3% of those laptops have died, I mean the Intel LOQ HX 2024, haven't heard any recent news of the same but that's the situation you are in. You have to make a decision based on that.
No i haven't heard or read any motherboard dead issue of ryzen varient only intel one have dead problem maybe intel pusses more power which smokes the motherboard
Keep using it as you normally would. If it starts having BSOD, be ready for a backup machine. And once it dies, get multiple motherboard replacement until you get a working motherboard or a refund. If Intel or Lenovo doesn't respond until then.
If you think buying an AMD CPU magically makes the motherboard better, then no. The issue is with the LOQ laptops not all Intel based laptops. I have an Acer it works just fine. It's an Intel i7 and does fine even with the high temperatures.

Those who can build a PC aren't looking to buy a laptop. For many, it's either a laptop or no system at all.

Prevent overheating
Nothing. Your laptop if fine. Just try to prevent overheating as it kills the motherboard chipsets/vrms.
Keep using it as you normally would. If it starts having BSOD, be ready for a backup machine. And once it dies, get multiple motherboard replacement until you get a working motherboard or a refund.
