I feel like the 2x Effective damage screws over a ton of units

Changing Rebecca's affinity so she can get bonuses by supporting with Lowen is so clever. I'm probably biased as theirs is one of my favorite supports in the game. He's literally her knight in shining armor.

13:33 you're not gonna like what you find when you see Est's actual growths either. Some of her growths are actually lower than Catria's who will have higher bases and be obtained earlier with her main standout stats compared to other fliers being Strength in FE1, Luck and Defense in FE2, Strength and Luck in FE3B1, and then just Strength in FE3B2. Est's usually bring little to nothing to the team that you don't already have. They're not even objectively better than the other Pegasus/Dracoknights once they're fully trained so they're basically just replacement units except they need even more training. Also, Nino would just be a much better unit if the Sage class had a higher speed cap so her high base speed +high growth actually mattered.

Imo Leo is better than edward. He has reliable chip damage which is nice in part 1 and its pretty easy to get him enough exp to get to lvl10 and early promote. Then with his prf bow he will be super helpful in part 3 which are the hardest chapters in the game. Eddy on the other hand is so outclassed by Zihark its not even funny. He also has the issue of swords sucking at two range and not having enough skill to fight with wind edges with good hitrate. Using wrath on him more often than not leads to his own death as it opens up more enemies to attack him. If you stick with him til tier 3, he does end up being pretty good but the effort just isnt worth it.

Honestly, this feels like a pretty fair and balanced assessment. I don't agree with every choice necessarily but I like the thought that went into your choices. It's crazy how many units just aren't generally worth it unless you're after something specific (doing some kind of challenge or grinding 100% supports).

Putting Artur below Moulder seems a bit silly, Artur is basically Moulder but can fight from the start.

A worse class for Marcus? In any other game, 100% Sword Master would be awful. But this is FE6, and I assure you, Sword Masters kick a lot of ass in FE6.

Fire emblem blazing sword is literally the best game in the entire franchise. Im sad to know that not other game like it exist, which is why im disappointed in the whole franchise, plus the FE franchise looks awful in 3D graphics.

I just couldn't get over past weapon effectiveness line. Fellas, will playing the game as devs intended mess with delicate balance of the game? I understand that you meant that it would mess with the specific understanding of the game you had when making these balance adjustements, but the way it worded it just comes off as funny to me.

Played this game when it came out. I remember looking up how to unlock Lehran and wondering "how tf am I gonna do that?" I remember Haar just made the whole thing possible without much strategy. Never thought to look up tier lists for this game until now, and I'm glad my opinion of Haar is valid haha

My main criticism of the list is Moulder. I don’t think Moulder is the better Bishop, as his Luck stat is ABYSMAL, making criting and dodging so much harder, and it opens him up to crits as well, especially if a Myrm/Swordmaster is opposite him. Other than that, great list!

The previous owner had ALL of Marisa's supports unlocked 100% (she was the only character to have them all viewable) with a save file that had her stats completely maxed! In defense of aran,, units like sothe zihark and edward cant dodge those very accurate tigers and they will get 2 hit kod. So training aran is good value to hold somewhere and take 2 more hits like nolan does and do good damage in return. His bases suck but with training he wont get doubled by tigers and he looks absolutely badass when promoted. Since he caps 3 stats as around lv7 halberdier, you bonus exp him for guaranteed spd if you want him to use more but thats favouritism. I also really like micaiah because physic is very available and affordable and micaiah has great range thanks to her monstrous magic. For endgame its nice that you dont have to run another sage to heal thanks to micaiah. I also didnt know that tormod had mediocre growths. He had very fun when my soren and rhys were dead in no reset run and I had no healers in mansion. I equipped vulneraries, gave tormod staves, trained him in a very fun puzzle with use of ledges and chokepoints. And half of the chapter he started to heal people and he had good magic.
