I really wish it would have lasted longer before retirement. Thanks to Glenn L. The service on the IRT West Side Line is so efficient that it is normal to be able to catch a train leaving and departing on both the uptown and downtown platforms at any given moment. Here we have some double R62 action on Dyckman Street.

In our reality: R39 was the proposed contract number for lightweight subway/elevated New York City Subway cars. They were intended to replace old equipment running on the BMT Myrtle Avenue Line in Brooklyn and the IRT Third Avenue Line in The Bronx. The cars, which were to have been built to IRT dimensions, were to be a smaller, lighter-weight version of the R38 car, and were to have been order...

The V debuted on December 17, 2001, when the connection from the IND 63rd Street Line to the IND Queens Boulevard Line opened as a replacement for the F, which was rerouted via this new connection, on the IND 53rd Street Line. Except for a brief period in early 2005, the V had the same service pattern during its eight-and-a-half-year history. As part of a series of service reductions to close a...

OpenBVE NYC Subway "1968" The Coney Island Fleet*
I always remember R16s as far back as the early 1970s on the EE and GG trains. I also remember they retired the R16s in 1987.i think the last place they ran was on the former 15 train, which in 1987 was the J train. Great video 📹 👍 👏 👌 🙌
Thanks.
@@danielwrynn4707 I’m glad you enjoyed it Dan! The R16s always interested me, I wish I had a chance to ride one when they were in service but I was only 2 years old when they retired in 1987 🐣
@daveduce Hopefully, when they run The Parade of trains out of Brighton Beach sometime this summer, they'll hook up an R16 coupled with R10s, like they did one summer. I forgot what year it was.
@@danielwrynn4707 I hope so too! I’ll be looking forward to it!
We will never get the R27/30.
Cool job in accurately creating the 2 & 5 line, including the curves.
@@ACLTony I’m glad you enjoyed! This route was created by multiple people over the years! This 1982 version is one of my favorites!
Another excellent video of the subway back in 1971. I remember when I was 7 years old and I once rode an R16 on the EE train. I never even knew they sometimes ran R32s and 38s on the EE train. Keep up the good work.
@@danielwrynn4707 Glad you enjoyed the video! Amazing to hear about your memories of riding the EE R16, was it already painted silver and blue stripe or was it still red?
@daveduce It was silver and blue stripes. When they had the Parade of trains out of Brighton Beach one year, they had an R16 coupled with 2 R10s. The R16 was painted its original dark green and the one R10 was painted the original two toned gray and the other R10 was painted blue and white.
@@danielwrynn4707 ahh I have to make sure to catch these fan rides when they happen!
@@daveduce Definitely.
The quality of the graphics, including the smooth fluid motion, is stunning!
Glad you enjoyed! It’s a combination of the great textures the community has gathered/created over the years and the RTGI shader from Pascal Gilcher.
Amazing music video as always! My favorite part was the R38 and the different shades of red on the R27/R30. 👍
Ahh glad you enjoyed!! 🔥thank you for making this video possible with your awesome routes, great work sir!
Nice work Dave. Glad to have helped back then. At least you have the respect level and dignity to keep that going for old heads like myself and ilia. Enjoy.
Glad you enjoyed it! This video wouldn’t have been possible without you and illa’s help.
Glad I have helped in the past and that you were at least thankful to accept the knowledge of learning these old behemoths. It took alot off my hands as I finished the Unrebuilt 32 and 38. Enjoy.
@@GeneralHawk505 I truly appreciate it bro! I’m getting to see my favorite train from my childhood manifest in this sim and it has truly been an awesome adventure learning about them in all their different eras. This wouldn’t have been possible without your help, knowledge and resources man!
nice. if i may ask whats the name of that music so i can get it
Glad you enjoyed it! The name of the music track in this video is “GhostRain”, for now I only have my music here on UA-cam, but I will have it uploaded elsewhere soon!
@@daveduce do you know the artist?
@@shanejason1016 I’m the artist ☺️
@@daveduce Oh ok. got it.
Do you upload your music anywhere because it's really good? The Synth Melody you did for the remix of the cover of Last Night I Dreamt is so freaking good.
Thanks a lot! I appreciate your feedback, I’m glad you enjoyed it, at the moment I don’t have music uploaded anywhere else, but I will soon! I plan to keep uploading music here but I will also have a music only UA-cam channel, as well as sharing across other things like Spotify etc ☺️
Dude I love your music so much! Goes so well with the visuals! 10:59 and the zoom in at 11:06 are such cool shots!
I’m really glad you enjoy it! ☺️ trying to combine two of my passions, making synth music and making videos with the rich history of the New York City Subway!

Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Another great video of the R27s and R30s. The only remaining R30s left that I know of is the one in The Transit Museum and 1 on the Rail Adhesion train out of Coney Island Yard. I'm not sure what the car numbers are.
I’m glad you enjoyed it Dan! It has been a long time since I’ve visited the museum, I have to return soon !
@@daveduce Enjoy it.
Lowkey I hope this will release soon
This is an Badass video bruh!!
Glad you liked it bro! 💪🏽 Tryna put the finishing touches on the R27/30 overhauled!
My favorite subway car class of all time. I had too many fond memories of riding the R27/R30s as a kid. I rode them as redbirds as well as the graffitied sets. Awesome times.
That is amazing to hear I wish I could download your memories of it haha! I only got to see and ride the redbird version of the R30 on the C line as a kid. Became one of my favorite subway car classes of all time as well! I was probably only like 5 when I first saw it and I never forgot the impression it made on me!
Its impressive, i wonder about the pre-goh R27/R30.
Those are being worked on as well

I love the effort being made on the new R27/30s One question is, does this pack include the unrebuilt ones?
Yes and those are also being upgraded!
Amazing showcase of the new R30! 👍
Glad you enjoyed! ☺️
Another great video of the R27s and R30s.
I’m glad you enjoyed it Dan, it’s one of my favorite subway cars of all time ☺️
The R27s started their careers on the QB and QT lines in 1960 and the R30s began their careers on the RR train in 1961. Even though I wasn't born until 1964. They ended their careers on the C train in 1993. Anyway, always a good job well done 👏 ✔️ 👍 👌 😀 🙌 👏
See that’s why you the GOAT
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! 💪🏽
YEA YOUR THE GOAT
Perfect representation of the subway throughout the years. Hats off to you!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you! 💪🏽

Another excellent video of the subway. I can remember as far back as 1969, when I was 5 years old. At that time I remember the oldest subway cars on the BMT and IND, were the R1 to 9s. On the IRT were the R12s, mixed in with different types of subway cars. Now the oldest on the BMT and IND lines are the R46s and on IRT lines are the R62s.
I’m glad you enjoyed it, a pleasure to hear from you as always Dan! You’ve truly seen the best of the nyc subway in your lifetime! ☺️
@@daveduce Keep up the good work 👏 🙌 👍 👌

@@daveduce YEssir you know it
Holy shit you have outdone yourself with this one!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I was a bit skeptical at first, I was like I don’t know who would watch such a long video 😅 but I really wanted to get as much as I could into it, showing all the different eras I could!
That brought back my childhood memory with an R30 J train.
I’m glad to hear it! ☺️
@daveduce Keep up the great work, man. ✊🏾
Mesmerizing. But also eerie, because there are no people
Glad you enjoyed it even without the people haha! I hope the music at least fills that void 😅
Such amazing work here! Probably the best video I’ve ever seen! 😁👍
I’m so happy you enjoyed it! Thank you for making this video possible with your amazing AA,RR, and EE work in progress routes! ☺️
Must say, the graphics on this sim, are excellent!! 👍🏼🍒
Glad you enjoyed! I added an rtgi shader setting to give it a more immersive experience ☺️
Nice video man. I see you featured my R62a.
Glad you enjoyed! Thank you so much for the R62a, I had been wanting to make a video featuring every train from each era and I needed an R62 and R68 that matched the new standard that has been set in openbve!
Great work! Wow!
Glad you enjoyed! ☺️
