I always took it as the idea that Broly, with all his latent power, got shook up as a baby from Goku's noise and carrying on, even though Broly knew he was stronger. Also comments from the other saiyans pointing that out. I figured that all this time later, it was a loose end after proving how strong he was to everything and everyone else. When Goku showed back up, even without realizing it, his subconscious was like "Hey, that guy acted like he owned the place. He made you look like a bitch, even though you eclipsed him."

The head cannon booty-pulls are so real in this video. It’s not that deep. Goku’s crying made Broly mad. You clown. lol

Everybody's saying broly has ptsd. As a baby, male genital mutilation chopping off the 4 skin chronic ptsd. I got I can confirm. That broly would have PTSD after being stabbed in the chest and some memories of Goku crying brought up those past memories.

The reason I prefer this Broly I mean he’s my 3rd favorite dragon ball character, but I like this one more then supers because it doesn’t de construct him like super does, he’s just a straight up saiyan menace in Z and that’s why I love him

Ive always figured that hearing/feeling Goku triggers a primary memory/instinct of the day he got freaking stabbed and his planet blew up haha. Pretty traumatic.

I've always loved brolly. Mostly because he's so powerful and i feel that goku only ever wins because of plot armor, but hey it's dbz. You don't really like the characters for much other than their style and power and how they fight.

Who doesnt understand Z broly..? The movie(s) are pretty self explanatory in terms of; hatred, ptsd, power struggle (not to mention the ever long discussed "legendary super saiyan"). Havent met many that actually hate, or fail to understand this character...

It boggles my mind of how so many people miss the point and then just compare 2 to the first game like they're all supposed to be the same. I cannot stress this enough. Daniel is a KID. And as someone who is an older sibling, I can 100% say that younger siblings under 12 will definitely do dumb shit that gets you in trouble- such as showing a neighbor who doesn't get along with you something they made. It's just how kids are. If there's someone that likes you, they'll hog the attention or get jealous. If there's someone who doesn't, they'll either try to befriend them so it annoys you or so that person can lighten up on you. A lot of people point to the blatant racism being a big problem in LiS2 and I feel that they don't get that the story takes place in 2016-2017. When racism was at a serious high point in the U.S. People were calm about it before that but as soon as they saw a president who wanted to build a wall, a lot of U.S. citizens decided to validate their disgusting behavior and make strives to "take back their land." So the fact there's a bunch of blatant racist assholes makes sense for the time period the story is in. I can't remember when but there is a newspaper clipping that you can look at in the game where the officer's sister talks about how he was only in the force for six months before being killed by Daniel's blast. This is alluded to how back then and even now, a lot of rookie officers are sent to dispatch by themselves without proper training like trigger discipline and de-escalation tactics. The powers in this story are not comparable to Max's. Max can use her power whenever because no one will remember her using them. Daniel's power lean more on responsibility and a hindrance. Whereas Max can use them to fix her mistakes, Daniel and Sean have to learn from their mistakes. Lots of the choices effect the core relationship which is Daniel and Sean. If you're too big brother, Daniel will rebel and do his own thing. If you're too lenient, Daniel will show no remorse when hurting people with his powers. If you steal, Daniel will steal thinking it's fine because Sean did it. And it doesn't just stop with the two brothers. If you let Daniel kill the cougar (? idk the animal that killed mushroom so correct me if im wrong), Lisbeth will use it against you. If you don't call Lyla from the motel, she goes into psychiatric care. If you don't call Lyla ever, she doesn't come to see you released from prison. If you're not nice and positive with Joey, he won't help you escape the hospital. That's not even getting into that your choices effect Daniel's morality. If your choices are high morality, in the ending where Sean surrenders, Daniel will agree and he'll minimize using his powers and live a healthy normal life. Or in the ending where Sean doesn't surrender, Daniel will hop out of the car and be put on house arrest. If your choices are low morality, in the ending where Sean surrenders, Daniel will either lock the car and drive it through the border while attacking police officers, ending in Sean's death and Daniel being a wanted fugitive in Mexico where he has no problem killing people OR he'll step out the car and kill the officers in front of the border and escape with Sean to Mexico afterwards but they'll both be fugitives in Mexico. I see a lot of people complain about how people don't stay long enough in the story and it's the dumbest critique. It's a ROAD TRIP. They are RUNNING AWAY! OF COURSE THE SAME PEOPLE AND SAME PLACES ARE NOT THERE FOR VERY LONG! HOW DO YOU MISS THE POINT OF A ROAD TRIP?! And finally, I've said this too much but it's not having effect, so I'll repeat. LiS is a mystery centered in Arcadia Bay. What happened to Rachel and Kate? Why does Max have time travel ability? Save Chloe or save the town? Why is Nathan Prescott doing what he does? Etc., etc. LiS2 is a tale of two brothers on the run after their dad was murdered and a police officer was killed in their torn-up yard. Throughout the story, Sean doesn't even know what happened that day. He doesn't know how the cop got killed and it's true. He passed out from Daniel's blast. He has no alibi. All he knew is that his dad was shot and when he woke up an officer was dead too. And being that this was a time period where Hispanics were targeted and a lot of enforcers in the country just looked for any reason to send them to jail, he did the only thing he could because back then it didn't matter if you were a kid or an adult. If something bad happened around you and you weren't white, you wouldn't get a fair trial. You were sent away for long time. So um hey. If you got this far, thank you for reading. It just sucks that most people that complain about this game not being good either A. Compare it to LiS B. Complain about it not having active powers C. Are somewhat privileged so they chalk it up to "forced writing" D. Completely misunderstand the story and write it off as bad OR JUST ALL OF THE ABOVE ALONG WITH OTHER DUMB STUFF LIKE COMPLAINING ABOUT CHARACTERS NOT COMING BACK IN A ROAD TRIP STORY! It just sucks that this in my opinion at least is one of their best if not the best game because of how realistic and risky its material is. I have played both games recently with my partner and roommate. We have been noticing the odd pacing of TLOU1 and while it's still a solid story in a solid game, it truly hasn't aged as well as edith has. Most of your points landed with me.

