i think this is the consequence of easy living and men not going to war. they get comfortable, sit on their asses all day and before you know it, they start complaining about shit like this that nobody in their right mind would care to complain about, like the gender identity of the enby altmer baddie from ESO i think the elder scrolls series would also genuinely benefit from some homophobia, because i don't think it's interesting to handwave it all away for the sake of safety. the rampant racism and classism with literally zero sexism or homophobia makes it a little goofy. like, rape is a central theme in these games and is pretty much the reason two of the races even exist (bretons and the reachmen), but there is full gender equality? like why? it's also a big miss to differentiate the races and cultures by their reactions to such things, like gender non-conformity or non-hetero sexualities. i'd like to headcanon that most altmer would be accepting to some degree, but find it childish and to be a phase, as such frivolities after age of maturity wouldn't be well accepted by the higher class, and maybe argonians of certain tribes could ostracize those who do not choose to join the mating ceremonies because of their sexualities, and some races like bretons and imperials could still be largely accepting. it's just lacking major flavour in that department. also i wish you could ask tanlorin about the lack of accent and have them say something like "i don't dress or act like an altmer either. i picked it up [wherever they lived for a while], and it stuck." or something lol

I like how you mentioned lotro in the beggining, and then picked on the crownstore. Well at least the crown-store is stable. And every game will sell you expenssive mounts and outfits and unnecessary items to the game itself but oh so enticing for the beauty of it all - and that's how they survive economically. Need I tell you how items earned for free in lotro have later on been added to the shop without any possibility of them being ever again earned in game ? ( yes I'm talking about the black keys). Or how about the price-changes on their own lotro-shop , and drastically so? Imagine having payed a few hundred of that currency at one time only to see it become dirt-cheap after a few years (tortoise stone ). I do not find that fair. And I won't start on the actual chapter prices for that game, which tripled for a deluxe edition - something which eso holds steady too. And if you must riot about the crown crates - remember the endeavours. Compare their drop to lotro points earned from deeds and you may find eso also fair. The only annoying thing about the crown-store is the fact that we have no actual dates about crates rotation or other "limited time" items ( like houses and certain mounts) to be able to do our maths in time, but .... boy this "unfairness" you speak of is totally untrue. Also nothing is lost - everything returns sooner or later. Always. Some things later then others but ... always. But for one last lotro-eso comparison, the former's mounts for the longest time are character bound. So if you have 10 chars and want for each at least 1 store-mount, good luck empying your pockets there. Eso anything? - Account bound. Do consider a little bit before calling it out.

its sad that this would of been peoples first viewing of ESO but its even sadder its not the first time theyve had a terrible Promotional stream. I cant imagine how many potential new players have been put off over the years.

I hate to mess up your work but when you enter a zone your chance of gathering high is increased for a short time, to promote zone travel. This is the opposite for fishing. The logic was that the more in a zone increased the resource node max, and the amount of fishing nodes. But then everyone was staying in the starter zones so they added this and never removed it.. They wanted gathered spread out so fishing would not be such a pain. Later on they increased fishing hole spawn and added the extra CP perks for fishing and even the fishie foods. But the hidden resource proc bonus stayed. Having master gathering perks means you'll see more for, example, platinum nodes in a zone for like 10 mins. Then going to another place like Mirkmire to gather plants. They added this a LONG time ago and its still a thing. Without gathering CPs and speed builds you don't really notice this. EDIT: it is based around the CD time for a wayshrine at its max gold cost to reach the minimum. I don't think that the cp wayshrine reduction effects the overall hidden timer. Another fun fact: there used to be a TIMER for getting perfect roe after one was received, which was lifted when they added the ability to fillet a multiple stacks at once in the cooking stations.

Tanlorin is fun but I can't be bothered by the stupid cat.

I am conflicted, with my opinion around Tanlorin. On the one hand, I love that they represent a valued minority in humanity. On the other hand, they are a blatant political real-life insert, to make players think the devs are cool, modern, and open-minded. Yet, where does a non-binary character fit in an ancient fantasy setting? Nowhere. It just breaks the story and takes you out of the fun.

I have been really enjoying your videos. I got back into eso about 2 weeks ago and have been trying to figure out a grind I can do that will keep me wanting to play the game so I decided to work on leveling 9 characters and try to do my daily writs on all 10 of my characters! Also I know it might be a crazy suggestion, but after you are done with your motifs it would be cool. if you tried to get all of the furnishing patterns in the game at least on 1 character. i know it can get super expensive but the housing side of ESO is an entire different game

I think you would be better off as a trader. Just and only focus gaining humongus amounth of gold as a guild master and buy your way trough achievments. You can spam research scrools&motifs, buy all trifecta achievments etc.
