I know I’m a little late commenting, but thank you for this build. I tried to come up with the smallest ship you could build without glitches myself, but failed spectacularly. I really appreciate this little Gremlin. Thanks for figuring this all out and showing the build. 👏

3:07 You need to build ships at your Outpost on the landing platform you need to build first. It has much more parts than any ship engineer! For shielded cargo parts you still need to go the Red Mile bloke. LOL noobs making bold and false "smallest possible" statements in their video titles for views. #DunningKruger

The AMC Gremlin is unironically my Dream Car, and this is the perfect ship to share that name! I love it!

Why no glitch? If an engine has a fuel tank inside it and it looks ok it's fine, if not then all small ships will be very similar.

I tried to add a docker to the bottom of the landing bay and I got an error stating that nothing could be lower than the landing bay.

Nice build. Two suggestions, you could maybe use the Vanguard shield which takes up the same spot and theres a little cargo which would fit on the front where that front cap is. I like no glitch builds as well.

Thanks for showing this, your builds are awesome bc they are so compact! I built this ship and the Class A variant. On this build I moved the Shield near the grav drive reactor bay, but it’s definitely my favorite build. Awesome job!!!

I don't see the point of three weapons groups. All you really need is a single bank of Vanguard Autoprojectors. Maybe EM weapons if you want to disable ships.

Methinks that, for functionality and role playing purposes, the cargo hold should be first and closest to the landing bay hatch. Imagine hauling all that cargo back and forth through the mess hall while your crew members are eating and chilling interrupting them!

BTW as it has been previously pointed out to prolific and highly followed Starfield ships reviewer ‘Crimson Flyboy’ for making the exact comment about the wheelchair accessible ramp to that same landing bay - that ramp incline is way too steep for wheelchairs actually. Lol

I have a 26m wide 28m long C class with 8765 base cargo, 100% mobility and a 30ly jump range, 4 crew from the cockpit, with Sarah adding a freebie I also run with Vasco, Sam, Barrett and Omari because if were honest they are the only useful crew. I also trim the habs down to a 3x1 berth for a bed (my and a workshop for the occasional upgrade. I don't make pharmaceuticals or display weapons and this particular min/max C class isn't built for pleasing aesthetics. The only big compromise that I made is reducing the C class shield down to the 1500hp B class, and I guess if you don't like ladders the fact that it is 6 levels tall off the ground (5 internal levels) could be a downside for some. This ship is part of my Tiny Terror build group so is always being messed with and, since I still have 16 mass to play with before any mobility loss, I suspect it will be modified a bit more in the future.

This coolest biggest ship build in this game that I have seen yet, and for some reason it gives Borg vibes from Star Trek.
