Thank you for the feedback and support. I’m working on editing the next video in the series. The honey will flow in the next show. God bless you my friend.
Thank you for the feedback. I am also looking forward to things improving in the future as well but in order to grow and expand it’s going to be a lot of work. I think I’m up to the challenge though. God bless you always. Bee well.
Great news Brent! The bees sure got really, really busy. I'm guessing there are no more bees at the farm? The balcony setup did very well. Congratulations on the harvest. 👍🙏
Correct. Right now there are no bees on the farm. I need to split these colonies and bring them back there to give it another go. Getting them established at the farm is my only chance to grow as large as I want to be. It’s going to be a challenge but I’m up to it. Thank you for all the support. God bless you my friend. Bee well.
Thanks for being there with me today. I really appreciate it. I might be able to wrap it up in one more episode if I cut some of the Q&A segments. We will see. God bless and bee well my friend.
Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I really like hearing that. I’m going to do my best to keep it coming. I’m really glad you enjoy the videos. God bless you always and bee well.
That extractor is certainly a step up from the last one you showed! Looking forward to seeing it in action and seeing how much these two survivor hives produce as it's a bit uncommon for a new nuc to produce much excess during the first year, let alone just 10 weeks.
Hey Daza. Thank you for the comment and feedback. I should have the next video out in a day or so. I have so much raw footage it's sometimes difficult to cut it down and edit it into a watchable length. I'm so pleased with how these two new nuns performed. I'm truly speechless. Only 1 week after my first harvest I just checked and they are already capping more frames that weren't ready last week. Thanks for watching and God bless you always.
Thank you for the kind feedback. Yes it was way too much footage to put all in one video. I’ll have that next one out in the next 48 hours. That’s my plan anyway.
Hey Mike, Thank you so much for the feedback and support. I really appreciate it. I'm really looking forward to the next harvest too. I'm adding more boxes now and I think we're going to have a good crop in August if the nectar flow continues through the summer. God bless and I'll see you soon.
Thank you for watching and taking time to comment. Yes there is a reason. Over here in the Philippines, in my region of the country ,colonies never seem to grow out of a ten frame deep or at best a 10 frame deep and part of a super. By keeping them in 5 frame boxes I can let the queen move up and still be able to keep my honey above in additional supers. If I used 10 frame boxes when I am ready for harvest I’d be pulling individual frames from the sides of the brood and I’d rather leave them in there for the bees to keep. It’s a personal preference for me and I just find it easier to manage these smaller colonies this way. Bee well my friend. God bless.
Thank you so much. I hope you are correct. I’ve accomplished step 1…make honey here. Now I have to expand and that could be tricky but I’m not afraid of the work. God bless you my friend. Bee well.
Correct. These bees are so calm and gentle that I almost never wear any protection or need to use smoke. I generally wear a veil in all my videos to set a good example, but when not on camera, no veil, no gloves, no shirt sometimes. Just shorts and bare feet. The “problem” I had was that a big chunk of comb fell out of the frame and was on top of the next box. I had to repair it before I could move on. Thank you for watching and asking questions. I love it. God bless.
Wow finally sir brent. Congrats.
Eduardo's here.
Thank you for watching! I’m really happy about the harvest. I show the rest of the process in the next video. God bless you both my friends. Bee well.
Great time extracting honey. It amazing to see the barrel filling
Thank you it really was a fun day. I wish I could have filled the barrel more than I did but it’s a start. God bless you my friend. Bee well.
@@beekeepinginparadise5935 God bless to you too

Lol! Yeah you and me both. Part two should be out in a day or two. Thank you for the comment. God bless and bee well.
Hey man
Hey Gamer. Thanks for watching. God bless you my friend.
Any reason you're running five-frame nucs rather than a full 10-frame Langstroth?

Ow soooooo the first part is done and theres a part 2
Correct. It was too long for one video. One for how to harvest from the hive and part 2 for how to extract from the frames.
wow you dont use smoke to shewwsssss them away. 22:26 what is that thing that you called there's a little bit of a problem?
Correct. These bees are so calm and gentle that I almost never wear any protection or need to use smoke.
