They were invited to do a song for the last Bond, but as all the bond movies it was an audition, some artists/bands submit their music and they choose the better one. Hans Zimmer, that was doing the score and music direction for the movie was the one that decided this was the one and had them flight to London to work a week with him in the London studios w an orchestra. He also recorded Billie humming the song so he could used it in the score of the film, and he did use the melody in the score too so he really loved it a lot and was super impressed w them. Billie just turned 18 at the time . Both her and her brother wrote the song btw. This was the first time she performed it live, at the performance was also Hans Zimmer conducting the orchestra (he rarely does this performances shows you how much he believed this song) and at the end the guitarist is Johnny Marr, legendary guitarist from the Smiths. Finneas and Billie won their first Oscar with this music, Billie just turned 20 and he was 24. And btw they won another one last year, you'll probably get there soon enough.

You’re in for such a treat. Don’t worry about “poppy” even her youngest poppiest songs are sonically and visually interesting. What I truly recommend is looking at her releases chronologically and seeing if a video exists. There’s never going to be a video/song that won’t impress you. You’ll have favorites but never be bored. But her first song she was 13, she’s now 20. She goes through a lot and release order matters. You’ll get to know her through her music. You’ll be so proud of her by the end.

This might well be my favourite Big Push number. I like it because it seems so spontaneous . It is a true jam. The members do not seem to have planned in advance, yet pull off an amazing performance.

Ren played a strong bass in this band. He loved playing bass, and probably did so because Romaine was such a good lead guitarist. He and Romaine took turns at lead, but it is always a delight to hear Ren on bass. Who else does lead bits on bass?

Pau's scream is most likely why this is one of the if not the set closer. This one was indeed raw in every sense since she was not feeling well for this show. Almost felt bad that she had to do it and then perform "Narcisista" afterward.

That part where Ale looks at Pau and leans back, that was to tell Pau to slow down for a moment. They have such an amazing chemistry. I've seen performances of Metallica where James just yells at Lars, but Ale and Pau, in contrast, have a system that is beautiful to watch. Ale is the timekeeper, like James, but they have a sisterly love that makes it work without a single word being said. They are the tightest Hard Rock band around and people should start taking notes on how they interact, even the greats. Loved the reaction as always! ❤️⚡🤘
