There’s usually holes in the flywheel, find some bolts to suit and attach a length of angle iron. Then try the back n forth , eventually it will moove- snapping the flywheel bolt is not advisable
A lot of videos I watch with a seized mother when they put oil in the cylinder the don’t tilt the engine back to let the oil go around the hole cylinder. Common sense tells you to do that
Once again I take my hat off to you, you pulled one out of the hat with this one young man and you should be proud of the result. As for passing the inspection, I think you might be in for a surprise 😊. Now I'd like to thank you for some excellent posts this year and keeping me entertained. I'd like to wish you and your family a merry Christmas and an even better new year, and have a cold one on me, cheers. Gary 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Great work bud , now the Rx 7 or the racing lawn mowers
Looking good. Please keep going and putting up videos. I really enjoy watching the things you do. I'm in USA.
Great video mate that's one nice looking gq
She looks great Tim! now you're at a point you can drive her at least. Next is the Canopy, Right? The deck looks nice too!
Hello Bud still love you Videos Keep them up Later R
Hey Tim, are you planning to put stake pockets or something to hold sides on the bed or is it simple going to be a flatbed load carrier? Im thinking of 2 reasons myself, first being practical reasons for having sides and rear to a tray... but the second reason is to hide even more of the wavy metalwork that you're not happy with. All chat aside, that is a bloody amazing machine you have created and that finished tray WOW!!!! At first when I say the weathered wood I was like hell yeah mat or satin varnish would be a winner... Then I saw the oiled boards and there would have been way too much grey and the oils wood looks stunning. Credit to you and your dad, that's a f'kin amazing result as a project for you both. Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to you, your awesome Dad and your respective families.... happy hangovers from Scotland
Do you realize how much "talking" you do lately? Theres very little actual doing stuff and way too much talking and planning. Sorry to sound "offensive" but Im just letting you know it ruins your vids to an extent.
Is it my eyes or is the bar between the stacks lower on the left than the right? To bad if it is, looks fn cool Tim well done mate.
You won’t wanna put anything on the tray to mess up the bendy boards now
Lovely job Tim, Greta will be after you for polluting the air 😂😂😂
very well done. Looks great!!!
Cool man good job👍👍💯💯💯💯👍👍
She lives😁 great job Tim. Wishing you and your family a happy Christmas and a happy New year.😊 looking forward to seeing your videos in the new year.👍
Good effort getting it done in time for Christmas relaxing, I'll be watching in the new year hope you get some well deserved rest 👍 Have a merry Christmas 🎄
Wooohooo, I was just wondering with huge aperture of the stacks, is they a risk of water collecting at base. Was thinking a check value if extreme weather, hoods if parked up for a while. I don't know it was just a thought while watching. Also now the tray looks so good, maybe metal strip protectors as it'll be a shame to bust it up. Also some ratchet strap rings, God you could go on and on 🫣. Any hoo Tim great effort this year with boat and Rexy well done to you an dad, enjoy the festive break Happy Christmas to all the family. Very much look forward to the projects in the new year, especially you fellas going out in the bush & getting pissed as parrots by the fire 😂 👏👏👏👏🫵👍🇦🇺🇬🇧
What do u do for employment, you are a very handy dude.
Nice job, tray is awesome, stacks look great - great result!
Awsome job! Merry Christmas from the UK... keep safe pal, cheers.

Great episode Tim . I’m really enjoying your content . I am very keen to see more off the bmw as well! Is that still happening in the future once the patrol is finished?
Yep that project is still happening and hopefully sometime next year. It will be up on the other channel when it does happen as its all to do with the boat.
