@ I started during lock down but taking it more seriously now I’m retired. I get such inspiration from Fellow ‘ turners’. Keep up the great work. Michael☘️
Absolutely beautiful, im a new bowl turner done a lot of pens etc never turned walnut into a bowl it looks truly amazing. someone will love that as a heirloom piece
Looks great Will. I very seldom do twice turned bowls but I may here pretty soon. If so I will mention why. I have been using salad dressing bottles for a lot of my finishes. They work pretty good...as long as you get all the salad dressing out LOL. Take care, Gary
Thank you kindly Gary, I find twice turning and coreing bowls cuts down on losses, ie cracking splitting etc, and I can cut down on storage space plus I always have dry part turned pieces at hand, Kind regards From Will 👍
Beautiful bowl William! Been turning a lot of American Black Walnut and English Black Walnut over here in the States. Really like your Irish Walnut - very pretty grain and color!
Thanks ever so much, you guys have beautiful walnut in the states, rare as hen's teeth here, Appreciate you watching and commenting, Kind regards From Will 👍
You get some beautiful wood! Stunning as always. The day I want to tell you I got and used some citrus burnishing oil you didn't use it! Great recommendation. It gives a lovely finish and everything smells lovely.
Thanks very much Rachel, I'm glad you like the citrus burnishing oil it's one of my favourites, and definitely a great smell around the workshop for a few days, Will 👍 🙂

Another beautiful bowl, Will. I normally use wax as a finish as oil takes a day to dry between coats and I don’t have the patience 🌞
Thanks very much Ray, wax is definitely a quicker way to a final finish,
Cheers From Will 👍🙂
