I have seen Stihl push Husqvarna out of Northern Tool in Chatt. TN. And at the local Lowe's there doesn't seem to be many saws being sold for a few years now. There are some local shops in the area selling pro saws from Husqvarna.
@oakiewoodsman I stopped by today. They almost sold out of everything. I did buy a tune up kit even though it's got the wrong air filter in it. $8.33 couldn't pass that up
When you buy a expensive gas saw at big box store, better hope you never need. Service. Rather pay a little more and buy it from my neighbors down the road. That's why store's had to change there return policy on generators. Used them, took them back.
Our local Ace hardware and Rural king sell stihl, but we also have 3 local stihl dealers. One that's with john deete, one that also sales cub cadet, and one that's a mom and pops hardware store. We only had one husqvarna dealer and his service was bad. He ended up goin out of business. I've certainly got nothin against husqvarna, but I wont buy em here because of lack if warranty service and if I needed anything I'd have to order it.
@ciphercode2298 yeah there's no husqvarna dealers in the county I live in. But we have 2 Stihl dealers. Lowes may be dropping husqvarna because of service. You know it took 10 weeks for me to get the part to fix my 562xp. Going to be interesting to see what happens
@@oakeymt.outdoors my son in law enjoys his echo. I wouldnt mind tryin one now that we have aocal dealer. Fair bit cheaper than stihl or husqvarna and has a great warranty.
@free_electron I like both stihl and husqvarna but I have no dealers in my area so I have to travel to the nearest dealer. I'm not sure Lowes will go with Stihl. Should be hearing something soon if they are.
@TheNutzandBoltz I like Echo but you know what hurts them ? All the resalers. You can go on market place and buy brand new echo saws for half the price
@@oakeymt.outdoors I'm a Stihl guy. My guess is Lowe's will be Echo only. Can't remember if Home D or Lowe's sells Echo. I'm a bit of a snob and support saw shops more than box stores.
@oakeymt.outdoors Completely agree with that with the echos. Have a liquidation/home improvement type store that sells echos from 100-150 less then retail price. Looks like husqvarna might just be with tractor supply and royal king now I know of 1 husqvarna dealer near me and that's in S.C. I don't live there lol it's a 1.5hr drive to get to him. I can count 5 stihl dealers including ace hardware. If husqvarna had a better warranty service then I could see them doing better yet I doubt that... interesting video buddy.
Stihl is in big box stores in my region. Sutherlands is a big place like Menards and HD. Ace and Truvalue are essential small big box stores to me. I am thankful to have Lowe’s in my town but really wish I didn’t have to drive over an hour for HD
@@oakeymt.outdoorsthanks for the heads up. There's a Lowe's about a half hour away from me. I'll have to make a stop in but everything online seems to be full price
Maybe she didn't post any videos even this on her channel, cause if you followed her she lost her dog for a whole week. She posted many times thier would be no videos while she finds whoofy. They just found woofie Monday or Tuesday this week. Shame on you for being disappointed in someone you clearly don't follow. Disapointed on you caling her out.
Shouldn't be buying your saws and mowers at big box stores anyways
Husqvarna probably dropped Lowe's cuz of the idiotic return policy.

I think STIHL will put battery tools in the big box stores 😉

@ nice!
If not mistaken Craftsman are pouland saws which I think pouland is owned by Husqvarna but not sure
At least in my area STIHL will only allow sales of their product if there is a STIHL trained mechanic.
Generally. But the Northern Tool near me closed the service department and still has Stihl. For how long I don't know.

@ciphercode2298 Yeah, Echo has the best warranty in the market. I have a 500p that I use in one of my trucks.
I love my 545xp mkii. Sad Lowe’s won’t be supporting Husqvarna saws or selling any of their products. I’m not a fan of Stihl.

Yeah Stihl is in box stores here in Washington State.
@tedneitzel really which ones ?
@oakeymt.outdoors Just in our little town they recently come into North 40. I know in the city they are in several but not sure of the names.
. Need names

Anyone think ill be able to get a good deal on a rancher 460?
@mikekristin7201 I don't know. Just stopped by Lowes. They didn't have much left. Alot of the husky files and tune up kits was on sale