The AMV at the end was like…my childhood. It’s weird how most of that stuff is either dead links on other video platforms or just exists in UA-cam….

I always thought that Z Broly was fucking badass. The new Super Broly is stronger but he doesn’t have the same psychopath evilness to him. The Z Broly evil side is what made him Broly in my opinion and I hate the new Super Broly.

It's cool to think of Z broly as a complete psychopath that senses latent power like a Baki villain. Just an agent of destruction.

The ironic thing is that the first Broly movie was arguably one of Funimation's more faithful English dubs of the franchise, at least prior to Kai (and outside of OG Dragon Ball)........ which really goes to show how much worse the rest of Z and GT were treated by them.

I think brolys anger towards goku is more of a traumatic response since he was nearly killed im the beginning while goku was crying, but thats kind of a stretch and not that good of a theory, but its my head canon

I watched this because I'm always open to a new take. This take was really bad and somehow made me like Z broly less.

I think Broly’s hatred towards Goku may stem from rather the EVENT surrounding his subconscious memories of him rather than his thoughts of Goku himself. Keep in mind, Broly was like…STABBED by King Vegeta like, the exact same day. I don’t he remembered Goku, rather just the subconscious (or conscious) trauma of getting STABBED.

Broly also somewhat mirrors Goku as another Sun Wukong. Like in the original myth, Broly wears a golden headband that restricts his power.

I love Dragon Ball Z Broly over Super Broly I'm sorry I don't care what nobody say super brawly actually sucks honestly everything that people was complaining about Dragon Ball Z Broly for being That's exactly what super is I don't like the fact that he's not a villain but I love the sadistic nature of Dragon Ball Z Broly because he was a jackass he was sadistic he was crazy he was villainous and I just loved every minute of it It was just like hell yes he was running through the Z fighters like it was nobody's business honestly it was just amazing to see. And the music for the legendary Superman in the dub Amazing cuz I watched the Japanese one and I'm like damn I didn't realize it didn't have any music at all really it was so somberg but man the funimation knew how to hype us up with them soundtracks for Dragon Ball Z I don't care what nobody say I think the Dragon Ball Z dub music is way better than the Japanese music. And it's kind of crazy how everybody keeps misunderstanding him because of the parody of team Four Star because a lot of people misunderstand a lot of these animes because of these parody videos where they don't understand the character and they use that as a reason to be like yeah that's why the characters sucks but Z Broly was fantastic way better than what we got currently.
