If you put teflon tape around your handle bar directly below where you are going to mount your lever/hand guard. It makes it easier to slap the levers back up into place after a fall

I have run wrap around full bark busters since they came out way back in the mid 1980’s. Currently I use Cycra pro bends and I use a Scott’s stabilizer. Currently ride a 22 YZ250X, BLU CRU!

Someone please tell me if you know. JD cannot possibly buy every bike ever made and then test jetting for EVERY SINGLE one of those bikes. There are just way too many different bikes for this to be possible. JD would have to have a 1 million square foot facility to house and test all of those bikes. However, Zillow says JD's facility is only 4 thousand square feet. So how does JD determine what jet to put in their kits for all of these bikes?

Awesome riding man! You're gnarly on a 125! Also, I personally run wrap around Enduro Engineering hand guards. I used to run the clamp that bolts to the triple clamp, now they attach to the handlebar. I do want to get the old style I had, as they never moved on me unless it was a gnarly crash. The ones I have tend to twist even if I lay the bike down fairly easy in a turn or something. Hope this helps! Keep up the hard work bud.

You’re happy to ride with great riders. EXCITED to say the least. Once rode a hare scramble in the B class and eventually got passed by Doug Henry. He went around my right, gave me a thumbs up and I was star struck. Got lapped but so cool who it was.

My dads fx has the same flags/levers you have my 350 has the factory flags and unbreakable levers been going strong for years with lots of wrecks. Just sucks clipping a tree and getting you’re 2 left fingers smashed between the bar and the clutch lever

Did you put in the jets from Europe that are available only over there? I got a kit from GB and it was a game changer on the YZ125. I don't have an X model

Great video! Hand guards without bark busters ARE the way to go! May save you from serious injury on a whisky situation as they give just enough to stop you from a ping pong you into another tree. You have to REALLY tighten them down hard and use lots of lock tight. Some use a whole other bracket to seperate them from the brake and clutch controls (meaning buy an extra stock bottom mount separate from you lever mounts (if that makes sense). Then it will never effect your lever position. Throw in some unbreakable levers and your all set. The best ones seem to be the Enduro Engineering Open Ended Moto Roost Deflector Kit. You can hit them with an iron mallet and they don't break.

Did you lose any bottom end when you went with the 98 octane dome insert for the apex head I have a sx/xc 93 dome rn and was wanting to do the switch as well and run the 50/50 with c12 and 93
