I Did This 2,000-PIECE DISNEY STAMPS PUZZLE by Ravensburger (And Welcome to My Channel!)
How many pieces is this puzzle? I’m looking into buying one for a friend but I don’t know how to gage skill level. I don’t want it to overwhelm her
Thank you for mentioning the piece sizes and the fact that it’s particularly suited for those with less fine motor control. It’s a useful bit of information and respectful of differences in the puzzling community!
I have the puzzle but i haven't done it yet, does anyone know what the measurements are so i can frame it after i put it together?
I am a Liberty puzzle huge fan. I am currently working MUSHROOMS …. Very challenging and if you have patience this is worth working. My next challenge will be OCTOPUS!
Wow! I’ve seen that mushrooms puzzle and it looks HARD! I’ve done the octopus, and it’s one of my favorites that I’ve ever done. Hope you enjoy it! I just ordered Beautiful Fishes of the Deep and can’t wait!
can you suggest any puzzles suitable for a 10 year old
Sure -- a few suggestions: Take a look at Mudpuppy (a sister company to Galison). Also, Ravensburger has 100, 200, and 300-piece puzzles, some of them with larger (XL) pieces. A number of other companies also have 'children's puzzles.' I also recommend checking out Cocoa Puzzles. Their 300-piece puzzles are really high-quality and not TOO easy. You will best know what piece count this 10-year-old puzzler is ready for. I would think that a 10-year-old could easily puzzle a 500-piece puzzle (or higher, depending on the kid).
@@piecebypiecepuzzler woo hoo ! you answered me back 😃Thank you very much !
@@piecebypiecepuzzler yes she has done a few 500 piece puzzles already !
I love that puzzle never done wooden puzzzles
I recently discovered her. I am a fan!
I will try again faster than myself puzzle
Thank you

I need your help with me
So happy to see you back on my screen!!!
I love how vibrant the colors are on those puzzles. I like how you left the puzzles together to show us. ENjoyed
I also managed to do 6 puzzles for All Aimee April, which was more than I expected! I always think of them as busy and quite intimidating, and while I couple I did fit that category, several were delightfully easy and several were in between. I shouldn't be so intimated by them as a whole!
I didn't know about All Aimee April. I haven't done one of her puzzles yet. But I think I've got a couple of hers in my to do stash. Great to see another of your videos! Looking forward to your next one! Happy Puzzling! 😊
I'm been looking for that Paris puzzle! Lucky you. I'm done that fairy tale fantasy one. Very fun.
I enjoyed the 1500 piece "Grand Library" Ravensburger puzzle. So much detail!
Love that one too! I prefer the quality of Ravensburger, but 1,500 pieces is more than I usually do, so I bought that one when it came out as a 1,000-piece Buffalo Games offering. Buffalo called it The Grand Fiction Library.
i’ve not heard of aimee april, but i do enjoy her puzzles. i’ve done the myths and legends one. it is fun, but make sure you have lots of lighting because it was a good bit darker than i expected. certain areas were easy enough to pick out, but a lot was on the darker side. with good lighting you should be fine though
Ooh, good tip! Yes, that one does look a bit more challenging than some of the others, but I love the details of the image so much. Thanks for watching!
I love the ones with shelves/books! I did a 2000-piece Ravensburger earlier this year by Aimee Stewart and it was super fun!
Agree, I like the shelves a lot!
Aimee Stewart is new to me... I'll have to put her art work on my to do list! Meanwhile, giant puzzles have become a thing over here. Currently I'm starting work on Educa's 6000 pc "Entering the Bedroom." With so many pieces it's impossible to rush through the initial sort - there's no way I'm going to do it in a single sitting. Since the whole puzzle is going to take a couple of months I'm okay with a sort that gets spread out over a couple of weeks. As a change of pace I will often have a smaller puzzle going on elsewhere, and the Aimee Stewart puzzles you showed today look like they would make a fun break from the Giant!
Oh my goodness! I tried to be better about larger puzzles, but at some point I came to the realization that my urban space here in NYC just isn’t big enough to accommodate. There was too much switching around of foamcore boards to make it work well. I really envy folks who can comfortably complete giant ones. Some day I hope to have the space. I think switching between larger and smaller piece counts is a great idea…I like to have that kind of variety in my puzzling - a mixture of smaller puzzles I can finish in a sitting and larger ones that take more sittings.
