As a new 40K Space Wolves guy, I really dig your builds. I'm trying to convert and change each of my Space Wolves models in some way. This channel has been a great resource and inspires me to 'be bold' to just chop, glue and use a bit of green stuff. Just knocked out my Blood Claws to be a bit more... "barbarian berserker" looking with trophy skulls, furs and bones hanging off them. I am yet to try the Green Stuff beards and long hair. That's the next project for the Grey Hunters. Keep up the videos, it's great for ideas :)
Hey Gonzo, that's really great to hear because my videos were always meant to give people ideas and inspiration.. Take what I'm doing and improve on it in whichever way kinda thing. As for the beards and hair, they do seem intimidating at first but I always remind myself that its just green stuff, I can remove it and start again if I want to. But yeah, feel free to share your work with me any time. 🤘🤘
I did say it was a Space Wolf, and he does have heads like I said. Glad to see this take on a Chaplain. The Wolves one has a Wolf Skull helmet and it's my favorite one
Only bits that really make it not stand out right away as a wolf priest is the badge of office, the Crozius Arcanum and on the shoulder, you have given the priest Ragnar's chapter all wolf priest are under the great wolf so that is a little off. still a solid 8/10 and better green stuff work that I can muster. I learnt a few tricks so thank you.
Came out looking awesone. You might not have noticed yourself but your skills are coming along leaps and bounds bud. Top work there. (Hope that didn't sound patronising!!!)
Like it. It can be painted black and will then fit right into wolf priest. Or it could be a great Wolf Lord or wolf guard battle leader model. It's inspired me for making Erik Morkai. Thank you!
Love the conversion. I have most of the bits you used. So when I convert my chaplain to a wolf priest I'm good to go. Don't have a horn, but I can find one on ebay. One thing I will add are more of those rune/dogtag bits to the model. specifically one or two attached to the necklace you added , and hanging off the backpack. Might have put one of those wolf skulls on the back of the backpack as well. But I really like how you convert. Given me lots of ideas. Thanks!

Superb personalized for my own I'd prefer axe heads smaller with the original idea of a four way Chaplins Crozeus Arcainus ! Keep up the good work budy !
great video! and great result! i always cringe a bit when i see a hobby knife blade sculpting green stuff, but no issue here! =) He sure does look like a Wolf Priest, and also like Wolf Lord Krom at the same time (Krom Primaris)
Thank you.. yeah I try use stuff that everyone will have lying around, but I've actually bought some proper tools recently so I can up my game. If he looks a bit like Krom, then I'll take that as a win haha 🤟
I’m new to the game and just got space wolves. Is a wolf preist the same as something like a rune preist because I can’t see the wolf preist in my codex
@@JamsMiniMods thinking about it, sandor clegane in his original armour is blackened steel, I think that would look incredible on a wolf priest, that sorta hard-core chaplain black, but with the slight metalic brought in with chipping edge highlights .
Well at the time I didn't have wire to pin.. I've made bonds like this many times and never had anything snap. But I agree, pinning for extra durability is always a good thing.

Yeah TBH it doesn't read as a chaplain. Just a wolfy dude. Still, the conversion is great, specially the hair! I haven't seen that technique before.

A wolf priest is basically a chaplain, mixed with an apothecary.
