This is a great channel. I'm a writer and though I understand subtext, this was just a reminder of it's importance. Thanks to you and Michael for the clear and concise explaination.
Thank you for this video! I always thought the subtext was more intriguing, but struggled to write it because I didn't want to "leave readers behind" or make my story incomprehensible. Your advice has made me much more confident in writing between the lines. Some feedback: The voice call was slightly lengthy and I kind of lost track of what it was about at some point. Maybe if there'd been some "notes" on the screen or if your fox character had broken up the call a little by doing a mini-recap of what was just said, it would've been a bit more structured. Overall great though! I am incredibly excited for the time travel video, that's something I'm building a world around currently. Just in case you aren't addressing it already, some tips for how to hide potential paradoxes or how to make the system more believable to the readers would be amazing. Thank you again!
Keep doing the good work! Finally I understand how to subtext. Your series is really helpful, even if I'm just making a little story for a little world.

Thanks for having me on again! Sorry again for the rambling at some points everyone 😬
It’s alright! I should have been better about editing.
Awesome vid man. subtext is something I kinda struggle with, it's great to have it broken down and made digestible.
I’m glad this helped! Subtext trips up just about everyone, but it gets easier with practice

Its generally also a great series to have in the background.
Thank you! I’m glad it was helpful!
