I agree. The soft goods now are a little flimsy. That’s where I wonder if they will keep making it better or if this is as far as they want to take it.

My guess to this answer is by staggering out releases they can keep the hype. Rather than one mass announcement some things are going to over shadow others. People would loose their minds over a couple things and others never get talked about. By showing 10 at a time there’s the opportunity to have 10 “best of this reveal” figures. I think that’s why I like the leaks each year. It gives me an idea but then there’s still a surprise when I see them through the year.

I mean I think every year they put out figures people want. I can’t remember the exact number of brand new characters they did last year (it’s in the marvel legends vs McFarlane episode) but it was a lot. I thought we were supposed to be getting jack of hearts this year. Maybe I heard that wrong.

Oh that’s another good use of I’d think him and gambit could have pretty similar coats.

I’m always surprised how much fans cry about that. It’s just action figures. If you want budget collecting there’s going to need to be some reuse. And companies like four horsemen do it so well

Yeah I feel like with some of the kickstarters of street dios and street thugs Hasbro could do some good things that fans would really want.

I really don’t hate pins. Maybe that could be on another hot takes episode. If they haven’t started doing pinless I would have never cared.

That’s true. It does seem like with the online exclusives the boxes are more filled with accessories though so that’s a good step. I also don’t love soft goods unless it’s at the level of mafex which I don’t think will happen super soon.

I feel like the anniversary lines have to stick with the flag ship characters to bring in new fans. I would have loved to see a heavier focus on both DD and punisher we did just get 3 DD figures within a year and a new punisher on the way so we got them but just not in the fan fare way of an anniversary line. They could just have a yearly anniversary wave each year to get some of those in similar packages.

I don’t think you can only get older characters. You’ve got to keep up with the current media while sometimes going back to the older stuff.

Also I’d LOVE to see Sif. She’s one of my favorite comic characters. I say she needs a She-Hulk QUALITY figure but not a She-Hulk SIZED figure because while Sif IS muscular, she is also pretty short

My guess is it's a bit of a mix. they can probably suggest some of the ones they want but they have to have those staples that that will sell. It all has to come back to if they can make money to keep the brand going.

Very true. We never have a 100% list of figures. There’s always new things throughout the year that weren’t on that list.

I’m sure they will upgrade some of those. Although before the 2 you mentioned I’d like to see Elektra get the super articulated treatment.

I think both of those are great questions. I doubt the second could be answered directly but I bet the answer is yes. At least in the way of, if they can keep a fan around a little longer while waiting on a team to get completed maybe theyll pick up another and start a new team that needs completing to keep that drip going.

​@thestrongcollectors Actually, I know more than one person who has QUIT collecting BECAUSE it's taken too damn long for certain teams to be completed, such as Classic X-Men (STILL WAITING ON THAT BANSHEE FFS!), X-Force, and X-Factor (1.5 AND 2.0!), and that's just 3 quick examples... I mean, seriously, think about it... why couldn't they complete the teams fairly quickly and make the fans happy, because we all know they're eventually going to do updated figures to replace the older stuff along the way, so no one would be very likely to quit, and IF they're just looking to complete certain teams ANYWAY, then are they REALLY super inclined to buy all the other $#!t while they wait for that one damned figure?! No, probably not. Hasbro is very stupid in a lot of ways. Listening to Jesse Falcon about a DAMNED DOOM HEAD WITH GALACTUS AS A TIER "REWARD" INSTEAD OF ANOTHER HERALD OR MAYBE SOME AWESOME BLAST EFFECTS THAT WOULD HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN MORE USEFUL IN A DISPLAY, INSTEAD OF A BULL$#!T PAPERWEIGHT...!!! ​@@thestrongcollectorsI know how you guys make these videos and for me (that love and enjoy collect Marvel Legends) is always fun to play a new video, could be speculation video, top video, wish list, discussing an interview, I'm mean, I'm just enjoying someone speaking Marvel Legends in general.

I usually just ignore something that don't like, instead of waist my time with a negative or offensive comment. That's looks so bad. Let's respect and have fun with the action figures we like.

My goal has always been to reply to every comment we get. So far I’m able to do that. Even with the ones that don’t like what we do. My thought is, if they didn’t like it, at least I get engagement and my comment can just add to that engagement.

I've been saying with the way did the last xmen multi packs it would makes sense if they did the wrecking crew as 2 separate 2 packs

I feel like apocalypse could be a made to order figure and the horsemen could be multiple 2 packs.

I think if marvel legends keeps going towards adult collectors like it seems like they kind of are maybe in the future. It might be a little too soon. That sounds more up mcfarlanes ally.
