I have a setup question for a class c motorhome power addition setup. What is the best method of wiring to keep setup more "default wiring setup?" I'll have the built in 12v system setup, but I want to add a 24v battery setup with inverter. Should I take the line going to the inverter breaker and bring this as my "AC in" on the 24v inverter? Then bring the "AC out" on the 24v inverter to the inverter breaker in the panel?

You forget to mention, the exact terminology for that function from VICTRON is "Power Assist". To find in the manual of your Multiplus or Quattro. 🤨

if I can give you some good advice,. you need to get a new or alternative camera with a gimbal to achieve better quality video. I like your content its just harder to watch when its shaky and foggy. otherwise great video, keep making videos !

IF I only was to use 50A shore power or Generator OR drive to Europe where we do have 240 volt everywhere I could get by without the switch and fiddle with the Victron programming ? correkt ? And all my panels , outlets are now 240 volt IF I use L1 and L2 ? How do we make sure we have proper ground and security ? Any change to Ground and neutral in inverter or fuse panels ? TIA.

Does Starlink have a support email or phone I can call to see if my obstructions will cause an issue. Currently the app says some interruptions, but what does some mean?

The negative watts is the inverter sending power to the grid. The inverter has to raise the voltage to assist, so when the air conditioner first cut off, it hadn't lowered it's voltage yet.

Wow that was short and sweet I would love to RV IN Canada one of these summers, but I’ve seen and heard so many horror stories of Americans being hassled at the border that it has turned me off a bit. The fact that I’m an Arizona native apparently guarantees I will be searched. I guess they think everyone from Arizona is attempting to carry a gun over the border and I do travel with firearms so I would have to secure them on the US side before I go. It was nice to see my German shepherd isn’t the only one that sits up and watches where I’m going 80% of the time. Thanks for sharing your border crossing. 👍👊😎

Hi Gary, this video was incredibly informative. I have a unique system I setup but have not yet had both inverters on at same time as i wanted to be certain I wasn’t going to mess anything up. I have 2 Victron inverters one is multiplus ii 12/3000 2x-20 the second one is a 24/3000. Yes, I have 2 battery banks, one 12v and one 24v. I have read that to stop Victron in parallel the unit must be same units. Which mine are not. Would your configuration work for me?

Thanks for the video. Convinced me to buy the Coleman Mach product. Installation went smooth, the Coleman instructions made it easy with clear directions. Only downside was my local RV dealer took me to the cleaners on the price. Should have bought online.

Solid video. I have to ask, how many amp hours and watt hours is your battery bank? Also how many watts of solar do you have up top? Just ordered 2x of the soft starts for our Colemans and have been giving some serious thought in upgrading our batts/solar to run ACs without genny. Thanks!

Thanks! Just did the install on my unit without any issues. I was half way through when I realized I was doing it from memory after watching your video and probably should at least glance at the instruction manual. Some of the best instructional videos seem to come from Canadians. (But then I'm slightly biased)

Thank you for demonstrating the power draw with and without the Coleman mach and microAir soft starts. We have a 3000w Victron inverter with 600AH lithium. Ran the microAir soft start on our previous AC jwhic just lost refrigerant. I put the new Mach 10 iin and I decided to go with Coleman. The comparison between the two different soft starts was what I was interested in. We had no problems running our AC for three and four hours with the micro air. So You inspired confidence so I went ahead and purchased a Coleman and am installing it tomorrow. Looking forward to similar results of as you.

Can you help me find a source for the clear high heat tubing you are using from the AQ unit to the reservoir? All I can find is max 150 degrees. Thanks

I set my starlink up in a hurry late one night next to my RV down in Yuma, the first 24 hrs it self pointed straight up, then corrected itself to point north northwest. I’ll have to try the straight up technique next time I’m up in the Arizona white mountains right now where I stay I have to put it on a 12ft foot pole to shoot it over some trees. I do have a fairly wide clearing where straight up my work and keep me off a ladder and pone. 👊👍😎
