I would have to agree. I honestly shouldve used a different title bc ppl nowadays think calling someone JL= fell off. But yah, def high cost team. agreed, imo, hsr has done a pretty good job in keeping power lvls “relatively” similar, so i doubt there would be any jump in power anytime soon. i “think” in scenarios where u have slow dps and an AA, sunday and sparkle probs around the same lvl.

nice :) my friend asked me what insight mode was, which i ngl dont exactly know what it is besides that it made the mode easier. i got to tier 100 so didnt rly need the 2x xp

@@yun3_ Oh, Insight Mode Increases final dmg dealt by allies by 50%, and decreases dmg taken by 30%. When entering a domain, receive 1 random blessing, 1 random curio, and 100 cosmic fragments. Pretty useful to speedrun through the lower protocols and get the final title at V8.

@@FaizFS3 But the thing is Aglaea isn’t Boothill. She isn’t a Hunt + Break Effect centric unit. She, other than RMC, is the first DPS introducing a new path since the game has started. I’d argue Rappa is more like Boothill, who was sandwiched between Feixiao/Robin & Sunday/Fugue. You could argue Herta is overshadowing Aglaea, but like we know how HSR operates. The current MOC is for those two. But what happens when it’s not? The doomposting surrounding Aglaea isn’t even because of her own kit like it usually is for most units during beta. Her doomposting is around a whole other character (Castorice) that doesn’t even have a finalized kit yet. She could play totally different from Aglaea, but because powercreep is a prevalent topic in this game, folks completely disregard her SPD/AA value as a DPS & look towards a unit that isn’t even drip marketed yet. What happens if I get Castorice, & 3.5 are the potential Fate units who end up being insane up to 4.0? I cant imagine anyone losing a 50/50 on a limited Fate character & they never get a rerun. THAT would break my heart 😅

the changes to the eidolon may be worse screenshot wise cuz it doesnt have the defense shred for e1, BUT, it actually would be better because u likely can permanently stay in her enhanced for if u play it right(no losing speed stacks), and if u do, u also can get extra turns to make up for the lost dmg :)

@yun3_ i disagree. Energy requirements is important i Go with that but the previous eidolon let me ignore all the defense Like over 90% - 100% of the enemies defense. And thats for every Attack enhanced or Not. Having this is rediculous stronger than the Energy... I only mentioned that this is Not a BUFF IT IS a slightly NERF to her...and makes me skip her maybe castorice e1 IS better

@@leamaron i am curious where you are getting all that defense shred from. sunday's e1 should only provide 16% def shred while aglaea on average maybe 28%ish. Unless ur pela as the second support? I could see how this may be slightly worse for your case if u do have a lot of def shred, but for most other players, i believe they would greatly benefit more from the energy :)

@yun3_ äh sunday shred more defense for the memosprite! 40% definitiv shred for the mem! And aglaea 3 Times 14 % equals to 42% okay thats 82% Not 90% but yeah 82% definitiv shred!

@@Liamoralex going down the checklist, 1. is always “do u like the character”. if u like em, go for it regardless which one. for these 2, both herta and aglaea will be strong so u cant rly choose wrong imo. 2. if u dont really care and worry about ur account, itll be, do u have that elemental coverage? If u have lightning but no ice dps, then herta probs the way to go, and vice versa. 3. now can u even use the character? imo, herta ideally has a robin or rmc. seeing how ur gonna get both, herta is a fine choice. the tricky thing is now with aglaea. seeing how u have sunday, u def can play it. without either sunday/HH, imo probs pretty unplayable. Now idk how much worse it is without hh bc not too many showcases out rn. So hopefully u can find some gameplay showing. IK with e1 Aglaea, energy should never be an issue

@ I love both characters, for therta’s personality and aglaea’s aesthetics. I currently don’t have either ice or lightening coverage because I speed ran this game as a beginner and am now stuck in endgame. Out of my two teams, only firefly’s side can handle with relative ease so I’m quite hesitant to transition to rmc due to hmc and me not having fugue. Although I am F2P, I already have some money put aside whenever I decided to make purchases. However I don’t feel completely justified investing in two new characters in 3.0. The only reason stopping me from comfortably only getting therta is I worry that castorice won’t be needing Sunday as her BiS.

