    You should try to add iavs system or what they call sandponics . The advantage of that setup is its the filter itself and also it can grow rootcrops. Isn't that amazing, new subscriber here and i hope to see more updates from you. 😊

    You guys look like scammers to me. You aren’t doing anything any Filipinos will ever be able to do. Show them how to build their own farm from materials readily available locally they can acquire. They don’t have 1/100th of your resources. You are only filling your own pockets. Show schools how to build an aquaponic farm using a poly water tank and poly lined bamboo water tanks. You are encouraging corruption with the big money, I see your expenditures to income ratio. I deem you scammers

    Hope you're still monitoring the comments... With the cement beds, any big issues stabilizing pH in the beginning..how did you go about it ? So far from what I'm trying to research it says that it takes about a month of recycling the water and eventually any leaching would be minimized by then (please correct me, I'm learning) Also, maybe I misunderstood. But you said given The weather challenges, you would have preferred to have lined the pond with liner. In the situation how would that have changed things? Or did the cement develop cracks that a liner could be an extra barrier for leaks? I am working to design a recirculating system in the developing country I was born (raised abroad since early teens). Materials like the liners which are imported are expensive. I have been debating ways to make multiple the long media bed greater 4 meters. This is why I was curious about your mentioning of wanting to use a liner if you could do it over.

    • @pursuitofcoconuts
      @pursuitofcoconuts 7 днів тому

      Great questions. The pH can take up to a little over a year depending on the concrete. This is from experience of my consultant. You can choose certain plants and vegetables that like higher ph until the leeching is minimized. As for as concrete, yes cracks from earthquakes wouldn’t be a big problem with liner. Also wouldn’t have to deal with the lime leeching out of the concrete. It seems like the best way to not complicate things but I do agree, as an import it can be costly but would be worth it since sealing the concrete also adds cost. It takes a month or 2 or even 3 to cycle the water to get healthy environment for the nitrogen cycle. The leeching can go for much longer. Hope that helps. Good luck with project! 🙏🤙

Your social enterprise initiative can be an inspiration for people to do in the Philippines other than retirement. What is retirement anyways? Might as well do something for humanity's sake rather than do nothing at all at retirement. Stay strong and of good cheer. Keep up the Fire!!!

    • @sherylcali2
      @sherylcali2 8 днів тому

      Hey best if I chime in for this, DO NOT ship your dog thru a moving company. lol. We flew with our dog thru our airline, it was a bit of a challenge since it was towards the end of the Covid era. Each country and airline have their own requirements, import permit and vaccines to be exact. The Philippine embassy website and airline website can give you some guidance, as well as the BAI Philippines website (bureau of animal industry) is where you can get info on import permits for your pup. Good luck, our journey came with some major hiccups when we landed in Manila and had to quarantine (import permit was set to final destination which was Bohol). Landing in Manila and having to quarantine because of Covid reseted somethings and I had to scramble and figure out how to get a domestic import travel docs. I think this story needs an episode all on its own!!! Happy to say our pup never left our side and is living it up on white sand beaches and waterfall tracking with us! 😂 Thank God!
