Sounds kind of like my story. I had a coworker back in like 2010 tell me to when it was around $50 to buy Bitcoin. He said it was probably going to be worth A LOT someday. I looked into it but didn't take action, it was hard to do without a little computer knowledge about how the graphics card and mining worked back then, which I had no knowledge of. I didn't even have a desktop computer at the time. I knew he could be right but it just wasn't easy, wasn't easy to buy or store (at least from my understanding at that time) and no guarantee of it actually doing what it ended up doing. If I had done a little bit more thinking about how the market worked I think I would have gone all in. A painful lesson, some people are just doomed to fail.

I was in the military and did a deployment to afghanistan. Since returning years ago i have a feeling that guys like us used to die in wars on a much larger scale. Nowadays combat survivability is higher. I often think about the fact that ugly poor dudes used to be killed by the millions and now we are just sitting here. Macabre but a reap thought.