@@Liamoralex ur in quite a pickle ;-; It rly sucks bc we wont find about castorice's kit until 3.1 at the earliest, which makes it rly hard to plan for. I assume she'll be a dps seeing how her weapon is a scythe, but that's just an assumption. FF def needs hmc seeing how u dont have fugue which means it'll be kinda hard to transtion to rmc. i think unless castorice doesnt use crit or energy, sunday should still be a decent unit for her IF she is dps. seeing how even acheron can perform very will despite not even using energy, i think u should be fine 👍

Probably not.. from what I have seen in v5 testing agalea still seems to be better, but neither are actually all that OP actually.. in currently aglaea without her e1 suffers greatly, and she needs huo huo plus sunday plus e1 that keeps her GM always up plus it keeps her ult 100% up as well the changes buffed her closer to her v1 which was I think 2 cycles better on moc 12 than jing yuan though jing yuan would've cleared a bit faster with the same team comp plus a bit more cdmg so its hard to say, but these were also more or less ideal conditions for both characters and very good stats something most players probably won't have, aglaea needs at minimum 160 speed and top tier would be 180 or so, Therta is more friendly overall but her e1 and e2 combo are still quite massive as well though most showcases are e0 not e1 nor e2 of course she doesn't perfectly have her entire team unlike aglaea so with tribbie we and so forth we don't know what will happen with Therta. Currently, neither are really something so broken that they entirely outshine all options, aglaea mostly, therta has the advantage of being ice as there aren't as many contenders.

@FaizFS3 from what i last saw definitely seemed that way. Not in moc though as the energy regen in moc with Sunday should be enough. But even then I'll have to rewatch and check multiple videos for v5. I've seen a couple times garment maker drop or ult state drop usually it's not an issue I don't think, might take an extra turn to activate on that new turn with Sunday huo huo. But the way she's designed really seems to be she needs her e1 and without huo huo even more so.

she keeps all the stacks so its ideal to keep her in her supreme stance :) if it does wear off, she gets to keep 1 stack after she summons GM and gets another when it attacks after its 100% AA

yah in indeal scenarios, u could probs get crazy inspiration stacks with the previous one. the new one at least lets u get 2 guaranteed, which helps for like single/blast stuff scenarios

So basically, every character has a beta period which beta testers and i assume hoyo employees try the characters. I assume based on feedback, they have the appropriate changes for the beta. these betas come in versions which often go from 1-5/6. each one is roughly a 5-7 days iirc with v3 often been the one with big changes. u can view all the changes with this link to homdgcat’s website homdgcat.wiki/sr/change

I actually believe Blade, Arlan, andJingliu def have potential if there was anything related to teamates draining hp. They could just add a new sustain for hp related shenanigans and be like "gain OP buffs if teammates get their hp drained"

@ We’ll just have to see. I personally think atm, the end game is slightly easier than the previous one. Tho the HP is increased, we also deal more dmg, with the pure fiction buffs just making ppl do insane dmg. This moc has roughly the same hp as the last, but the trotters ACTUALLY do some dmg :D

The BP Erudition is so nice, tho assuming u just get 1 copy, geniuses’ repose may be better IF u have it at higher superimpositions. I would say it just comes down to the weakness, but for the most part, i believe the 2nd eru simply needs to be fast to get as many stacks for herta, so smol herta and serval should be similar. i think aventurine should be better as hit fua can hit multiple times and generate more stacks IF ur team is getting hit alot

With her e1 you don't really need huo huo as you see in the vid the the energy buff tho still nice if you do get her she's fine somewhat without her now unless you don't have Sunday either but at the end of the day it is your choice

Current moc its starting show up enemy with weakness lock ability. (As i predicted before) & has mechanic that favor erudition or character with energy. If they do really care about money(sure they are) They will slowly but surely kill break team to sell other character. Because matter of fact hp inflation its mean Nothing to boothil & firefly because they deal huge dmg as long they can break the enemy tougness.

