I’m a septuagenarian on blood thinners. I bought two of the 3.0 hoodies in size XL, one in green to match my winter wool clothes and a tan one for my three season use to match my khakis. They work for me as a top covering over my pajamas when I go outside in thirty degree weather to feed my yard cats. I do use the pockets for my “essentials” like fascial tissues, dental floss, Olite Arcfeld flashlight, iPhone, chapstick, etc. For me, the XL provides ample room for layering. I am not in a city, so I don’t give two 💩💩 about trim fit. I’m rural in a mountainous region and have a bit of cold weather now and again. For example, I drove my Mule up the mountain to a friend’s cabin last night for dinner. I wore an intermediate base layer top, flannel shirt, down sweater and a down vest under my Baerskin hoodie which was my final covering on my torso. My head covering under the hood was a wool flat hat with folding earflaps pulled over a lightweight balaclava to keep the chill off my face when I was driving my Kawasaki mule. It does not have an enclosed cab. Since it wasn’t windy, I didn’t wear a shell over the hoodie. I wore lightweight base layer bottoms with a pair of wool trousers over them. Was around 16 degrees F. I was quite comfortable as we were on the front deck drinking beer that we chilled in a snow drift, and grilling chicken and sausages. I only need a sweater under my hoodie when feeding the cats with the temperatures are around or slightly below freezing. I do like the peak / bill on front of the hood to keep mist off my glasses and sun out of my eyes. The only ding I can give is on the green one…the zipper is a bit fiddly to get started. The tan one has no problem. I do have a couple of shell jackets and anoraks to go over them if needed. But the tight we’ve repels light breeze rather well. For me, it is true to size since I wear XL shirts, sweaters, jackets, etc. I’m 5’11” and weigh 174 lbs. I prefer a loose fit. I cannot abide snug or tight clothes. My normal pants are 36 waist though a 34 would be “fitted”. My winter pants are 40 waist so I can comfortably wear expedition weight base layers if needed. Overall, I’m satisfied with the product, and have not required customer service, so cannot comment about it. When I placed my order, I noted that there was an estimated ship by date listed on the order and the tan hoodie arrived a few days early; whereas, the green one arrived a few days later. Wasn’t anything of concern…they got here in a reasonable time. We have real sucky USPS mail delivery here.

Bearskin at time of purchase stated 10 to 14 days for delivery. I based the choice to go ahead with the purchase based on this delivery estimate because I was ordering it for a Christmas Gift. That was on December 10th and I knew that was cutting it close but I went through with the order, I did not receive any Shipping notification by Dec 23rd so I sent an Email asking when I could expect it and they did respond saying the Christmas season was busier than anticipated and that I can expect it by January 20th plus for my inconvenience I will receive a $100 credit towards any other Merch I buy. Well on January 19th I reached out again ad said I still haven't received a shipping notice and I received an Email with a tracking number so I went to the Link and it was Bogus so I called them out and today I got another tracking number showing it left China January 22nd. DO NOT BUY Anything From Bearskin Tactical EVER!!!!!!

Tomorrow will be a month and still no merchandise. Tracking is vague at best. I ordered this because I knew that we were going to have subzero temperatures here in the north country but still nothing. I ordered three hoodies and just wonder if I got scammed.

Have you tried Starbucks Via freeze-dried packets? They use a special technique to make it pretty freaking close to their store-brewed coffee. I had multiple a/b taste tests in several Starbucks when it first came out. It’s hard to tell the difference.

6 week delivery for me. Customer Service was responsive and very apologetic. Product is good, but nothing revolutionary. Overall, I guess I'm satisfied. Albeit, 6 weeks later.

I appreciate your candid personal comment about Baerskin. They truly seem overwhelmed and most likely started their business with good intentions but are now so mismanaged that they do not give two shits about their customers. Why? Because they are making money! Simple as that. They ship whenever they have inventory and too bad for the long wait times. Also because no one seems to know where their company is actually located to file claims with their local consumer advocacy nor legal recourse because they are based where? Switzerland, US, China, who knows?

I ordered one 1/2. Was in the dark until 1/13. Said it arrived in Illinois. I’m in Indiana. For some reason it’s in Kentucky now. Still borders Indiana, but it more than likely went through Indiana to get to Kentucky 🤔🙄. I’ll never order another thing from them 🤬😡

Ordered the 4.0 on Dec 7. It is now January 14th with no tracking information and the same standard email back whenever I inquire. This was supposed to be a Christmas present so now I'm just hoping for a Valentine's gift.

I ordered the 4.0 hoodie. And raincoat and couple of other shirts, 240.00 sale.11.29.24. After multiple emails, asking for updates, and tracking #, automated response very quickly, saying delivered, and other, saying ship within 7 days. Feel like I'm getting scammed, just got new email today, 1.12.25 , with tracking info ,should deliver today. 45 days later. I'm trying to be optimistic.

I have a number of well-known brand sleeping pads, I have 2 Big Agnes which are really good, and I am currently using the Lighttour R7.5.

