Fully agree, but I was already disappointed on kayo deck by no adding at least 2 brb or 2 tlfr. Adding quickguide, and sideboard would fiz the rookie mistakes. For higher priced products we should get some dices or mana counters already.

Just bought Jarl deck and started playing 3 days ago, I agree opening the $60 deck was very underwhelming, especially after opening a Altered Starter deck that was $15.

Totally agree, box opening product feels weak, bleak, and disappointing. Give me an exclusive paper lore item, thematic and a life counter, dice and Sideboard for $60 💯

This is such a good video with deep thoughts meant to not just the customer, but the developer as well. Im happy that they didn't leave out the ice element, now that the recent elemental set only featured earth and lightning. Although, i would appreciate at least some new icy tech cards in the deck, to have fun with.

Just slapping an L rarity on a new card doesn’t make it legendary. They could have done the same thing with savage sash but it’s M. Kinda funny they upsell the L arms in this deck.

I don’t get how they keep not giving you Arcane Barrier. It’s such a wild choice. Even just throw in some Nullrunes as a sideboard.

I really wish that the perforated tokens that they've been including in these were acrylic, instead. I'd actually use them if that were the case because I'm not a fan of ripping card sheets even if that's the point. It makes sense for the packs to do so for draft/sealed but these are meant to be kept so why not make them built to last?

Nice video! Thanks for your analysis. I can't remember if you mentioned it, but It's also cool that LSS is coming out with the guardian mastery packs. That way you can enjoy that product and also potentially use those cards for this deck.

I have a standing rule if you don’t have a sideboard, you can convert one of your equipment into a Nullrune. Honestly, as more people get into the game, LSS could use to reprint Nullrune equipment, as every new player needs at least one set. They are starting to dry up since they haven’t been reprinted since History Pack. Or maybe LSS wants another $1 to $2 common…

100% agree. The box doesn't even serve as a deck box because the packaging doesn't facilitate it. I love jarl, but Nullrune, resource token, and rules guide would help a lot

Great video, agree with almost everything. Bought the deck and started in the game this month, still learning, but i loved Jarl. Play ice cards to give enemies frostbites in their exposed areas and slow them down is awesome, from the mechanic and flavor aspects. Loved the idea and the concept. BUT... Talking with people who plays the game for a long time, they said that i should build the deck focused almost entirely on guardian/generic cards because if i focus in ice cards, the deck will not be as good as it could be. Theoretically, i should run a few ice cards only, which means Jarl's static hablity won't trigger as much. That's very frustrating to me. It feels like i'm not creating value from his hability and most important to me...the flavor goes away. I would love to see you make another Jarl's video, maybe with a gameplay? Maybe with upgrades suggestions? Greetings from Brazil (and sorry for my english). 😁

I haven't even finished the video and have to say I couldn't agree more about the packaging. The fact that for 10$ more you could buy one of the deck collections with a box, a mat, the 3-4 decks and the boxes the decks come in. I understand they are trying to be careful and not feel like they are selling out. I would love to get some metal/acrylic tokens, a life counter of some kind, and a re usable deck box of some kind.

In Poland and in my city in particular (one of 5 biggest cities) FAB pretty much failed. While popular at first, it simply died. While the group of players we had could teach new players, the products visible at the store just did not have ANYTHING to really entice new players. Just packs, boxes and blitz decks and blitzs wasn't even a proper format. New players bought blitz decks, wanted to play at tournament then learned its a different format. This lead to pretty much zero-sized influx of new players and our group just fell apart across a few months. By the time those armory decks arrived, it was too late and nobody played FAB anymore. New players often asked about the decks, got intrested but upon hearing people don't play it at the store, they gave up and opted to try Pokemon, mtg or onepiece.

I buy this product and i feel like you have too many things to change. The most important one is changing the non-block cards because you will get stuck when you draw those cards. Need to buy the earth card for damage and control in ROS set. This hero is fun but too many things to upgrade.

This game always seems to struggle with Arcane Barrier. I feel like it's such a half cooked mechanic with how little they provide ways to counter it.

I really wish that they would include some accessories like what you mentioned in the video or even a paper playmat with the card positions great for beginners that can have the guide on the back. To me it's expensive enough to have those at least especially when taking to account of different currencies

Grand Archive managed to nail precons for their game perfectly. Around $60 with a deckbox, health counter, fully playable deck with a playset of every single card in the deck, sleeves, and 3 packs. Just imagine an armory deck with the resource token and matching sleeves.

Great video. Thank you!! New player here. I can’t tell you how awesome it would have been for me to have one of those resource tokens included in the box. Yeah, I use a die, but all the other guys have those nice metal / enamel discs from different events. Would have been cool to have an ice one, even if acrylic, to feel like a real player without having to track down some specialty store and spend even more money. To their credit, the locals have been very generous in giving me AB equipment and other cards to upgrade and stand a fighting chance in the weekly armories. Jarl is my 2nd Armory Deck purchase. I got Kayo 1st because he makes me laugh. I think I had a bit of disappointment with Jarl though because it seemed to me that if Kayo was alright out of the box at $50, then the higher price should have come with some of the upgrades you mentioned and been a bit better. As it goes, adding the oaken olds, frost fangs, and a few other cards wasn’t outrageously expensive, but they were still enough to make this already higher priced item ($70 here) go over 100 USD easily. Maybe LSS will hear this feedback and create some amazing armory products soon for some of the other heroes I’m interested in trying out.