Hi Tim, what's with UA-cams notifications? I've been subscribed for years and never get a heads-up when a new episode is uploaded. This episode just appeared in the YT thumb nail gallery. I'm pleased to see all is well. Cheers
Hi mate, have you clicked the notifications icon ( the little bell) next to the subscribe button? Even if your subscribed i dont think youtube actually send you the video if you dont have bell icon clicked
With the back wall as warped as it is, it would drive me insane, If I were you I would cover it up with a headache rack, with a cut out for the window. But that's me, as canopy will help hide it but the real issue is that it is secure and well supported, which it is. Those warps can be hammered out with s hammer and a steel body block but it will ruin the paint. One thing that occured to me is when welding, perhaps adding some sort of heat sink of the other side might help reduce warping, like a constant stream of cold water from a well, if you have one since water from underground can be quite cold. and that way the welding on the one side will be hot but the outside is constantly having it's heat wicked away by flowing water. but I have no idea if that would work or not. other than that, you did a great job on this so far, mate! Keep up the fantastic work, I can't wait to see the deck once you're finished with the woodworking, plus the pipes back on and then the canopy after that. Putting some sealed storage boxes under the deck will be a great idea, and I can't wait to see how you make those. Do your best to make them as rugged as possible since they will take a serious beating being as close to the wheels and under the deck as they will be. if I might recommend something I would suggest a serious undercoat on them to reduce the likelihood of getting banged up and damaged from rocks and such. Something like those spray on box liner materials that are like a Uber-tough rubber compound. plus making them waterproof so they don't fill up with water if you decide to put the snorkel to to good use.
Thanks mate, while the back wall is shocking and very disappointing once i make a canopy to go on the tray you wont see it at all. The toolboxes will have to be made very solid like you say they will cop a beating.
You could do a wooden back wall to match the bed and ending just under the back window .
I think a headache rack with the timber could be in order
Man it’s looking cool AF Tim. Should call her the “Timernator”
Great work Tim never worry about the back wall sure it's like biscuit tin you look at it and it twists and pulls all shapes
We look forward to every new video Tim. Keep them coming mate.😁👍
Your a great jack of all trades, mate. Be aware that stainless steel is prone to shearing if using self tappers into steel. I would look at stainless machine screws, tap the steel frames, for the screws.
Thanks mate. As for the SS i will be drilling and tapping the treads to use M6 countersunk screws so hopefully not issue with snapping them off
Tim, feel your pin, however, as you said your critical coz you know the imperfections are there, but hey, an amazing transformation, be very proud of it, i am :) Frank from salamander bay lol
Cheers frank, we still have to catch up for a beer soon mate.
Nice video Tim, thank you! And Dad's awesome mate.
Thanks mate
I liked the the old man in the time laps racking up tinnie's🙂 I found my self saying before the video's started oooh its one of tims videos this should be good, and it didn't disappoint.
Thanks mate im glad you like the vids, dad wasnt the only one cracking tinnies just the time-lapse did catch me lol
If there were no errors it wouldn't have been done by a skilled handyman, it looks damn good from my place.
Christ Tim beat yourself up why don't you,, ok the back panel isn't straight but its a pickup and its gonna get beat to hell anyway mate. Cracking result well done to you and dad 👍
I can feel the disappointment in your voice when you reveal the back wall warp, I wonder how they get it so incredibly flat on the professional chops? My only real suggestion would be to either lay a layer of matte/semigloss clear over top of the rear wall only so it’s not as shiny, or even underbody coat in the same colour as the rest of the car. It’ll just look like it’s meant to be heavy duty and not seen with the canopy on. Anyway, entertaining watch, and definitely liking the tray and stacks style 👍
Im not entirely sure how they get them so flat, painting it with matt clear is not a bad idea. Would certainly help to hide the imperfections
Love your videos I think the general tradesmen knock around home Handyman with his dad can relate to your videos. Keep up the good work
Thanks mate appreciate the support 👍
What's your thoughts on the space under the bed between the chassis rails Tim? I wondered if it was gonna be a huge fully enclosed slide out drawer Nice work, that's going to be some machine for camping and cruising a proper head turner for sure
Keen spooting there mate. Yep i will make a sealed enclosure with a big slide out drawer out the back to hold tools and spare parts for longer 4wd trimps
Wow talk about overachieving,,, seriously though Tim that looks bloody amazing mate,, well done!
Thanks mate