BAERSkin Tactical's customer service is terrible - just about the worst I've ever experienced, I'm truly sorry to say. To make matters worse, they took my payment over six weeks ago, and I've still got nothing to show for except the charge on my Visa statement. For all this trouble, one hopes the product is worth it. Then again, how could it be? I recommend staying away from BAERSkin Tactical. They are not a good company, IMHO.

I really enjoy your videos. Right now it's winter. I'm recovering from a quadrupal bipas surgery and a stroke. Looking forward to getting out on some hikes this summer.

I appreciate your video...and I am one of those people who are looking for a place to vent...sorry! But, I ordered 2 hoodies online on November 19, 2024. I got two preliminary emails showing that they received my orders, and my payments had cleared. [ I bought one and got the second one even cheaper. so, yes, I was sucked in by their marketing strategies.] I will say that their commercials for their products were amazing. But after 3 weeks and Christmas was fast approaching, I contacted them electronically asking for the status of my orders. I got an email saying they had received my request but no answer as to when I might receive the products. I waited another week with no reply so I contacted them to cancel the orders and asked for my money back. I never heard from them again, and I never received the hoodies. I contacted them to let them know that I was going to report this to VISA but still no response. I still waited another two weeks with no response so I reported them to VISA. Thankfully VISA gave me my money back but how can this not be seen as a scam?! I was super patient and gave them many opportunities to make things right. I want to warn people not to trust this company.

I bought one which took nearly a month to get. The tracking is crap. At best this jacket is worth maybe $40-50. It goes to show that successful sales are all in the marketing, even if the product so, so.

I appreciate your review. Very fair assessment in my opinion. I was one of the people who had an issue in shipping. I think the main problem here is they say on their website that orders should make it to your door within 10 to 14 days from ordering it. If they were honest and said it could take 6 to 8 weeks, then I can choose whether or not to proceed with the purchase with that understanding. But they say 10 to 14 days, so when you are at day 14 and you haven't so much as received a tracking number or update of any kind it is frustrating and in my case I was beginning to think I fell for some online scam.

Baerskin Tactical scammed me. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCT. This is a Chinese company operating a shell company in the USA. There is literally no customer service although the claim they have it. I am now stuck with their crap that arrive from some place deep in China and they refuse to respond.

Ordered one early December. Haven’t seen it yet and can’t get an answer from email or voicemail. I will never buy another item from them. I think I got scammed..

I ordered 1 in october took a month to ship to the wrong address. Just got an email yesterday about a replacement is on the way and they are shipping to the wrong address yet again(same as the original) even after sending them 2 failure to receive package reports with my actuall address and my phone number listed on it. Absolute garbage customer service. I told them to keep it and refund my money.

If you work with Baerskin can you tell them to get a customer service department working? You’d think for a company that charges +$180 for jackets they’d have , I don’t know … employees .. a customer service department? I didn’t come here to say negative things .. unless the truth is “negative” . I’ve been waiting 5 weeks with no notifications or any response from customer service . Of course Baerskin keeps in touch with you they’re paying you for advertising and opinions 😂 There’s literally 1000’s of people struggling with this company . I actually run a small business so the shitty excuses for their bad customer service isn’t cutting it . I have 15 employees and our customer service staff is stacked and always available by phone during business hours. You talk to a real person if you want to . Lots of hype, YOU ARE BUYING HYPE, got mine and was warm and some what wind resistant, very very comfortable and easy to move in, lots of pockets and very well done as they don't allow things to fall out, no visor as shown in a lot of pop up ads and it alone is not water resistant , the zippers are better than most. Biggest concern, what chemicals are being applied in China, where they appear to be made. Let me explain, the hoodie smelled and we washed it according to directions and hung up to dry and it drys very fast which was impressive, but now its not so warm and wind resistant, so what are they coating this hoodie with and is it safe? I also have the rain cover and it also works very well and remains one of the most comfortable jackets that I have ever worn only next to my old Canadian airforce jacket, over all it is too expensive for what you get in my opinion, I could be wrong, we will see how long it lasts.

Ordered my jacket 4 weeks ago. Still no jacket. Customer service is awful. Not impressed with this company. Don't waste the money. Amazing how good the marketing is though. Getting non-stop texts about new products..... Too bad they can't hire someone to answer customers inquiring on where their order is. Sad.

Ordered from Baerskin tactical on Nov 30….its now December 31st. Finally got ONE of my packages. Emailed the company 3 times to find out the whereabouts of my order and received an email with a response saying they would get back to me and NEVER responded. Once Ive received all the packages I’ll post a review. I don’t expect much…so far customer service sucks and is atrocious!!!!!!!!!!! Let’s see how the product plays out. 🤦🏻‍♂️

2024 was a STRUGGLE for me personally but fun time hangs and convos with cool peeps like yourself definitely helped lighten the load. here’s to the 2025 upswing. cheers 🍻

WOW! this video was done 10 months ago. All the problems of NO Customer Support, phony phone number on their website and this invisible Stephanie on email with so much empathy for people feeling ripped off still exist today: 12/29/24. 1 star reviews on Trustpilot. Mastercard will refund my purchase.
