Harbor Freight Warrior Table Saw Riving Knife Adjustment Options
In order to connect 2 wires to the receptacle you would run a pig tail with a wire nut essentially connecting 3 wires together to continue the circuit with the pig tail going to receptacle...its code actually....
20 amp outlets are generally in kitchens and bathrooms where higher voltage appliances are used it's not uncommon for them to be in homes
And it it's jan. 12th 2025 and i paid 6+ bucks for mine.
Just got two of these today. Thanks for the share. Hope you are feeling better sir 🫡
Good job, thanks for the video.
Thank you so much for making a video on how to do it I had no idea how to set it up I was getting so crazy I started pulling my hair out and then I went to the restroom and took a shet but there was no toilet paper so I took a shower but there was no hot water so I ran around the block came home and wrote I'm the best 100 times on a piece of paper thanks again for the video PS Happy New years!!!
Picked mine up yesterday...25 miles away...super easy and quick to put together...didn't have the cordless Bauer i went for but this is a good little multi purpose tool for carving canes...works great! I ordered bits off Amazon for the Bauer and they fit this! Thanks for the video!
Sold!
I have bought several of these and so far only one of the newest 500 lums. Both lanterns (old and new) have a hidden trick that most HF employees do not know about. When I show it to them they are surprised. The top piece will unscrew giving you a storage place that can hold 3 AA batteries. I tape all 3 batteries side by side and put them inside the very top. First problem, besides discovering this capability is the batteries would rattle inside. Problem solved .... I cut two circular pieces of thin Styrofoam. One was attached to the bottom of the open top around the visible screw end, the other was attached to the top of the removed top cover via two sided tape. No noise and no movement. There is still a little room to add a charging cable inside for the rechargeable batteries. You can control the emitted light by using a triple folded envelope placed around either metal handle. If the envelope is not folded, it can be used to cover 3/4 of the window. I am sure some of you can come up with additional tricks. PS I want to thank the HF customer service woman that suggested I make a comment on UA-cam reflecting my similar comment on my HF review, Thanks
I bought the 12v one for my wife.
How do you keep the wood stable on those? Do clamps work well?
I can’t playback videos that was recorded
it can be a little confusing, go to my playlists and there a group of videos on this system and there is a video on how the system work, along with how to setup the system, they cover how to do playback - thanks for subscribing!
Was watching a speaker build video where the fella was using a similar block to hand sand the veneer on his speaker box, the purpose being to have the sanding block wider than the speaker so as to avoid inadvertently ‘rounding’ over the edges and cutting through the veneer. Anyway, it seemed like a good idea and your expanding block to tension the belt is a perfect solution. Thank you.
Glad you liked the video, it is a very useful tool, I use it all the time, especially for sanding curves! thanks for subscribing!
HAVE YOU EVER FINISHED THIS PROJECT TO SELL TO ALL OF US THAT WOULD LOVE TO BUY FROM YOU???
This has been a great saw for me, so far
this is the best miter saw I've ever used, well worth the money and works great, not issues, very accurate - thanks for subscribing!
Two strokes aren’t really meant to be throttled… wide open is their proper speed.
you should use this auger and you will see why I don't always run it wide open, when it hits a rock, it has a violent counter spin that it best avoided, watch the video and you will see it - thanks for subscribing!
I would not go through that just run a couple of light bulbs and maybe charge my phone up it would probably take forever I guess it's okay if that's what you need
you should think of this as a small portable utility system, like you would use with an RV to have extra power without running a generator or the rv motor, with an inverter it will run very small appliances - if you are worried about how long it would take to charge your phone, you should buy a much more expensive gas generator so you want have to wait an extra few minutes to charge your phone - thanks for subscribing!
I always enjoy your stuff; not sure how I missed this one. Do you feel like using the lower speed would help keep from stripping out screw/bolt heads, like Phillips head for instance? That's provided my only real temptation to "upgrade" from my older Bauer 20V impact driver to the newer 3-speed. (Harder to keep my old driver from getting so fast that the heads strip out, especially if it's cheaper screws/bolts.) Have you found any other benefits? (And does the brushless motor seem to actually translate to longer run times, or any other plusses?) Thanks in advance!
sometimes a slower speed better, it will help some with the stripping, but not sure if it is worth the cost - if I'm having a problem with stripping screws, I use a square hole screw, much better results, although they are a little more expensive - thanks for subscribing!
