For anyone that’s wondering, this is a 50cc .325 (smaller chain) for $649 vs a 66cc 3/8” that is over $1000 that’s why it’s unfair
@@isaacleachman1358 thanks for reading the title. It is an unfair comparison but was still very close.
I have an older 550xp and a newer 545 mk ii that has been muffler modded and tuned. 20" .325 on both and would have a hard time choosing a winner.
I have an older 550xp i bought used off fb marketplace in fair condition and a 545 mk ii i bought off a friend who builds saws. The 545 is piped and tuned not ported but the pipe really perked her up. I run 20" .325 on both (nk on 550) and enjoy them both. I would have a hard time choosing.
@@ralphveasey7274 me too
I think you need to junk all those saws out and get some husky 3 series saws or echo 4910 and 620p all of which will start better than any of those.
@@davidkrajnik6296 5 series is the way to go.
@@oakeymt.outdoors I have 3 of the 5 series so I am well aware of what it is like to start one.
That first one took more pulls then my radley chainsaw lol it’s only 2 pulls
You took her for a ride right? 😉 we like those in the snow!
@@oakiewoodsman sure did
@@oakeymt.outdoors great! we love those
Didn’t realize you had two frontiers.
@@oakiewoodsman yeah 2 frontier and a titan
@@oakeymt.outdoors awesome man!
I think the 562 and the 2nd 550 started pretty darn good. Great video! I always mess up cause I blip the saw off of fast idle too fast. My new 7310 really needs a moment or two.
@@oakiewoodsman they all done good the 400 took the longest but I knew it would
I hate it when the stack falls over!
@@oakiewoodsman yeah it was aggravating to stack back up
@@oakeymt.outdoors my cats are often the culprit. They always jump up from the same side and end up slowing making it lean more and more. I will tell you what though, your fallen pile was pretty cool looking! They all stoop up on end. I haven't had that happen before.
The rat also had no choice but to eat it .free wild rats are much more reluctant to eat anything new meaning if they have an area where they always find food they will absolutely not eat anything new to them they actually have a phobia of new food 😂 crazy shit.
I have one not pulling fuel. Replaced carb. Fuel line is not torn. Saw has had very little use.
@@laalan4076 have u checked the impulse line
I figured the 500 would do the best since its fuel injection!
@@tedneitzel yeah they all done ok except for the 400. That's because of no primer bulb.
For that extremely high Stihl 500i price tag, chainsaw should be all ready to go out off the box, with no engineering flaws! Echo is better build, and its cheaper price tag, just my opinion...
The 500i is a awesome chainsaw and the stock filter is adequate. Echo chainsaws are built like a tank. I do have a few echo chainsaws. Thanks for watching
I have the 1st generation Ruger American in .308
@@deanhoward4128 I got the 1st Gen Ruger america predator also
Good job getting the critter out. 🤣🤣🤣
That is a nice box for the back of the truck man. Like that a lot.
That is a good thing to buy, the 400.1!
Yeah charger should keep your battery maintained while tractor isn't in use!
@tedneitzel the battery is on it's last leg. This cold weather not helping it none. I'm supposed to get snow this week. How much snow do you have ?
@oakeymt.outdoors It's snowing atm but about a foot I guess. Been snowmobileing alot!
@tedneitzel I'm hoping we get just snow. I don't care for the ice or freezing rain
@@tedneitzelthat sounds fun ted!
@@oakeymt.outdoorsme too! So far we are good and just got some snow. Pretty darn chilly though
My money mostly goes to Christmas for my family, I only sell a few cords. I’ll let you be the lab rat with the new 400.1. I have the 400 C and with a couple mods it’s a great saw. Just like vehicles we must suffer with all the environmental mods on our saws.
@@saltrock9642 The 400c is probably my favorite saw. I just hope Stihl didn't mess up by disconnecting the 362 and 400c . Thanks for watching
@ from what I understand both are discontinued mid 2025. Pro tree service guys are buying them up because they are extremely reliable. May not have the power of the 462 but runs extremely well. The 462 is king.
@@saltrock9642 yeah if I had the money I would buy another 400 and put it up.
😃😃😃
It takes 10 minutes or more for those to settle down and start burning correctly and putting off heat.
I like this method
@@JoseCee9800 yes freezing them in water will make them last longer. Thanks for watching
You got a nice rifle there! I like it a lot!❤
WC number on the tank will tell you how many gallons of propane it takes
Good video. Thanks for conducting this experiment.
I've owned a 362 for 6 or 7 years and run the heck out of it. As an all-around, sort of middle range saw it's terrific. Too bad they're discontinuing...
😂😂😂🤮🤮🤮👎👎
This log is sqirting 😂
Why do you need a weapon? In Germany we don't need weapons in any situation.
What’s the name of the cleaner you used?
@@codywhite6069 it was just dish soap. I find that stronger cleaners will fade the plastic
No fun!
Good review Sir. What bar & chain did you use? Can you please share that info? I’m trying to swap my X-Force bar to an Oregon bar but can’t seem to find one that fits my 545 Mark II.
@@chefbert7 the bar mount size is (k095) . My favorite bar is the Tsunami bar and my favorite chain is a Stihl chain. I am running 18" bar and chain. I know most saws this size comes with a 20" but the 18" just rips on these saws. Thanks for watching
Thanks for this video! I do have a question. What is the brand name of those thicker compressed wipes that you said you liked the best. Want to try to find them to pick some up. TIA
@@chrisstiegman4070 cottonessence
@@oakeymt.outdoors Thank ya, sir!
Google sucks. You are right.
Thank you sir for taking the time and energy to help us.
Good routine, cleaning up the saw immediately!
Its something I have always done. That way i know its ready to go
How log do you think it had been since you last ran the tractor?
@@oakiewoodsman probably a week. It's been weak so I figured it would be dead with the cold weather. I picked up a trickle charger the other day.
Best way to split, right out of whatever ya brought it home in
yes!
DON'T WORK! I Mixed 1/3 Each of Baking Soda, Cornmeal and Sugar to draw them in.. They Eat it Like Candy. Hear one now as I type this.
@@ravenlorans need to add more baking soda
Get Jiffy honey vorn muffin mix. You need to use equal parts such as four tablespoons of baking soda and four tablespoons of muffin mix. Needs to be equal parts. If you add sugar to this, you’re throwing the formula off. Jiffy honey corn muffin box is 79cents where I live.
I’ve had mine a few years now and never had any issues with it. I don’t use it on branches smaller than 1”-1 1/2” in diameter. It’s a great little tool. I use another Ryobi pruner/clipper tool on smaller branches and it works wonders!!
@@djbille4283 I have all Ryobi battery tools. I was disappointed it quit and store didn't have anymore to exchange it with. This is one example out of thousands. Thanks for watching
Nice
Only difference in thickness is .011 thousands of an inch which no one will never be able to tell if ya don't know how to figure that out take the mm divide it in to 25.4 and it will give you the inch measurements 😮
