Gary, I have a similar setup. I'm using Dual Quattro 5K's on my RV. One thing I did learn is that the charge current going to the batteries is divided. I have 4 X 48V 100amp lithium batteries and I determined that the 50A charge current is divided to 12.5A on each battery. My batteries are listed as 100A max charge but they recommend 30A max for longer life. That essentially means I could set the charge current all the way up to 120A on the quattro and it will send 30A to each battery since they are in sync. I'm using 4/0 cables and have not noticed anything getting hot.

Thank you for the comments. Definitely the slower you charge the better. It is good for the batteries and they balance better as well. When I am plugged in I charge as slowly as possible when I arrive at a park or am in a 30 amp park where a lot of power assist is happening. When charging from the generator boondocking, I do charge faster so the genny does not have to run for too long. Charging 8 batteries at 30 amps is 240 amps. That builds a lot of heat. If the solar is charging as well it gets even hotter. So I also try to keep the charging to 120 amps overall. Much cooler.

There is so much that can be done with these victron inverters and other components... love the victron equipment ❤

Yes indeed! The way all components work together is awesome!

I don't have a Victron set-up (yet). However, couldn't you also just rename one of your existing configurations (on your computer), load that one locally, make your changes, and then upload that new file to Victron? (instead of always downloading it from Victron to start). Maybe its six of one, half dozen of another, but it seems like it might be faster that way (unless I'm missing something).
This is a GREAT way to do this...wish Victron would make it easier to do this on the phone, but this works well! Thanks for making this video.

Maybe I didn’t explain it in the video as well as I could have. The idea of the video is to show you how to create different profiles on your PC and then down load them to your phone. Then once you have created all the profiles you want there is no more downloading, you just select what profile you want when ever you want.

@@RVLIVINGLIFE Thanks for that...and one other question. I've seen some videos on the Dynamic setting (letting the Inverter take up the slack due to a generator needing a few seconds to ramp up). This could also be saved as a profile for on-the-fly adjustment, right? Just check the box in one profile, save it (naming it appropriately), and then use it as necessary, right?
