I never saw another episode of this, I didn't have a TV. But I saw this one at the house of my new girlfriend and we both loved it, she was a good girl and still a friend. But that last scene with the comb...... I finally got round to tracking it down and it's just as funny. Up there with Basil Fawlty thrashing the car.

Thanks for the chance to Finally wach the full series after decades of planted memories of shouting from corporal and having done hgv training at ritchies training centre in Glasgow the only things different are the bilets , and berets , everything else is the same, instructor's could be on a par with corporal Marsh it reminds me to renew this years cpc hours , realising its TIME TO GET SOME IN . Ohhhh noooooo

Unusual how the Fibula & Tibia are so focused on this.. I was knocked of a scramble bike in 1976... St Johns ambulance man pulled off my boot & carried me to Ambulance.. Yes.. broken Fibula & Tibia... Made much worse by St Johns...

I admit to spending approx 7 months prison time in one of these places.. All though ' BAD '.. some of it was good to experience.. The place was called " Gaynes Hall '..and had become an open prison with 3 ' houses ' This programme bringing it all back.. If you have seen Shawshank Redemption.. where the Screw gives everyone a beer... Our little group did some Hay work for a local farmer... He also gave us beers... It really can happen ... Anyway... this is good series

I’m still loving watching these, thank you for sharing. I’m still remembering my dad watching these and reminiscing about his RAF National Service experience, and laughing along to this…. Corporal Marsh DID exist!

I joined the British Army in 1997, left 2003. Worse job ever.

I’ve liked this series but this was a terrible episode and particularly bad as a final episode. Only the previous was worse with religion stopping a liar and a fraud from getting his comeuppance. Next episode he’s still scum. This season was really really bad tired hospital comedy. Thx for the upload!

I know it makes the story, but I wish the team would get wise and stop playing into Marsh's tricks. £2 was a great deal of money in 1955 for Marsh to steal.

I started in the RAF like this, other married kennels were not much better and the subsequent 25ish are now considered as "not fit for human habitation"! I am anticipating massive compensation - some hopes eh?

Yes it is funny, it reminds me of all sorts of things and it was a "must watch" in it's day. However, something needs to come back and not the limp wristed suggestions recently made by the politicians.

My father did 37 years in the RAF . 1935 to 1972 . Joined as an electrical apprentice Airman and finish as a Squadron leader . He Had a very good pension !

With someone who behaves like Marsh, you have to teach him a lesson, N.C.O. or not!

I think this corporal an example of the N.C.O.'s and officers who have been done in by "friendly fire" in the past!

Quite a dark episode! Marsh bullying the team to try to cover up was sinister

I was a carer for a lady who did exactly that with the marshmallows but with more milk in her cereal bowl. She lived in a big house and it was some distance to the kitchen from where she was eating. It was all done deliberately as she was like that with everyone. Nobody could stand her.

Lori Wells did have nice legs.

John Edmonde & Bob Larby were really cool clever writers. Writing from real experience in National Service gives huge gravitas to the wit & humour. Forget all politically correct bollocks and just enjoy a good laugh at a comedy gem. Something that doesn't happen with the so called crappy sitcoms of now, what do you reckon 3 F Smifff!!
