windows was not great. I've tried Hackintosh like 6 year ago with my previous MSI laptop. It quite time consuming to do config, like Arch (If I do WM). Nice video btw, subs.

    • @KlulessKitsune
      @KlulessKitsune 2 місяці тому

      Thank you! I would think it’s probably more difficult than Arch, as Hackintosh is a modification of an otherwise very locked down system whereas Arch has always been an OS installed after purchasing the PC. Idk for sure, I’ve never done Hackintosh, but that would be my initial guess. I think Arch’s reputation as being really difficult is an artifact of the past. I know it used to be really hard, but today, the only issue a user is likely to run into is something of their own fault. (Like how I once accidentally deleted my mirrorlist, and in trying to copy from the backup mirrorlist, accidentally wiped that too lol)

      @@KlulessKitsune is their a better method for the layout of created character's, I'm finding it hard to keep track, I know your last videos on it, was just a check list, but is that all I should be using

    • @KlulessKitsune
      @KlulessKitsune 2 місяці тому

      The creation process itself is relatively loose. Basically, as long as the necessary parts of the character are there, it should be fine. The “character check” I made is mostly for retroactively making sure those particular parts are there, because without them, the story probably won’t function. I can’t really say there is a definitive layout to writing every single feature of a character. I’ve seen some thorough character sheets, but I always hesitate to recommend them because they tend to make character development a box ticking exercise, which can have its own set of issues further along the writing process. I think the main thing to remember is that a reader of a story does not have the sheets for the character next to them for reference. You pick the traits you need the character to have, but it’s more about writing scenes that display those traits once you know what they should be. In other words, the story itself lays out the character, and any notes are for your own organization and memory.

    I've always wanted to write romance but I've never been able to commit to writing it as the a-plot due to reader expectations. Not a knock on romance writers there are just too many rules for a rule breaker like me.

    • @KlulessKitsune

      That’s a good point. I probably should have mentioned love triangles, but I wanted to hold off and cover those when I talk about using B plots because love triangles play nicely with them. The hardest part of talking about writing is deciding which subtopics go with which general topics.

      I probably wouldn’t do a video running through the check simply because I intended it to be a tool to check a character after they’ve already been planned, so I’m not actually sure how to make a video like that without it just being making a lot of characters and going through them. As far as your character, you seem to be pretty close. I’d have to know more about the story. I am still planning on reading and assisting you with it, but I’ve been on the road every week (and I’m STILL on the road) so I have been to swamped to take on any projects other than my own for the time being.