Honestly Pela's even worse at getting stacks for Acheron than Sunday, at least with an e0s1 Acheron. Sunday can guarantee 2 extra stacks, which is great with a 135/134 setup, on top of Jiao qiu's already insane stack potential. Sunday also is SP neutral (positive with sig) and from my experience he allows her to do way more dmg and is more comfortable overall The howling caskets that you have to attack are pain with him though but if you can just wipe them fast enough shouldn't be too much of a problem 😭😭

@@irlinaka2754I’ve “heard” ppl say that rmc is very competitive with robin, but robin may slightly edge out, though i dunno by how much. if u go robin, u gotta go spd herta which isnt optimal ive also heard, as you likely should go atk boots

I think you should pull for Aglaea and E1 Robin.

If you have acheron and jiaoqiu, then you already have a good electric dps. Just save up for a much better summon dps coming in 3.2, mainly castorice. It's good to pull for big herta as you mainly just need characters like RMC, Serval, Tiny herta, and a 5 star sustain. RMC and Robin are neck and neck when it comes to helping out with Beeg Herta's dmg, as they both roughly come out to 2 million. Also, Jade isn't old. If she is, then Firefly would be too, so would aventurine. Your "Old character" standards probably imply the fact that they aren't in the current meta, but Jade is topping and will still top PF.

@wollywogholder3313 I have Acheron, but only Welt and Pela as her supports. I haven't invested heavily in her as I should. About Jade, is she worth pulling for?. Maybe I should be waiting for the next erudition character?. Also, if Castorice comes out, will I need Mydei and Tribbie for the ideal team?. About that, it can be possible that she attacks heavily in dependence of the total amount of Hp that the team burned. If that is the situation, I will need Mydei. My main team right now, is Yunli, e1s1, Huo huo, Robin, and Sunday. Should I skip the entire patch, and pull from 3.1 and onwards?.

@@taxiarchismaximidis1 jade is pretty good, but if the herta was T0 then jade would be T0.5, pull the herta, just use serval/herta as her 2nd erudition unit, they're pretty good. we only know that Castorice is an S+ Dps and that she will have a memosprite so we don't know much info about team comps so can't answer any of your questions regarding that, I'm only saying that Aglaea and Acheron deal equal amounts of damage when with good supports. Also I highly recommend not pulling for eidolons unless you like the character, more characters is definitely more valuable than more eidolons. since you have the BIS yunli team, Ithink you're going to be fine skipping stuff.

I will say i usually just go over a kit and actually never do like “calcs” in the sense of an actual scenario/run. I just feel like I will mess up the calcs somewhere when doing a theorized run. Though aglaea is kinda like death by many cuts vs herta/acheron who do big nukes

In terms of gameplay and actual BIS teams aglaea is basically a critDPS firefly which lets her use busted supports like Sunday and robin. She’s about the same (IN HER BIS) but yea- death by a thousand cuts

​@@yun3_ i definitely need the luck after I impulsively pulled for Fugue because gamba addiction- anyway, don't really regret it tho because I did a dumb run on MoC 12 with HMC, Fugue, Ruan Mei, and Gallagher and managed to clear it in 10 cycles (JY hypercarry pulled through with their 3 cycle on Svarog). Amphoreus is huge with lots of treasures and side missions and stuff so hopefully I have enough pulls for both queens especially with the new events too. I currently have about 30 pulls rn after Fugue so... Hopefully early pity with Jade and Therta. If I can pull for Black Swan, Sparkle, and Jing Yuan LC in 2.0 then I can also pull two 50/50 wins in 3.0 😤😤😤 Ah I can understand why you don't play. And then there's me juggling HSR, ZZZ, WuWa, Infinity Nikki, and Love and Deepspace 😂😂😂 (I just do my dailies tho and then leave cuz I still have school stuff to do). You should definitely give WuWa another shot tho if you have the time. It got really good. The exploration is much better since they have like a to-do list thingy and can change genders for Rover and then other QoLs. Lots of improvements since launch.

That’s super strange bc they’re the only boss in the mode with 0 CC resist. The only thing you need for dissociation should be the 3 star remembrance blessings. I will say for the boss fight itself, you are mostly relying on the break to freeze/dissociate blessing. the 6 atk to freeze blessing may take a few too many hits in the mode where they hit like a truck. hope this helps :) will fua if you have anything else👍