This Harbor Freight Crown stapler seems almost identical to my blue hawk from Lowe's crown stapler.
a lot of tools are sold by many different distributors with different labels, most factories have a formen who goes to the big boss everyday and says 'what store label we putting on them today boss?', stores like HF and lowes do not want to pay for full product development, so they buy from a china factory that already produces what they want - thanks for subscribing!
Is it ok to use a 3tb drive?
almost any SATA drive will work, I've used 1.5T and 22T with no trouble - find a good deal on amazon and it should be ok - thanks for subscribing!
Just got 1 for Christmas and think it’s better than my older Dremel tool.
it fits my hand better, and does everything I need it to do, so I fits my needs - I don't require cordless, but it does make it more convenient - thanks for subscribing!
The downside is that its' fluorescent, so if the light goes out, that's it. Also I just saw it was being discontinued. My guess is they'll be bringing out an LED version to replace it.
it uses a replacement bulb that is easily available on amazon, LED would be better, but that alone would not be a reason to replace this light, thanks for subscribing !
Massive thank you for the video. I tried everything searched youtube for the fault with QVIS DVR nothing else worked! Thanks again!
Glad it helped - thanks for subscribing!
Honestly, you didn't have to check any of the wires if they had power. It's always a freaking break in the coil somewhere, I've gone through too many to count. 🛂-> 🛃
No reason to go back thru with the strap. It is no different than a tie down strap. Also the corners are designed to be put on the strap which keeps everything together as one piece. If the boards are thinner than the corners they should be in the middle of the corner. If the strap is to long then you can cut it.
Now inknow why i can't use the bit. You need the mortise drill to hild it! Thanks
HF used to sell 3 sized, but now only sells 1 size, but still useful, this is a great tool, it would be nice for HF to return to selling bigger tools like these - thanks for subscribing!
How do you delete clip of a video footage on the app ?
no, I have 2 videos on the app, one for using it with the 4K system and one for using it with the 1080p system, both are still available, easies way to find them is go to my playlists and find the playlist for the 8k or 1080p system, the app really works the same with both, the 8k system does have more info about getting the app to work with your local ISP router (ports that need opened) - you left this message on the video for using the app on the 8k system, if you are looking for another video, you need to watch the 1080p video for using the app - thanks for subcribing!
To much setup work. I just want to get a saw, make my few cuts and stick it in the corner til next time. If there is a next time
I would expect you would have to check the alignment of any saw you buy, if verifying the alignment is not important, much cheaper to buy a hand held circular saw, I can't image buying any saw and not checking the alignment, I don't trust any manufacture to sell any saw that does not need the alignment checked - thanks for subscribing!
Sounds like to me if your that knowledgeable about a table saw you would opt for a higher quality saw. These type cheap saws is for beginners like me
these are jobsite saws, made to make cuts in the field, so they are light weight, the are actually bench saws, not a true table saw, that means the blade is attached directly to the motor, where a table saw uses a belt and pulley with a frame mounted motor, vibration and consistent accuracy is a big reason for this, while I do use this saw alot, I have a traditional table saw that has cast iron top, actually 2 cast iron table saws bolter together with cast iron wings so that I have a rock solid saw with a wide top, but not very portable, it is in some of my early videos when I was doing the setup - so there are uses for both types of saws - thanks for subscribing!
Oh, GOSH! Thanks for that demo on how to get that darn blade in. _backwards pressure_ is the key just like *tatersackjack* said below.
showing that back pressure is needed is why I made this video, if you are used to the old blades, it is not obvious - thanks for subscribing!
Thanks for the video. I’m new to routers and I got this same model for Christmas. Most helpful!
Glad this video was helpful. I hope you enjoy the router, it is a good router - thanks for subscribing!
What is the shortest staple it will shoot
1/4 is the smallest I've used, I would not want to try smaller, thanks for subscribing !
Good System I Did ArchetectualWoodworking Professionally. For over 35 years and Typically the Companies do provide all the men with Belt Sander Belts in a Variety of Grits So. I’ve seen a Million Variations of a Sanding Block that you could release the Tension on to put new belts on , iMO your system is a Winner mostly because of the Simplicity !
I am glad you like the simple design. they work well for me - thanks for subscribing!
Mine wobbles and the chuck is not well-centered . . did you run into any issues with yours ?
I did not have that problem, but I don't stress this drill press, the more pressure you put on it, the less accurate the saw becomes - thanks for subscribing!
Thank you for explaining the settings. The written directions just weren't sinking in. The visual was very helpful.
you can find the manual for most HF tools on my website, snapwhole.com - but the manual not being clear is the main reason I did this video - thanks for subscribing!
