Hes back 👊 BTW i cant do 1 pull up 😂😂
Thanks mate! And there's me thinking 12 was minor 🙂
Hola amigo. The creaking is down to knees and hips. I have the same problem 😅.
Haha...mostly likely right there mate!
Great to see you back 🥂🥂
Ah thanks! Good to be back! Hope you're both well.
My dear brother, what is the measurement of the holes at the top of the frame?
how can you keep the ring fully pumped up and full of air? I have tried using an electric pump and also the pump provided (handheld, different to what you are showing), and 3 different rings and it is always flat, with no air at all ;(
It's simple. Just pump what air you can into it and close it. It will be half full and quite limp. Then there is an attachment on the valve. This is a no return valve. Just blow into it using your mouth. That's how you get the remaining air into it and full.
and...go to 6:02 in the video where I explain it.
Hi, Well done for the race. I’m looking at this for next year. Did you stay at one of the campsites next to the bridge? How long did it take to walk to the transition and the start line? Cheers
@@TriSparky hi yes I did stay in one of those. Takes no more 15mins or so to get to transition - very easy.
Nice video, just got a lumi recovery pod, being summer the water straight from external tap isn’t cold enough so doing 10 mins a go, feeling good after though with improved sleep. Just froze a 2L bottle to drop into to cool it down further for tonight’s dip. What are you doing to keep water clean and not smelly after a few days? Mine was starting to smell, so I completely emptied/cleaned an replenished, wondering if you use chlorine or such to maintain clean water.
Hey. Check out the other video I did on the channel - the set up vid as I go through how I keep it clean using chlorine tabs and a dispenser. It will be harder in summer though as weather and water is warmer.
Nice video! Great advice and information. I been self coaching for about 3 years now and made improvements in the sprint, olympic and just did my second 70.3 this year in 4:40. You just got to be disciplined and really want it. It comes down to your ultimate goals.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching and what a great time for the 70.3!
Great review thank you very much. I am going to order mine now!!
Great! Good luck mate
Great thank you
Hello everything is fine? I also participated in 70.3 Luxembourg and I also felt that the swimming was slower, I believe that the river currents had an influence on this... As you say, the roads were a little dirty, but the roadworks in the first 30 km also made the route somewhat dangerous. I'll leave a short video of Saturday night's storm in the comments...I'm still wondering how your camping tent held up!!! :) Greetings from Portugal! :)
Hi Victor. Greetings and thanks for commenting and reaching out. The tent was great - no issues with that just the tarp I had up which had to be taken down. Yeh I think the currents were definitely cause of the slower swim. I think on the return I should have stayed closer to the bank. Roadworks were not helpful as you say but overall I enjoyed it and would do it again.
Well done! Another event bagged and as you say, the experience is what it’s all about. I did Bahrain 70.3 in 2015 and it was changed to a bike run format as the water in the bay was deemed too dangerous - I was quite pleased actually 😅
Great effort. That storm sounded mental so pleased for you that the swim was on. Its nice to go to race an enjoy them rather than chasing times . 👌
It was mate. Slept ok they considering it rained all night. Recommend it tho, one for the future
Looking like its going to be a wet one 😅😅 Hoping it went well for you
Thanks. Part 3 dropping later to find out!
Im always prepared for camping. I just dont do it 😂😂
Haha. Well there may be a few more races in the future where I have no choice but to do this if I wanna do them!
The "no plastic" rule is the dumbest idea that was implemented. The reason? ... Best guess is they don't want to pick them up after the event but they ironically they don't mind using them for transition bags. A solution I found is wax paper or wax coated canvas bag strapped down.
Thanks mate. Yeh it is bloody silly considering most people just take them off in the morning and I'm sure the majority bin them. There's plenty of bins in transition left around. The annoying thing was I think there were so many doing it anyway that they couldn't then be bothered to go around to ecveryone and take them off. I got there in the morning and loads of bikes still covered. Think I was unlucky as so close to the bike exit.
Nice video ✊. Grub looked fantastic! Race strong!
Thanks buddy!
Ah so that’s the next race! Enjoy and race strong. Look forward to the next episode
Working on it!
Injuries cleared up? What’s the target moving forward? I’ve lost track of your journey - sorry!
Mate totally understandable. I have of urs too! Everyone’s busy racing. Yeh mostly healthy mate
Well done, nice video 🔥🔥 Looked a toasty one
Thanks. Yeh sure was! Short though so very doable
Good informative video, I'm I right in saying that the built in jocks could be cut out as easily as any other lined shorts?
yeh you could certainly do that!
