I have been playing 18 wheels of steel - Pedal to the metal. that much i am sure i was able to make deliveries blindfolded, did never happen, or.. maybe sorta, i was often looking on my tv while running, ithink that game was better than ats/ets. In 18 wos pttm was i as example actually able to see andd chat with my employees, it happen that i had some race with them while we were loaded and some drivers was totally crazy on the roads, that game did not had that slow start but well the game was from 2004 There was more differences example the drivingdid i found too bad in ets and i found the flat nosed trucks weak in power (well in 18 wos did i had the truck with most power and it was top trimmed w/o mods) in ets did i had the cheapest iveco wirh evertything on basic installation (so i guess i cant really compare those trucks) later on did i upgrade my iveco to a really good truck with the best settings and it become dificulty to handle the truck in situations like small roundabouts, that made me to get another brand and last time did i had the best settng what i think, but what is best may be a personal taste (i like when the truck is angry and ready for fight) 🙂

Id take a remastered with a updated/ different character model

I actually find the unrestricted camera in modern RTS unimmersive so I'm waiting for something with Endwar's camera system to make a comeback. I'm saying this as a Wargame and WARNO player plus an Eugen fanboy. I think Eugen games can also do restricted camera well, just don't lock it on units because that movement can be nauseous.

Alright ima just say this since even though you mentioned your extreme bias because of NFS Underground, all the complaints you made on MC3 were sincerely your lack of skill on the game. San Diego is literally so easy that there’s a very small room for error. The tournament in which you get the Lexus IS300 can easily be used all the way to the mid-end section of Atlanta because of how effective the car is. Avoiding traffic without the special abilities is also fairly easy if you actually slow down a bit. Fine tuning is a thing in the game that allows your car to focus more on drifting, grip or a mix of both, allowing handling on your car or your choice. Tire profile, width and etc also play apart in the car’s handling so you clearly didn’t even take notice of that. Using the abilities definitely solves the difficulty problems as consistent use of em in tricky situations can allow you to make it out unpunished but I guess you disregarded that as well. Your biggest flaw in your review was your constant mentioning of NFS Underground 1/2, which is a severely overrated game. Compared to MC3, the black box NFS games were so limited as their races were so linear and the only staple thing NFS had was in MW with cop chases. Customization, exploration, soundtrack were far better in MC3 than in the underground series. Overall, you were obviously biased on NFS over MC3

This is why I'm so disappointed by the street racing elements in GTA. I always thought they should merge the two franchises together.

49:40 Actually actually by the 90s the Missouri has been retrofitted multiple times and incidentally irl the Missouri got its most important retrofit in 1986. Where it got basically modernized to be able to deal on its own with modern ASMs to a certain degree, also giving it ASMs itself. Also its really not that weirdd considering that the Soviet Navy was still quite far out when the Invasion happened as the US Navy still didnt lose any major battle in the pacific. So yeah...The Missouri showing up like that is neither weird, nor non-explainable when in fact its more than reasonable to send it along the (still safe) West Coast towards where the Soviets landed...A ship capable of intercepting ASMs and even launching itself some in a battlegroup as we even see ingame. As she isnnt the only ship on the shores of Pine Valley... Also little fun fact: US Warships main function in WW2 was Shore bombardment. Especially older ships, but generally anything with guns larger than 105mm was used for that. Most shells fired by allied Warships was towards land targets. So yeah Missouri being sent up there to rain 406mm HE shells down the coastline is as realistic as she did irl in WW2 ever since her entry into the war in early ´45. :)

Cossacks 2 is shit, I don't really understand how can you prefer it over 1. It's super slow, there is no real progress in the game, combat system is a way to complex. It's maybe cool and let's say more accurate, but definitely not fun to play. It was so boring when I tried it and it looks boring now from your review.

I wish Ubisoft either continued the story or had someone else do it.

I’ve thought about this game for many years. I remember playing it while I was wayyy too young to know what was going on, and I did think I was watching a cutscene a lot of the time. Somehow i managed to get pretty far into the game and that should say a lot about the combat and strategy in this game. But I’m excited to play this again just for nostalgia.

The tactical attachment used to be called the "Tac bullet" You were able to fire multiple darts at multiple enemies, then activate all the darts simultaneously with a key, and down everyone you shot. I think the tactical attachment is just a hold-over from that. Devs probably thought it was too cool to cut completely, but including it was ultimately pointless.

All their hands are slightly( too big ) which make them look friekish when they walk or salute .

The Battle for Pine Valley was the mission included in the Demo! I played that mission soooo much before getting the full game.

Far Cry 2. I am a person that does not care for power fantasy. In reality I appreciate and am thankful for the successes I have achieved and the skills I have and are still learning . Thus in gaming, I have no need to feel like an invincible one man army , I enjoy a challenge wrapped inside a well written atmospheric story ,and an immersive ,realistic setting, where your decisions carry weight and the story/environment hits you with unexpected curveballs/twists . I want a game to take me out of reality and transport me to a world I can’t experience in real life. (Such as shooting militarized Junta factions with an AK47 for instance) FaCry 1 and Far cry 2 had such hardcode ,complex AI (For the time) and a truly hostile and immersive world where you have to fight tooth and nail just to survive in, your guns jammed at the most inopportune moments , bush fires set by you become a hazard even to yourself, mutated chimpanzees trying to rip your face off, it is epic! Being dropped into the middle of a creature infested jungle with an assault rifle and only one 30 round magazine is thrilling. Likewise , to be surrounded on all sides by dangerous, competent enemies and a raging bushfire that is not so slowly creeping closer and closer as you struggle to unjam your 50+ year old AK47, just to realise you have to take your malaria pills in the middle of it all is excessively thrilling to me. When a game places you on the defensive, you have to fight mercilessly just to survive ,with by far the best healing animations of any game, that is peak gaming to me. When you are forced to use your intellect and wits, to think outside of the box to improvise,adapt and overcome , that is exhilaration. When you do manage to improve your skills , you succeed and you stand all dirty, bloody, cut up and bruised ,but triumphant at the end , that is euphoric satisfaction. With Akasia thorns blocking your way and slowly doing bits of damage that you have to cut away with your machete, still using the Blood diamonds / arms dealing as the backdrop (Since that is still relevant today) as well as conflict over clean water sources . A Far Cry set in the Sahel ,you, a French foreign legion mercenary , helping local Dogon warlords, the Doza ,fighting against the invasive Muslim jihadists would be epic. Just like they are doing today.