Thank you!! I opened it and didn’t see instructions so I put it back in box… Thank you so much !
you can find the manual for most HF tools on my website, snapwhole.com - but the manual not being clear is the main reason I did this video - thanks for subcribing!
Thank you. Great video and presentation.
thanks for the positive comment - this saw is great for keeping my trees trimmed and cutting bigger pieces into smaller pieces - thanks for subscribing!
These are now $30 and I picked one up. It cut at around 88 degrees. Took it back and they all were cocked weird
Your vid helped me out on setting up my hypertough walmart table saw which was similar enough to be usable haha. Thank you. I got all confused since the instructions that came with it was terrible.
Come on , I like the screw fastened secure the cover and for the price you can't beat it. Anyway thanks for your time for sharing knowledge.
this is my favorite meter, and the temp setting is just a bonus, and I use the temp setting a lot, I have no reservations about recommending this meter, the capacitance range is not helpful for me, but it is not intended for the ranges I need, but i have specialized meter for that anyway, great price and very useful - thank for subscribing!
they offered an extended warrantee on it and I was like are you kidding me?
they offer an extend warrantee on just about everything, it is a great money maker for them, no risk, only profit - the warrantee is actually a one time replacement opportunity that is actually insurance from a third party insurance company, a warranty typically provide replace under the full term of the warranty, but HF warrantee is a one time use warranty, so if you buy a 2 year warrantee, and need it replaced in 6 months, the warranty can't be used again - btw, I typically don't buy their extended coverage - thanks for subscribing!
I hope you see this. Thank you for the video. The thing is in fact "a pain in the ass!"
it is a pain to use, too many option in one cheap tool, but if you don't need snap ring pliers very often, the price makes it perfect tool, thanks for subscribing!
Wish you could run it off your ac adapter also.
I had the same thought, but I guess the designed figures cordless was enough, but making it run off the ac adapter would increase the cost (probably not much), I think that is the reason for not having that option, thanks for subscribing!
Do you think the Hercules is worth the extra over Bauer tools?
for the average customer who is a weekend DIY'er ? NO, but if you work on a jobsite, yes, with the exception of the hercules sliding compound miter saw, that saw is 50% more that admiral, and not that much more than bauer and absolutely worth it, best miter saw I've ever used - thanks for subscribing!
This will save you money if you use it right. One I clean the sulfates of the plates I can see my 800cca batteries become 1000cca batteries with the extra pitted surface area. Get 15-20 years out of my batteries.
Thank you so much for taking the time to give us this review. I'm a fan of Harbor Freight (love their Hercules miter saw!), but I think I'll pass on this one.
this is a jobsite saw, and a little light for serious woodworking, but it is great for its intended use - thanks for subscribing!
Those pinless clamps are a pain in the hee haa. If you want a good priced beginners scroll saw get a Bauer from Harbor Freight. I absolutely love it. It only takes pinless blades but the blade changing is effortless.
The pinless blade adapters can be a little tricky to set up, but they're definitely easier than the old way of doing things, and if you have this saw, and don't want to buy another saw, the pinless adapters that come with the saw are a good option, HF typically has several model of most tools, trying to hit several price points, this saw is a copy of the 1990s dremel scroll saw, and it works ok, if you are buying a new saw, the bauer is a better saw, HF intended for this one to compete in the low price range, and the to compete in the mid price range, oddly they don't have a high end range, but I expect a hercules model to be released at some point - thanks for subscribing!
These are now 10$
welcome to post pandemic pricing - seems like everything cost 2x as much as before pandemic, a lot of stuff is 3x as much, unfortunate, but the new world we live in, not saying the pandemic is the only reason for this, but it does provide a good point in time to compare prices - thanks for subscribing!
Your son has a quick, problem-solver kind of mind!
put new hard drive in. using power to camera it comes on but it will not get video. video loss
the systems works without the harddrive, it just won't record without harddrive, I am guessing the problem is in the cabling, check the power supply to the cameras, what comes on? the system display? the bnc connectors can be a little picky about how they are connected, recommend you check the cabling, especially the power, apply power to the camera, and check them in the dark to see if they turn on their night vision light - check on my playlist for this system, there is a video showing how the night vision light looks at light, that will verify the cameras are getting power - thanks for subscribing!
Is it ok to buy a 3tb? It’s the same price as a 2tb I found but the 2tb is refurbished and has less reviews
