Jim, thanks again for this. Still a great video.
We appreciate the professional advice. see you all soon for Bare Root season
Just found your channel. Looks tasty. I will use these tips next time I'm using a poultry carcass 🇬🇧 🇬🇧
Great info man, thanks.
You’ll ruin your pan with that metal beater
true but it’s an old beat up one that I chose to use for stuff like this vs throwing away.
i love it!😊
What? No strarch (Rice or Egg Noodles)??? Add 2-3 cups of Rice or Egg Noodles the last hour of cooking the soup
I personally hate peanut butter & have issues with kidney stones. Still an interesting video! Having some PB for trade after a SHTF scenario would be pretty useful.
How to store egg crystals
here is the problem with these kind of products contrary to popular belief…( dairy, eggs etc) don’t really have a long shelf life compared to other foods, even packaged in # 10 cans with o2 absorbers. packaged this way from manufacturer ,eggs only have about 5 to 7 years under ideal storage conditions. I live in a hot climate and can expect the lower end of that scale to be my reality. All that said, I buy freeze dried foods in #10 cans from manufacturers, keep in climate controlled house, use up and rotate before they time out as it were. emergency food storage requires some management to ensure you have viable products in the event you are relying on them for survival and this is an example of the different products you might have having different storage life

What is the ingredients in Ova Easy?
Thank you for the very helpful information! I am a newbie canner and I had some questions about the initial set up process. You explained it very well. Thanks again!
glad it helped Jenn…..check out Suttons Daze Channel. She does a lot of canning videos you will find useful
This was very informative of the ins and outs of this product. great job!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for this, I couldn't figure out what the little rubber piece that came inside the pot that goes on the pressure gauge! If I would have watched this sooner it would have saved me hours of time.
Great video bro is there a list of all parts and tools used in this build looking to the same thing to my 870 express.
not a comprehensive list per se but all the parts and manufactures are mentioned in the video. There are so many aftermarket choices for the 870, it really comes down to personal preferences and budget. enjoy the build
@@thereadinesschannel7610 what is the tool that you used to remove the dimples from the magazine tube and where do I get one?
@@gandolfgrey5385 XS sights 870 detent swage tool. Can be ordered from their websight. Brownells has a dent removal tool that would do the same thing but at a higher cost
I love that stuff! I prep for the future, but I use this product very often. Just today I made lentils, and I added tomato powder, powdered dried onions, powdered dry bell peppers, and powdered dry carrots, as a spread for sandwiches. It was delicious! I also use the tomato powder to make tomato pasta (flour, tomato powder, water, rolled through my pasta maker.) I use it almost every day!

Augason's PB powder is too salty! What I do, I have a giant chest freezer, and I keep 25 canisters of Great Value PB powder. It's frozen at -15ºF and it will last basically forever in the freezer. If ever we're in a shtf situation, I figure I have about a year to eat it before it starts going rancid. I rotate though it every few years. And with the Augason's PB, if you stored the cans in the freezer, you could extend the shelf life by however long you keep it frozen. Aside from that, I had an 18 year old Mason jar of peanut flour (vacuum sealed with oxygen absorbers) that I opened up and it was still good, even though it had been stored in a forgotten corner of a kitchen cabinet, between 70ºF to 83ºF the whole time.
Great Instructional Video...Thank You !! The lid is very difficult to get on and back off again, what am I doing wrong ??
it’s difficult to say Debbie since I can’t see what your experiencing. if you line up the arrows on the lid to pot as shown in the vid, it’s not hard to twist it into place from there. I’m wondering if that is the difficulty you’re having ? The Presto manual said it was OK to wipe the seal with a. little vegetable oil and I did. maybe that would help or your seal is old and needs replacing possibly. I would contact Presto and see if they can provide any further I formation since this is a critical need to have working correctly.
@@thereadinesschannel7610 Thank you so much for responding...and YES.... I wiped the lid seal and pot top area with olive oil a few times and it worked out perfectly, now the lid scre goes on and off the way expected :)
Bro coming to us live from Skyrim. 😎
Excellent video. Thank you
How much water did you use for your test? Thank you for the great video
I used the recommended amount listed in the presto manual. I’m thinking it was three quartz off the top of my head.
