The pandemic taught me that in a shf situation there will be waaay more 762x39 on the shelves than 556. My local stores always had 762x39 and 762x54 on the shelf. 556, 9mm and 762x51 were almost impossible to find.

Late to the party, but I completely agree with you. I hope to never find myself on that side of the fence. I honestly started my channel to share my experience through this journey and learn from other people's experiences too. Those were my WHYs. So thanks for sharing your thoughts on this whole gun collection craze. Personally, I'm not a fan because I hate clutter and I love for each of my firearms to serve a purpose. Thanks for sharing. I own the SA XD Mod2 45ACP 3.3 inch 1st pistol I ever owned. It is my. EDC and GO TO. I did change out the hard sights for illuminating night sights. It is a nice piece. I trust SA for their weapons integrity and performance. How did your live shoot perform for you?

I paid $140 for the AKML from GunBroker because NO place had them in stock only for a month later Primary Arms sent me a back in stock email that they had em $70.. goes to show how much I wanted that piece. The AK-301M side mount I received fit the side rail of my SLR107 perfectly nice and snug, over all I'm very happy with this setup, sorry to hear you had to deal with the setbacks before getting it set up, I hope you did because you'll certainly like it once completed 🤙🏻 P.S. I never used the staking pins in case I ever want to switch the optic setup onto another carbine, the screws with purple lock tight holding steady

I dry fire with working with the safety every night it’s a difference. I use tier1 as well.

I have the FNX standard like yours. As much if a 1911 fan as I have, and as much as I dislike DA/SA, th4 single action in the FNX is very acceptable. Smooth and light take up, then very light sear release. 15 rounds of 45 ACP. My small hands can grip and reach the trigger fine in SA mode. The slide is a stainless steel with a corrosion coating on top. The backstrap has an alternative, flat or arched. It's a fine combat pistol made by a company that knows how to make military grade firearms. Th4 FNX and my recently acquired SCAR 17 are my SHTF load out rigs.
