i got mine from dell technician itself but i have the same result as youi. first test after repaste max -95 avg-85 at 60 watts in cinebench r23,dell g15 ryzen 5 5600h no thermal throttling. but after that temps start to rise and it pumps out or whatever but after 2-3 months laptop is back to throttling at 100c

My loq i5 12450hx 3050 died today, wasn't expecting it in 12th gen. Purchased it on 10 August and died today on 7th September.

I buyed lenovo loq i5 13th gen rtx 3050 on 9th of Aug,2024 and the motherboard died on 29th Aug, 2024 while playing rdr 2 keeping the system in balanced mode and gpu in hybrid mode, contacted lenovo customer care and my work id is created for motherboard replacement..Will after replacement again this motherboard issue can arrise? Also when the motherboard died that time surrounding temp was around 24-27 deg Celcius...after replacement shall i do undervolting??

To those people whof faced this issue randomly is probably due to hotkey configurations that is set by default. Change those default hotkey config to not assigned and you'll likely not face this issue unless done manually.

My loq 2024 with 17 13650HX and rtx 4060 died 3 times after purchase. I don’t want a mobo replacement. I have filed grievance in consumer portal. I have also mailed escalation team in Lenovo and also made a post on X.

I purchased a LOQ on 08/05/2024. Just five days after the purchase, I discovered that one of the RAM slots was not working. I took the laptop to the service center, and after 18 days of repairs, I received it back on the 4th of June with a replaced motherboard and RAM. However, after using the laptop for a day, I found that the camera was not working. On 08/06/2024, I submitted the laptop for repairs again. Later, the service center suggested doing a DOA (Dead on Arrival), and the shop where I purchased the laptop gave me the option of replacing the laptop but not providing a refund. So basically you are saying that in laptops the thermal management influences the cpu scores / performance a lot ... So a laptop with better thermal management will give better performance..Thus the scores may vary hugely depending on the laptop brand you have even if the cpu is same ....

Hey what i have seen is that laptops which are dead of lenovo loq are 13th and 14th gen irrespective of being custom build or pre build.. And the failures of 12th gen once are of only 24 gb ram vale irrespective of those being pre build or custom build.. Did you find any 12th gen lenovo loq hx variant dead with 16gb ram ??