Maybe the predators of the insects dont like the thorns. They only eat off the thornless plants lol
I have triple crown and 3 other varieties. It’s indeed the most disease and pest resistant, I think it’s becoz it has thicker and more hairy leaves. Flavor wise, sweetie pie is the sweetest.
I actually do the same thing except. I use carrots celery white cabbage potatoes mushrooms bay leaves and tomato sauce about 16 oz of that salt and pepper with garlic to taste
Where could I got one plant
I don’t know where you are located so is hard question to answer. try local nurseries and if able, there are online nurseries that ship in the continental U.S. Google Parfianka pomegranate plants for sale and will get options
Outstanding video presentation! I'm going to use my new 23qt Presto for the first time and you demonstrated exactly what I needed to know, regarding attaching the pressure guage, etc. You were very thorough in informing users what to do and how to do it in a safe manner. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!
Thank you for your instructional video!❤
glad you enjoyed it
5:38 into the video, you forgot to encircle yourself with a line of gun powder. To sanctify the work area you light the gun powder afire while dancing with a black cat raised above your head. Of course you've got to recite the words, "klatoo, varada, nictoe". 😁 Good information. I watched it twice. The only things are you didn't add a heat shield or , two, no bayonet mount. I live in The People's Democratic Socialist Republic of California, so I have to live vicariously through you American guys.
haha…..it’s changing fast all over the nation now
😎👍
🔥🔥🔥Is it made in China?
Awesome video, man! Thank you! It was a pleasure to watch you do the work and make your 870 a more functional weapon. Great tone and information!
appreciate the comments Ben
Love this idea. Now I can can the type of meat I like and not rely on what's available. Smart!
I canned beef chunks in this video …what are your favorite recipes or products to pressure can ?
Appreciate the comments
😄👍Good Stuff, Great Tips
thanks for the comments
I done basically the same thing to my old turkey gun i kept the wood furniture put a two round magazine extension an hacksawed the barrel to nineteen inches
you mispronounced Horrible Fright , no worries, we knew what you meant
I add the blooper footage for little fun
This is one of those tools I wished I had added sooner after seeing the benefit of using it. What is your method for starting vegetable seeds
I like making the stand out of PVC. Easier to store afterwards I suppose.
Where did u get the stock at
Fab defense makes it. Mako is the distributor in states and ordered from them. I don’t know that I’m sold on shock absorbing element….ymmv
A viewer recommended the gauge be oriented so the lid will have the pop off plug in the back. This is a good idea In the event the pot became over pressurized ….the pop out plug would be pointed in opposite direction from you.
This is a good video on getting into pressure canning. But PLEASE look at the box of your pressure canner to see how it should be assembled. The pop up goes in the front where you can see it. The emergency plug goes in the rear where it won't hurt you if it goes off.
The lid only has one hole that has correct flat sealing surface underneath for the pop up so it’s assembled the only way it can be. Additionally, the lid has the lockout orientation so the only option would be to simply turn the whole pot 180 degree on the stove which along the line of what you’re saying sounds like a good practice.
@@thereadinesschannel7610 yes! Spin the pressure gauge 180 degrees it will all come together.
Thanks for the safety tip @@1dgrdgr
Yes this is the only thing I noticed too. But other than turning the gauge around, this was an excellent video. Very informative!
carlsons 18.5 breacher striker industries fore end , fab defense folding stock with shock absorber aim sport rail GG&G saddle . welcome home!!
To help with hose access to the bottom spigot, rotate it 180 degrees.
Growing blueberries in containers is one of the easiest things to do and provides you with healthy sweet rewards
Getting professional information to provide to my viewers is important to me Rather than talk out my tailpipe to just put out a video. Bare root is the way to go if you are planning on putting in your own backyard orchard or a single tree.
What is your method to recharge raised bed garden soil?
The dimples aren’t there to just hold the assembly together they are put there so you CANNOT put a magazine extension on it to hold more rounds that’s why I refuse to own an 870
