Having liked All of your ship builds I now have a ship building challenge for you, if you are up for it? Build a ship specifically designed to most effectively capture ships in space! You decide which class, but probably A or B would the most appropriate. It should have a decent minimum cargo to haul away all of the loot that you capture. It should also have some shielded cargo capabilities, with a multi-frequency scanner, for most of us who can’t sell stolen loot on The Key. Note: I already have a converted Razorleaf for this specific task (looks almost the same, but upgraded to class B, with mission oriented weapon systems including EM, and a neutral companion crew contingent for going after either enemy or friendly ships). This challenge, should you wish to accomplish it, should not be very daunting for a Grand Master Ship Builder the likes of you - the Rocketeer of Starfield! ……you will figure out that capturing and looting ships in space (and planet-side) is way more daunting and fun than just blowing them up - although that is fun also!
@@LastMumzy you may want to start leveling up your EM weapons skill. You will have to research which weapons system brings down shields the fastest so that you can more readily target the engines with your EM weapons in order to board your target vessel. You may want to keep your fave Vanguard Auto Projectors for premium offense/defense as I have. If you don’t wish to have to research all of laser and EM weapons which are best for accomplishing the designated task, then perhaps I could perhaps assist you with some suggestions from my learned expertise? One added bonus from capturing ships is the fast and easy way to make $$ by selling the gear, contraband, and ships that you obtain!
Another great upgrade from an already stellar original build. Did you try placing the crafting hab at the location of the infirmary? It seems more logical to have the crafting stations right there as you first enter your ship - unless of course you and your companion are always returning to your ship wounded. Lol
Yeah, at least one of my longer ships kept getting its landing ramp stuffed in the dirt in smaller landing areas. In one, I had to stoop down to get out. S

So I went in and swapped that infirmary with the workshop and it did work just fine!
