Great information, pulling the lock out of passenger door is quick n easy. Toyota even made it so the screw doesn't drop inside door. Had key made from code and it won't turn ignition.
So I lost my keys and going with this method but when I make the key do I have to do anything like program it to the start the car? I’m just making a basic key like the one you have in the video

To originate a new key, it’s the same way, when it comes to programming, you will need another type of key programmer.

Sometimes when vehicles can’t detect the key, the battery in the remote is weak or dead. Try swapping the battery usually those smart keys carry a battery (cr1632)

You need the smart key programer. And then use another tool to synchronize the remote separately

You should make a video on using depth keys to cut high security keys. The ones that have to be routed out in the center of the key shank.
From this method we always need to make one point for ignition switch there is one point extra in the ignition

You would have to use a lishi tool or order the key code for those 2 types of vehicles

Any tips for a 2002 Toyota Rav4? I checked both the driver and passenger side, but there is only one code that starts with the letter W.
The code is on the passenger lock. Be careful these codes can be very faint. I good way to spot them is by using a dry erase marker and go over the faint code then wipe clean. The ink is going to stay inside the faint channels and become more visible. But yes the code is stamped on the passenger lock, just take a closer look

Hello 👋 yes I’ll make a video of it. Also keep in mind Toyota has the key codes on the passenger, if the passenger lock doesn’t have an actual cylinder, then the code will be on the driver side lock 🔐

I use a software called InstaCode it costs around 15 usd a month and it allows your to generate auto key codes, and also decides key codes into the cuts. Etc

This method works as well, the only difference is that you’ll have to remove the passenger lock a different method and read the key code stamped on its side 👍🏻

Some Toyota’s don’t have immobilizers and some do. It depends on the year make and model. In this case the Camry I worked in in this video didn’t have an immobilizer.
