Quick addition: I don't need 1638 pages anymore because I have already made progress towards that goal. However it holds true that 13 motifs for 9 characters sums up to 1638 pages.
I still think research timers should go in the opposite direction, the more traits you research the lower time it should take for new traits to be researched on that particular gear. So first research should be 30/27 days and the last one 5hrs or so. This makes more sense because the more you research an item the more knowledgeable you get with that item. Also, if you are starting out with a new character, they have other things to do than to just come back every 5-6 hrs to the crafting table. Also they are probably carrying a few items to be researched in their inventory and don't have more than one research slot available.
Major grats! I'm currently working on completing 19 alts with research. It's been a good few months but they're all at least 7 trait now!! Great video as always.
Now I'm not using the scrolls really. But I just recently was able to acquire all 4 of the grandmaster tables and I have 3 sets in so far. Going to just work on it slowly because I'm getting so many sealed writs now!
I am working on my crafting at the moment too and seeing you with a 93% motif completion for your main character is simply unbelievable. I had spent quite some time and millions collecting motifs and I am nowhere close to that number.
Thank you! Honestly most of my gold went into this at some point. I'm still holding out on a few motifs since 127 for example should still drop in price :)
Hey we crafters have to spend our excess gold on something! Costs a lot to get GM stations filled. 5 months is done with research pages and maxing the station's research. Keep them researching and out of the pubs.
well now I HAVE to subscribe to get updated on this when you get the numbers! Not sure how motivated I would be to learning motifs on all my toons since I have 20 but probably at least the cheap ones maybe. Recipes, runes and alchemy traits I have a bazillion of all resources to spare.
Very interesting analysis for crafting. 1 GM all motifs, 19 MCs i've been playing awhile LOL I have to have toons learn motifs and recipes, praxis, etc just to clear inventory space.
Heh, I'm like #69! Nice! Glad you're doing a lot better, in-game and out of game! \o/ Good to hear you cheerful! I need to work on getting this on 39 chars on EU, 39 chars on NA. I got a lot of work cut out for me! LOL. Mine on main account is: 22,263 done in the past 100.94 days. Not sure if that's PC-NA only. I will check!
Played since beta. 2 Grandmaster crafters. All 18 other toons are effectively GM other than the 50 motif level (so yes, they all know all runes, alch components, etc plus >=25 14-chapter motifs). Got so bored I effectively quit crafting :p. 99% burned out + space issues on account of "hoarder" 😂 9 traits (without the research pages) takes just under a full year, btw. Did that repeatedly over the years, as new classes were introduced. (Excel ftw! 😝) Think I'm insane? I'd not argue too hard ... but am aware of folks who have at least claimed to have done this on multiple accounts!
Appreciate the dedication my man! You got your grand master crafting stations maxed? Can't imagine doing this again personally. You barely have time to play the game when you do this all the time haha. And I HAVE time
@CasualLamer yes, crafting stations were maxed the day after that went live (I give it a day or so "just in case ZoS goes whoops")! Retired, but spending more time on healthy things these days! Heaven help me if they ever release ESO v2 🤔
That is a lot of grinding… Looking forward to the master writ video! I have been doing the same thing except for on 20 characters however I do not buy the research reduction scrolls and I play on PS NA so I don’t have all those fancy tools to show me what character still needs to learn what. I am 42 Motifs away from finishing my main character and I’ve only started motifs on three other characters. Have you finished your grandmaster crafting tables?
Well, I have 21 chars with all the traits researched and 19 others are starting to learn 8th traits on blacksmithing and clothier, and it will take them like 9 months to finish... I had real inventory issues because of master writs back when i was doing dailies on all 40 chars even with ESO+, lucklily thats gone after the economy crash. Welp, good luck on your grind. P.S. my main main knows all the motifs except for last 2 or 3 ones and my second account main knows something like 100+ motifs.
Wow I never looked it my lazy writ stats. Mine have been tracking since Monday, June 29, 2020. It says I've done 61,269 writs in 1615 days. It's not completely accurate though because I've ruined my addon settings a few times and had to paste in older copies I made as backups. Around the time they changed how jewelry works I thought I noticed my researched toons were getting more master writ drops. So I did research on all 20 except for nirn. Thanks for letting me know my hunch was right.

Good luck on your grind! I highly recommend using scrolls though. It essentially halfs the time for this grind
Congrats! The definition of dedication!

@@SirBanana1992 I have completed 3 full books for 9 characters in the past few days that weren't even on the to do :|
Glückwunsch! Congratz! You are crazy, haha! I do the research on 4 chars now and even that ist extremely annoying. Props to you!
Once research is complete, those skill points are free to be allocated to other lines as required.
True! Forgot to mention that.

Nice 😎
Your grind doing this with so many chars is as usual completely leaving me in the shadow lol
Time to make 10 more characters lad
You gonna donate me 15,000 crowns?
@@CasualLamer 20,000 and you got yourself a deal
Why 20000? XD
@@CasualLamer You're playing a hard bargain. 25,000 but that's my last offer
In THIS economy??

Far from it! I keep selling the mats to make gold so I never have enough to get big chunks of writs done haha
But that's a grind for another day:)
Grats on 1k :)

Crazy dedication! Personally that'd be too much for me. Wouldn't be able to create any content haha

Now its time to hit 3600 CP on all platforms including NA and EU 😊 im getting ny 5 stars on EU now since im done with NA on all platforms
The 3600 grind will start at some point I guess buuut I won't start on NA I'm sorry. Rather take the time create content for y'all ;P
Of all the grind involved in this game, trait research was the worst for me. I did it on 1 toon, and that was enough.
I completely understand that. Just do what's fun for you :)
this is interesting. i only have 1000 writs done but a lot moore dreugh wax earned
Oh really? What's your rate?
@CasualLamer I said a lot but it's only a lot in comparison. I got 1 in 5 for wax.
@@CasualLamer ok I just checked your vid back and 1 in 114 is absolutely criminal. I've gotten 29 wax from 146 clothing writs
It doesn't say that. In the video I conclude I get 1 in 3.33
@CasualLamer oh I must've looked at it wrong lmao the stats I was looking at in the beginning were not adding up
Damm those are some crazy stats man
It will hurt a little to reset it ;_;
@@CasualLamer haha yeah. Best to take a screenshot for remembrance🥲
Holy shit dude, why? Congrats tho
I liked the grind and kinda wanted people to know that I at least kinda know what I'm talking about :b
Cool now max out your char slots to 20
I specifically chose not to do that :D
@CasualLamer good choice, it's a pain to keep up with
