Road Trip! Baybay-Tacloban-Marabut Samar: Guess the MPG
Ok everyone! Here it is! The first real "Road Trip" in the world's best used car. In this episode Sheryl, Shelby and I take off from our home in Baybay City, headed for Marabut Samar...literally another island! Yes, we're all excited about the beautiful beach we're headed to, but personally I'm more interested in seeing just what kind of gas mileage I can get out of the world's best island runabout. You'll need to watch all the way to the end to find out the result, but spoiler alert, the little Suzuki Alto 800 was AWESOME! What a great little car it is. After more than a year of ownership, I'm still convinced that this is the best used car you can buy in the Philippines. Don't forget that if you want some official merchandise from the channel please stop over and check out my etsy store. We have some great items available for you and all the proceeds go to supporting our bee farm here in the Philippines: beekeepinginparadise.etsy.com

Hey everyone, we're doing a bit of time travel today. We're going back to the big Baybay City Festival in December. I know it's a bit of a throwback, but it's an amazing time to be here in Baybay City and one worth enjoying at any time of year. I hope you enjoy. Making this really made me smile. Good day everyone. I hope you're having as awesome of a day as I am. I'm so happy to share this video with you. It took over a month to film the series but Digoy and I were finally able to get our Jungle to Park transformation completed just the way I wanted...for now. And in this episode my wife returns to the Philippines and makes a very sleepy appearance. Don't worry, you'll see more of her ...

Hey everyone! I'm making real progress transforming part of my, very jungley farm into a park-like setting. The downside is that sometimes mishaps happen and I nearly got killed. Thankfully, I'm ok, but it could have been really bad. Check it out and see how calm I was about the whole thing. The funny part is that I predicted it the day before and didn't realize it until I was editing the video...
Jungle Into A Park. How Hard Can It Be? Part 2

So, you buy a farm in the Philippines. You get a weed eater to clean it up. That doesn't work. So you buy a lawnmower. That works...eventually. Well, that pretty much sums up my past few months. I can’t see myself driving it. I see Wigo and I hear Go wee. Plus I have a lot of confidence in the product Suzuki puts out. All the quality of a Toyota at a fraction of the price. Plus I think my Alto 800 might have a bit more ground clearance, and that’s important because of the potholes and really inconsistent speed bump heights we have. God bless you always my friend. Junk. Bought the small 3 frame unit. When using, it feels like it is going to fall apart. Incredibly light frame and useless legs. The outlet is 1" above the floor of the tank. Stupid design beyond comprehension. For those of you who are wondering WhyTF did I buy it? Good Question. My main extractor needs a new motor and pully. Bought this POS for 175$ used. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY Junk

    • @beekeepinginparadise5935
      @beekeepinginparadise5935 6 місяців тому

      Hi Carson. I really appreciate the comment and you watching the video. However, I couldn’t disagree with you more… and for some of the reasons that you mention. Mine is the three frame like yours but I paid way less and I got it brand new. I’ve seen it advertised from Vevor many times in the $125 range. Is it light? Yup. That just means it’s ultra portable and I can put it up when not in use. Are the legs flimsy, a bit, which is why I lag bolted it to a pallet, problem solved for free. Along with the leg issue, I learned that if you crank it slowly it doesn’t wobble nearly as much and it still slings the honey out super fast. When I relax and crank it slow and steady I get great results. As for the spout being above the floor, it still works and when I finish my frames the whole thing is so light it’s no big deal to tip it and get the honey out of the bottom. I’m not saying there aren’t better extractors, obviously there are, but I can be counting my honey profits 10 times faster with this machine than someone who spent a thousand dollars on a machine that does the same thing but with fewer annoyances. So im not disagreeing with your criticisms but for the price, I’ll live with it. Do I prefer my Brushy Mountain 9/3 radial? Yup, but I won’t say a negative word about the Vevor. God bless you and thanks again for the comment.
