These K-pop girl groups make cuteness kinda sexy. Also, they make that Asian squat seem so suggestive and they do it a lot low key. That's all I got for this drop. Maybe I'm ruined because of XG and NewJeans (Currently now known as JeanzForFree) with their whole concepts, but Twice is one of the OGs that got the globe noticing K-pop as an international commodity opportunity. These collabs are usually disconnected because they both shoot on opposite sides of the world. I think ROSÉ & Bruno Mars - APT is probably the first joint where artists actually got together in person working on the project for real real and not some gimmick to promote sales to each of their fanbase. Rosalía and Lisa pioneered this as buddies while Jennie and Zico has that same feel and kinda wished she added some of her brand of spit on their drops.

Late for this, but thanks for reacting to Kyungsoo’s song! It’s one of my favorites from him. Soothing vocals, amazing gitar, engaging melody. It sounds easy, is easy to sing-along to, but…whenever you try to sing it alone, you realize how complex and difficult it is to hit those notes, with exactly the right amount of emotions and depths Kyungsoo has in his voice. His stage name was given my SM, and not something he made up himself. His real family name, as written on his military uniform, is DO Kyungsoo (도경수), so they just made it into D.O. (디오) in EXO. As an actor, and now solo artist, he uses a more western friendly version of his real name. I guess, to make it easier to pronounce right: Doh Kyung Soo.

The face that you recognize is Dahyun. She is the Lead Rapper and Sub-Vocalist of Twice ! She is recognizable because of her SMILE specially and her calm voice ! She is alwaaays smiling even with Swaggy-songs 😭

Megan Thee Stallion is a real Hip-Hop Artist not just a Rapper ! She is the 3rd best selling female rapper this year alone and she have the Highest Grossing Debut Tour for a rapper too. However she won 3 Grammy in 2021, one of those Grammy was for her collaboration song « Savage » with Beyoncé !😁

TWICE's is well known for funk, 70's,80's disco funk kind of sound in their recent albums. It is also because of the influence they got from their Boss of their company or agency "Park Jin Young" He is influenced by Motown artists. Their early discography is more on 2nd generation of kpop sound with more bubblegum pop or korean mainstream pop with mix of Traditional Japanese pop style music. But if you listen to their discography they have alot of music covered alot of genres of music. They have atleast 300+ songs in their discography. Korean songs, English songs, and Japanese songs.

They surely got me, 1000% sure.

Twice (9 members) is Korea's National Girl Group, Asia's #1 Girl Group and the most successful Kpop Girl Group in history with a discography surpassing 230 quality songs for every musical taste and have the honor of receiving numerous industry awards that to this day are unmatched by any other group. They are the hardest working idols and the most sweet, humble and kind people around.

I really like a reaction when the person comes with the technical terms of music or dive in the production in their own way. Giving recomendations and talking about title tracks: I Can't Stop Me, Feel Special and Talk That Talk are their best, but the real amazing quality is in their bsides. Megan probably wrote her own verse, but perhaps toned the lyrics down a little because of TWICE's image. Probably the video you reacted to (with Megan) is targeted more at the international market, because there is an alternative version (has an M/V, too), which is with high probability the version for the more conservative Korean market. Megan's feature and her verse are missing completely there. BTW: TWICE also featured on the new remix of Megan's "Mamushi" a few months back and are really good on that (no M/V, only audio, perhaps also lyric videos). If you like to react to TWICE more, their more recent title tracks might be your style. After all, they started in 2015 with more cutesy songs and got more mature in their sound over time. They have a huge discography with Korean and Japanese releases and are adding quite a number of English tracks, too. From the album "With YOU-th" the tracks "One Spark" and "I Got You" (full English) are great. Also "I Can't Stop Me", "Talk That Talk", the solo tracks of Nayeon, "ABCD" and Tzuyu, "Run Away". Just to name a few.

Lets see, i have listened to the song for the first time with your reaction video so i was a little unsure at first about the song. But i feel like its gonna grow on me. Their title tracks are generally chosen specifically to represent this catchy fun side of theirs and i respect that. They have many more tracks that explore other genres that are worth checking out, will be looking forward to future reactions! They even have a japanese sub-unit lol cuz they have 3 japanese members as well. Theyre really enjoying making music together so i have always been fond of twice❤

Never followed any of the K/D beef and did not give AF engaging in any of it. They got issues with each other, go settle it like normal people person to person. I stoped following diss tracks since Tom Macdonald's beef with Mac Lethal. 5 years later after that run, Lethal finally came up with a response and Tom ignored him which was the better move because it made Lethal look like a ranting insane person.

I think this song is the spiritual successor of their break out hit ‘Shooting Star’ following the momentum they gained from Cocona going viral on their GALZ XYPHER. In terms of how it’s composed, it’s very similar, albeit much darker. They’ve really refined their sound and comparing these two tracks, you can see how much they’ve grown. I think they’ve really found their sweet spot here with the balance of the rapping and singing.

Soon you'll find me under every video at this rate lol normally im not that much of a commenter so its unusual for me too 😗 For the song, the first couple of times listening to this song i kept getting goosebumps everytime i heard the chorus, seriously! It makes me feel so many things at the same time, i dont know many things about production but i guess the thing that lures me is the feral/protective feel of it? I think as a Turkic women, i love wolves because my culture is interwoven with it so deeply, there is actually a myth that says our roots are tied to the wolves so maybe thats another reason why i resonate with this vibe A LOT. I still cant believe they have managed to do it justice with the music video and the production. Even the fashion is hella dope. I madly respect every person that was involved in the making of this.

Even as an exol i have a hard time understanding d.o. and as this song was his last song before enlisting into military, i spent a lot of time listening to this while trying to understand the feelings behind it, why he chose this song, why he released it at that time or even why he always talks about health and being at peace with life and taking care of your loved ones etc. You can REALLY see he cares about those topics with the way he highlights those matters in most of his songs and speeches, he doesnt show a lot but he cares deeply. I marvel at that side of him a lot. I wish he shared more of his story, of his heart but he doesnt. And I guess that's okay too. (Idk, most of exo members are really private people anyways. I cant help but wonder)

Ironic how your next breakdown is this drop and the simplest form of song after our comments on the previous videos you did. A mic, a guitar and something to record it. Yeah, this was dope, and I didn't need to even understand anything this guy had to say in his song due to the language barrier. You just felt the gist of it in its raw form. Production wise, I know that capturing that state of consciousness is more involved and takes some setup but the idea is probably why I have a need to see something like this live and on stage or in a cramp studio where you can hear a pin drop.
