They were right on the Comments page of the campaign, then removed. I think it was a CMON accidental promo release that started the issue?? The info is out there, if you want to look for it. Or, don’t, and enjoy the ride.

Thats awesome! I was not aware of how much material had been written about them in recent years. I knew they appeared in Young Justice, but didnt know they were in any comics post New 52. Ill have to look on the Infinite app and read those stories.

I put all of the dashboards in that one side well next to the map tiles, and put the coin tokens in those smaller pockets in baggies. everything else managed to fit in the various pockets on the top insert, and I took the punch boards and placed them under the bottom insert to left them up so the top insert was flush with the box top. Box closes all the way.

Thank you! I completely forgot that they were suppose to have those go retail but then something fell through and they reordered them in X-men. I think before multiverse they were able to get the retail partner set back up, which is why they didn’t reorder retail expansions during multiverse, and only offered Fantastic 4 and Sinister 6 because of the tie ins to Galactus and Carnage

Probably had more to do with United being a family friendly game. They may not have wanted to bring up Big Blue dying, and calling it Metropolis is better than calling it Superman Family. If family friendly is part of the reason it may mean a box call Suicide Squad may not happen, but a team deck called Task Force X might

Probably. After a year and a half of essentially reading KS update posts to the internet I realized halfway through the video that I wasn’t seeing dollar amounts in the updates. Makes it so they don’t have to update dollar amounts on the graphics themselves since the button on the main page says it. KS pages were always just one big image file that they had to update constantly. Kinda like the new Gamefound page layout a bit better

It was pretty cool. I was originally going to do a live reaction video, but quickly realized I was forcing myself to talk during the video and was actually, ya know, listening to the information being presented. So I turned off my recording about 30 seconds before they answered my first question. Wish I had left it running So I could have shown you all my genuine surprise

ya, I forgot about that! I do recall in one of the updates that they mentioned not being able to show what color her base was with they way they made the figure. She was an anti-hero if I'm remembering correctly.

Not sure, but we are only 4 days till launch. Punisher and Deadpool have guns in Marvel United, but they were super exaggerated, and Marvel may have had different rules.

DC has put that embargo across the board including toys. So don’t expect it. I just hope they don’t replace them with dumber things like Jason and crowbars. Just make him a brawler it isn’t hard lol

Glad you enjoy the KS update videos. I have been more and more aware that the details on certain components don’t show up as well in the videos, especially since I started the Buttons and Bugs series. In the last Marvel United video I did experiment with showing a scan of the special effect cards when they are played. Next time I plan on doing the same with the Master Plan cards. Also considering doing a small segment at the beginning of gameplays or as a separate video where I better explain the rules of a game where I can zoom in and better show specific areas so we aren’t trying to do it in the middle of the game.

I am also excited for DC United! The campaign should be fun and I’m interested in what characters are going to make the first season (and hoping for a second season).

The main thing that supports 3 bat-themed boxes, for me, is that they are doing it with DCeased. We are getting Gotham Knights and Arkham Asylum from the campaign and Gotham City Outbreak as a stand alone retail game sometime this year or early next year. I don't necessarily want them to come out with multiple Batman boxes, but with how popular the character is I don't think we can avoid it. I'm torn between Justice League Dark and Shadowpact myself. During the New 52 era there were a lot of different Justice League Books (JL, of America, Dark, 3000 & 3001, United, International). If the expansions are based around teams I would personally like to see them be called something other than Justice League "blank". With all that said, I can see Dark getting a box over Shadowpact purely due to popularity with the animated movies, but they did use Shadowpact for a DCeased expansion, so who knows. Some of the designs for characters are coming from the New 52 and Rebirth eras.

@rockshiregaming Ya, it seems to be all Rebirth at the moment other than the Hush announcement. I don't disagree about the Batman boxes, but that was a major critique on Season 3 and for a lesser part season 1. At some point, and I called over 25% of the overall, it's too much from one IP, and they do themselves a disservice when that happens. Cyborg Spiderman and Agent Venom making it into a third season instead of massively important and popular characters from other IPs.

I would love for team decks to be in the boxes, but since most of the gamplays out dont feature them I'm, going to assume that they are going to be like in Multiverse where they will have a box for retail team decks and one of promo team decks, and thats if they reveal them in this campaign. It might be something they do at the end of a third season so they dont have to keep printing new roster cards every other year.

Multiverse had multiple different formats for how it arranged expansion characters. I think the only season where most of the expansions were 3 heroes and 1 villain (not counting the KS exclusive figure) was season 1. But I think an issue season 1 had with locations is that the end of turn effects had a few instances of overlap with some of the core locations, which is why the x-men and multiverse expansions didnt have as many locations in their expansions (though I have never personally compared the locations in the boxes in that detail, just recall something said during the x-men campaign). I imagine the DC expansions having a wide array of figure counts with 1 to 4 locations per box.

Marvin, Wendy and Wonder Dog would be pretty cool. I can see them at some point adding them in a super friends box or something. The wonder twins and Gleek would also be cool. Maybe a couple of three packs with them all in it.

Also, Legion of Doom expansion ala Sinister Six and maybe Batman Who Laughs?

You are right 😁 Though I’ve known of the character the only thing I can think of that I’ve read with him in it was DCeased Unkillables and he was hanging out with a bunch of villains there. I think I was also getting him confused with Hyena from Amalgam Comics, as they do look similar. I will have to update my lists

All the expansions need a core box for basic components. Unfortunately United doesn’t have any stand alone expansions outside of Core Sets

Cool. Likes like it was update 130. I don’t think I looked at this update too closely. Didn’t realize that’s where they were putting the retail and generic equipment in the Multiverse core. I was probably thinking it would be more like how the team decks are getting their own boxes for retail and promo.

The tokens were offered during the x-men and multiverse kickstarters. I don’t think they are offered through retail.

I had guessed Green Lantern would have his own expansion with more of the Corps and Sinestro as anti-hero. I thought Martian Manhunter would be a good fit for the base box and put Cyborg in a Titans box.

If we are just looking at the M then it could be the Monitor and the Anti-Monitor, but I would hope they would save that for season 2

I feel that way about fantasy Zombicide. I would love to be able to go back and get the content from Black Plague and Green Horde, but all the expansion content is just too expensive.

I’d guess anti-monitor if they wanted to do a big crisis box to rival the Galactus box from Multiverse.

@@rockshiregaming That was my guess for a hypothetical Season 3, but maybe you’re right: they might want to pull out the big guns now to get people hyped. My Season 1 villain box prediction was Zod (with Ursa and Non), so I might still get to check that off my bingo card 😆