I didn't know about Aimee April. I love her puzzles and did happen to buy 2 in April. Backstage at the theater and the family campsite. Both fun puzzles. And now I'm doing kitschy cute for the second time. Enjoyed you're video.
Thanks for watching! I have Backstage at the Theater too. I really want to do that one soon. I work in theatre by day so that one spoke to me.
Aimee Stewart is one of my favorite artists! Love her artwork. I found the experience the same with the Merry Mushroom Village Feast, it took me longer to build and I used the heck out of the reference poster but loved it! I have assembled Kitschy Cute and Kitschy Kitchen and loved them! I have Path of Totality, Travel Trinkets, Life Is An Open Book: Paris and My Awesome Collection 1989 but have not yet assembled and look forward to building them in the future. I have Myths & Legends, Life Is An Open Book: London on my wish list. I didn't know about the event, "All Aimee April" but how fun that must have been! Love the video, thank you for sharing! 🧩🧩🧩
Thanks so much for watching. It sounds like we have similar taste in Aimee Stewart puzzles!! I can’t wait to see what she puts out next.
How has it been so long?! Excited that this is the video you came back with!! Nice t-shirt 😉
I know...I didn't realize it had been THAT long.
Great to see you again. It was a nice surprise to see you in my feed.
Aww, thanks! Appreciate your watching.
Great to see you back! A video once in a blue moon is perfect, like a little catch-up. We don’t expect constant videos, would much prefer every now and then balanced with you minding yourself.
Thanks so much for watching! That's what I'm hoping for.
Thanks for the close-up look at this one! The price point is a bit of a hurdle for me, but I do enjoy higher-end wooden puzzles! Love the silhouette gears in this one. So cool.
I hear you. Appreciate your watching!
Woohoo🎉. Great to view your video Richard 👍. Par puzzles are a luxury for us here in Australia so having a look at one was great. We enjoy wooden puzzles from Wentworth and the images are incredible. Looking forward to your views on the puzzle world whenever you have the time. Warm wishes from Melbourne Australia. Mark+Chris
Yes, I also love Wentworth too. I really like their angular cut style.
Would love to see a video on puzzles you've collected this past year.
Ooh, interesting. I'll keep this in mind. Truthfully I haven't collected as many new ones... I've been trying to work through some of the ones I amassed over the last few years.
Silohuettes is not an exclusive term from PARS puzzles. Honestly, I prefer Liberty Puzzles to these because they have more whimsicals than Pars, plus beautiful artwork, and some can be built into a 3D as well with some of the pieces!
Also love Liberty Puzzles! What are the other companies that call them silhouette pieces -- I've only ever heard of it myself in relation to Par, but I'm sure you're right.
@@piecebypiecepuzzler I believe I've heard them being called silohuettes in the old vintage Ceaco cork jigsaw puzzles. Can't recall the rest, but whimsicals, silohuettes, whimsies, and what-nots boils down to the same thing.
Yay! You’re back! ❤
So good to see you back! That's a beautiful puzzle. Looking forward to seeing your next video. Happy Puzzling! 😊
Thank you! Cheers, thanks for watching!
Great to see you back!
Thank you!!
Welcome back! Very nice to see you again! What a beautiful, unique puzzle! Thank you for sharing! 🙂
Thanks so much for watching! This was really a recent highlight of my puzzling, so glad I got to share it.
Welcome back. Bringing happiness back to my puzzleing enjoyment 😊
Aww, shucks! Thanks for watching!
Well hello there! nice to see you back! I'm one of those old fogies who doesn't do a whole lot of social media. I have an IG that I don't use very much, so it's nice to hear your voice again on UA-cam! I have yet to do a Par Puzzle - I only have a handful of wooden ones, the most recent being a ZenChalet that I've enjoyed. As to coffee, when I was working I had quite the Starbucks addiction; now that I'm retired it's more of a now-and-then thing. There are a couple of local roasters I like to patronize, so I end up grinding those beans at home more often than not. Love the image on the Parbucks you shared today; it's cool when the shape of the puzzle isn't a standard rectangle or circle!
Thanks for your comment! I recently tried my first ZenChalet and really enjoyed it.
I’ve missed you! I’m glad you’re back.
Aww, shucks. Thanks for watching, and for your kind words.
Missed the intro had to listen to it twice.