@@TriToBeIron Great, thanks for your swift reply, greatly appreciate it, I'll order them now so 👍
Great video. Well done again ! Getting ready for my race this Sunday, first in 9 years. They have changed the course and so thank you for this. Getting ready now with a knee injury!
good luck in your race and hope the injury isn't too bad. Shame I'm missing it this year but planning on being back there next year!
Great video footage. Looks like a neat place to race. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for watching and yes I recommend it if ur ever able to!
Well done buddy! Great to have a feel good factor again after the frustrations and injuries. 👌Outlaw races are mega. Sis the full in 2014 and loved it.
Thanks matey. Feel like I’m back and part of the community again! Onto the next now
Start them young they say 😝congrats to your daughter and well done on your performance, glad to hear that you were happy with how the day played out overall!
Will pass the congrats on. Thanks Chloe. Pretty good day overall.
You racked right next to my buddy. I can see his white dolan there 👌 Well done on a great race, great to meet you for 2 seconds 🤣🤣
Haha. Small world. Yeh I had a little chat with him. Thanks mate and I did try look out for u actually but didn’t see ya apart from that 2 secs on course. Thanks for the cheer anyway buddy!
Class video mate, you did a great job
Thank u!
Hey Danny… Nice to meet you mate 👍… What a good day that was. Great to finally be back racing again! 🏊♂️🚴♂️🏃🏻♂️… Great work bud 🙌
You too buddy and thanks for saying hello! I saw you had a great race mate so a big well done.
Good Luck on the race 👍Stu will cheer you on for me 🤣
Thanks mate!
Enjoy the race, il be there cheering you on 👌
Ah nice Stu..Cool. See you around I guess!
All the best with the race buddy. Hopefully the race vibe will bring the run legs back👊
Thanks matey!
I'll be there too! Looking forward to getting started 👍
Nice one! come say Hi if you spot me. Hope you have a great race mate.
Are you doing Luxembourg 70.3 or Full 👍
70.3 mate. They only do that.
@@TriToBeIron Nice 👍 one 1️⃣ 👍
I’m doing this race too. Good luck hope you have a good race
Thanks mate. As good as it can be! U ready?
@@TriToBeIron yeah I feel and have trained much better than I did for my last 70.3.
@richardsmith1445 great to hear. I hope u have a great race. Have u done outlaw half before?
@@TriToBeIron thank you. No the only 70.3. I’ve done is Staffordshire
Looked like a well-deserved holiday 😍😍
Is it possible to remove the mark from the pencil without damaging the paint on the wheel?
Yep. Just a light rub. But tbh u cannot notice it once installed and it fades in time
Singapore looks amazing, lovely editing. Thanks for sharing.
super intéréssant ! Merci pour le partage. J'espère qu'aucun chat ne rentre dans ton jardin😂😂😂
merci. J'ai plein de chats dans notre jardin! Pas de problème
Nice I have had mine since Christmas I need to get around to installing it. 😂
Well hopefully the video helps!
I like the comfort level of mine but they leave an indentation under my eyes that creates puffiness that lasts at least 12 hours. it makes me look like I've been on a weekend bender. I've tried to loosen the straps...but still a problem. Any advice?
No mate. I don’t use them for the reasons set out in the video so can’t help I’m afraid.
Yes lad. This is amazing to hear 👌
Thanks buddy!
Cracking run there mate, nicely put-together video as always 🔥🔥
Thank you!
Wow, well done!! Sorry to hear about the groin injury you had going on, but you still smashed it 🎉✔
Yeh got through! Thanks. Now to heal and onto the next adventure
3:19 what a mamoth effort i could only dream of being that quick. you should be proud of yourself. not running for a few weeks before and getting that time is amazing well done Dan
Thanks mate that’s really kind and thanks for tuning in. It was a slog at the end and did consider why I was doing it. I think just putting in 20weeks of hard work beforehand gave me enough to get the time. Now to crack 3:15!
Recover and you’ll be back stronger 👊
That's the plan!
Great Video! Congrats on the run!
Thanks buddy!
I think the eating channel sounds good 😂😂 Oh and congrats on that little run you did 😂😂
Thanks mate!
Top effort! Saturday was such a washout was pleased it wasn’t race day. Struggled with the heat after 30k but got my PB at 3.49.43 so happy. Heard they ran out of water later 😳 Wife’s talking about Seville next year already.
Ah well done mate! Pleased for you. Yeh Saturday - what a wet one ay?! I didn't realise they had run out of water later on. I did Seville last year - check my video out for it if you haven't. I recommend it - it is another great race. I'm considering Malaga myself.
Congrats! I hope your legs are recovering ok!
Slowly - more life in them today!
Congratulations 🙌
Thanks buddy
