Love RetroGames on the berlin turnpike, been going there almost 10 years now. I like the gamexchange in wallingford, great DVD and Bluray selection with frequent buy 2 get 1 deals got a lot of unique sets from there. Staff at both places is very chill, I always prefer to buy disc based media from both because they clean EVERY disc they sell and its like buying new, never had an issue. M+J is more like some guys hangout spot who HAPPENS to sell stuff sometimes. They have a lot of wrestling stuff if anyones into that. Last time I was there they were just chilling watching wrestling shows. They could do better if they really wanted to but honestly its like more like a small boys club.

I'll have to check these places out, I hit RGP semi regularly (theyve also got one down in milford), and a couple of the Game Xchange locations (wtby and hamden). I didn't realize stateline had a location down in state, i vaguely remember a game store on 57 in south central mass between southwick and agawam that i /thought/ used to be called Stateline but they had moved to the holyoak mall, which may very well have been the one on the little pamphlet you had. I'm impressed by their amount of boxed games, and that battle of olympus looks immaculate. I'll pick the video back up later, I'm not a dyed in the wool NES fan but it's always nice to see people just doing their thing and sharing so people can come along for the ride.

I love the Retro Games Plus in Norwalk. Always a good selection and decently priced.

Nice. I'm a couple hours from CT. Might be worth a day trip to check out some of these places. Locally, there's not much decent.

I'm really surprised you're including Stateline Video Games, they are well know for high prices and bad service, and they distribute counterfeits. Otherwise, all of these are good stores. Retro Games Plus isn't great either.

I live in Bridgeport CT (born not raised, raised in East Hartford) and Game x Change was like my favorite store here. Use to be one on Main Street then it got closed after covid which sucked. I now go to the one in Orange, there's a Retro Games Plus there as well like a couple blocks up from it. I love those two stores.

I’m a Connecticut retro collector as well so I love the channel. The problem with GameXchange is anything rare that comes in never sees the shelves. My friend used to manage one of the locations and told me they kept all the good stuff for themselves for either their personal collection, or to resell on their own. Keep the videos coming

You gotta expect Brick and mortar stores to be higher than online prices, they have rent and such to pay. people selling online don’t.

Cant really knock stores for charging a few bucks more than list price considering they probably have to sell hundreds a month before they even start to make a couple bucks. Imo a real store front is always worth spending a couple more bucks