Haha!! Thanks for watching!
Love the vids. Don't care how often they come out just as long as they do lol.
Long time no see 😢
I am interested in doing wooden puzzles, but they all seem to be "less" than the 1,000 and 1,500 piece cardboard puzzles I am used to. Why is this? I want the quality and uniqueness of wood, but do not want to sacrifice # of pieces and I don't want to sacrifice overall finished size. So .... why are most wood puzzles so small, and where can I find ones that are just as big as the big cardboard ones?
Sorry, I'm just catching up to this comment! This is an interesting question/subject. You're right that many wooden puzzles tend to be in smaller piece count categories, but a number of wooden puzzle companies, including Liberty, Wentworth, and others have larger piece counts (if not 1000 pieces, then 600+). The cost to make and purchase wooden puzzles is also higher, so of course those puzzles tend to be in a higher price category as well. If you are an enthusiast of wooden puzzles, you might check out Hoefnagel Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle Club (www.woodenjigsawpuzzles.com). I'm not a member myself but know a number of happy members of the club. There is a membership fee, and then you pay for shipping for each "pack" of puzzles that you rent in the month. (I'm not an ambassador or spokesperson for the, it just came to mind based on your comment).
Not an expert, but having upgraded from cardboard to wood (mostly Liberty and Stave), the fine quality wood are much more challenging, with complicated connectors and cuts. Also, the edge of the puzzle is typically much more difficult than your standard cardboard puzzle. Meaning your 1500 cardboard puzzle is probably much easier than a 700/800 piece fine quality wood puzzle. Finally, since it’s not just printed on what is essentially thick paper, the wood itself and the precision it takes to make such unique connectors and cut them is done either by hand or with precision machinery. This means these puzzles can be quite expensive. Some Stave puzzles are over $5000😮.
What should I do with all my puzzles I glued
Maybe you could frame your favorites? I've also seen people save favorite puzzles in a portfolio so they can flip through.
Ha Ha....which ONE. I love these puzzles and own ....too many ...#10. I trade them with friends. So I've gotten to do my 10 + 14 of Erin's + 9 of Kathys. I find them so soothing...and I too waited on the waiting list all through COVID. I buy a when I get birthday or Christmas money. I too love the feel and smell and how they fit together. When the world is so over whelming it feels so good to accomplish a Liberty puzzle.
I totally agree...putting together a Liberty Puzzle is so soothing.
Hi! What is the brand of puzzle board you are using? Do you enjoy working on that blue background?
The puzzle board is by Bits and Pieces. The blue background is OK overall. If I had my choice, I probably would choose black or green, but the board was a gift and I've gotten a lot of use out of it. The other aspect of it that I like is that it has a built-in easel function, which makes reaching the 'top' of the board a lot easier.
I wish when a channel stops we would get an update on why it stopped..I pray it is not health related...
Hi Kathy!! Thanks for your comment. Not health-related! I’m still puzzling but not on UA-cam lately. Plotting a return, but I want to make sure that if I start posting again I can be consistent about it. Thanks again for your comment!
Good luck to you... Looking forward to your return.. Thanks for the update..
Nice selection. Including the links to your featured puzzles in the description would be awesome and helpful.
Thanks so much! Wherever possible, I have actually included those links in case you were looking for any in particular.
I own and have worked Cobble Hill's Owl Magic. It is absolutely gorgeous and it was such a joy to assemble. It is one of my favorites.
I totally agree. I love the artwork on these 'Magic' puzzles from Cobble Hill. Thanks for watching!
Over the last month I've been putting together a couple of Simpsons photomosaic puzzles that I've had since 2005, I'm really enjoying the challenge.
I'm a simple girl. I see Disney puzzles and I see Elfquest art and I subscribe.
LOL, thanks!! ElfQuest is one of my other main hobbies besides puzzles. Catching up to this comment late!
I LOVED putting the Windsor Wives puzzle together!! It was a great time.
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Are you still posting videos as your puzzle collection and videos are great? Hope all is well
I may be back soon... :-)
@@piecebypiecepuzzler 🥳🥳🥳well we can’t wait 😄👍. Made our day ‘down-under’. Cheers. Mark+Chris
We did the Dr Suess Liberty wooden puzzle, and it is by far the coolest puzzle we've seen so far!!
I *love* their Dr. Seuss designs. I hope to do one someday.
