Hey!!! Just here to say that I almost went into a panic when I tried typing in "The Hexenzirkel" and I was unable to find this channel. Really enjoyed all the videos covering "The Will of Honkai" and "The Sea of Quanta".

I have a crack theory that Deshret used the nails throughout his tech because there's a lot of blue crystals in the desert ruins and no abyss. He also either has purple or gold abilities not blue.

Not to be like a downer on the Genshin lore analysts. But. All of the Honkai related games exist as bubble universes on the Imaginary tree so to speak. It is how we have Welt Yang (CEO's self insert) helping this not dead Himeko he discovered and Raiden Mei (confirmed) in HSR and why Genshin is vaguely similar with some correlations and allowed crossover with HI3 (Fischl). So the main old Hoyo games (aka Honkai and its predecessors) are all on like one main branch, Genshin and (maybe ZZZ) are on the other side of the tree. But still on it. Main concepts and ideas will be shared across all games because they're all on the tree. I think its being thought about a bit too hard concerning the Honkai events existing or not in Genshin. They're there. There's several instances in Genshin that sound incredibly similar to the Honkai tests and you can make the argument that the Stellaron disasters on different planets in HSR are Honkai events. Additionally, if its a sea where life begins, that's gonna be the Quanta. There's not much more to it. Its like how the Great Flood irl is found in multiple religions and regions. Not just the Christian Bible. They're referencing the same event.

You can also see the upside down fountain from the upside down ruins in the underground chasm in the book of revealings world. There's a window right next to where you teleport in and there's the same statues and everything. People tried telling me Hoyo was just reusing architecture but I've noticed that there's slightly different motifs on the pillars in Enkanomiya, The Chasm, and Sumeru. So I don't think it was just reused architecture. People can pry that from my cold dead hands.

Nahida is the purest branch of Irminsul that was snapped off so as to not be infected with forbidden knowledge. Which, we know, is this text from Before Sun and Moon. And what poisoned Deshret's mind and created Eleazar. This is all so fascinating and I'm just interested to see how Hoyo will tie it all together.

How can you not understand the concept of knowledge being a forbidden or detrimental thing? We have the obvious reference of Christian original sin. In Buddhism we have the concept of attachment -- a learned belief -- as the root of all suffering. In modern psychology we know that trauma is something that is both learned and self harming, and that dwelling on trauma perpetuates that drama with the human brain treating the recollection of trauma almost identically as experiencing it for the first time. And in physiology we know things like allergic histamine responses are things your body learns that can be harmful or even deadly. Learning the wrong things can lead to wrong responses, wrong takes, wrong actions, suffering, etc. And this is not just metaphor, but real and tangible. Remember that "knowledge" does not necessarily ever equate with "truth."

Su joined the Hexenzerkiel?? 😅 Also, if I unserstood anything from Chenyu Vale is that this fandom has a low reading comprehension ability, and that they LOVE to argue things that are very obvious just not straight up spelled to them, the Chengchang being herb lord, Zhongli being the Golden God ... many things that you'll fight to get accross and that people wouldn't want to beleive until you rub it on their face, as you said it, showcases a huge cultural difference across the fandom . It's refreshing to find a channel such as yours. That being said, ai still do not see the parallel you drew between the sea of qanta and the Primordial sea 😅

The witches of the Hexenzirkel are more terrifying than the actual gods. One of them was the causr of the cataclysm that changed the entirety of Teyvat, imagine what they could do in unison. Truly terrifying.

Since you have a low register voice, would it be possible to up the volume of your audio next time. This was really fascinating to think about but even on upping my hardware volume I had real problems hearing all you said. Also: I recently did Baizhu's story quest and Changsheng admits that when she was found those five herbal masters ago (there are only 5 predecessors depicted in one of those slides), she had forgotten a lot about her past - I agree with other commenters that she must be Herblord.

The mixing on the voice was really low, I normally have my volume at 12 but I had to go to 34 to hear it :) Theres no way the herblord is NOT chang sheng. I'm sure there will be future interactions between Baizhu,chang sheng and fujin as fujin said she wanted to visit liyue. However we may have to wait for next years lantern rite for that to happen :) It's interesting from xianyun's story quest that it almost implies that wild cranes are immortal, well at least the ones that changed like yandai to sentient etc. Theres a lot of dialogue from xianyun that implies that the wild cranes are all xianyun's children, she literally calls them "progeny". Even though xianyun herself says that she's never been an actual mother.

Excellent video again. I thought it was fairly evident that Changsheng was the Herb Lord. I personally suspect that The Second Throne and The Primordial One are mostly powerless after the Archon War and the Sustainer is the only thing keeping order. Why she is silent is going to be a revelation, I think. Keep up the good work!

So Citrinitas = Gold lesser form of Alchemy/Khemia then Rubedo = Alice? I mean if you think about red in Genshin you think Alice/Klee.

What you said at the end of the video gave me an idea. Remember how Celestia punished Egeria for turning the Oceanids into humans? What if Celestia found out about Rhinedottir having created Albedo, a human, and decided to punish her for it (with the destruction of Khaenri’ah being collateral damage of sorts)? Iirc Albedo himself says in his voice lines that he doesn’t remember much of Khaenri’ah because he hadn’t spent much time there. Well yeah, that’s because his “birth” is what triggered the cataclysm

I’d been thinking the twins have to come together in the end as well. Could even be why the abyss twin chose to go down that path so they can join with the ‘light’ twin in the end to birth a new world. My head cannon hasn’t decided whether or not they have to split up again after or if the process does it. Or it could be a metaphor for them having to join forces to destroy/banish the sustainer. I think the sustainer is there to prevent Teyvat from drawing the attention of the Honkai. The ‘arrogation’ of mankind is becoming too advanced and drawing that attention. The twins would make Teyvat lose its protection (firmament) but gain its freedom

I’m still hung up on the “Rhinedottir brought forth monsters”. In one of the Ruin Golems and on one of the monuments in the Temir Mountains, there is text about how Khaenri’ah was fighting the monsters; the former remarking that they were being turned into Hilichurls during the fighting, and the latter commending them from their bravery. We see Khaenri’ah and Rhinedottir being synonymous in terms of plot, but could her actions be a betrayal to the national? As an end to her means…? Too vague to come to any conclusion.

Excellent video as always! I am looking forward to truly seeing the members of the Hexenzirkel. As a funny aside, the potential "relationship " between the siblings gs isn't out of the realm of comfort for me, as I am a huge fan of The Irregular at Magic High School. Miyuki's VA happens to voice my favorite character in Genshin.

I got looking up the Ring Cycle in relation to Genshin just the other day when seeing that the great beast in Flowers for Princess Fischl was named Gesamtkunstwerk, which is a specifically Wagnerian term for this sort of gestalt artistic whole

I am totally convinced that some how. Nicole, Gold, Alice and Barbeloth are connected to the Moon Sisters and the Seelie Ancestor. This only has me more convinced. Also, I think theres a link with Irmin and Surtalogi potentially.

I love your Su avatar! I really appreciate your content. I love HI3, HSR, and Genshin Impact. It is so refreshing to find a theorist who isn’t afraid to look for and theorize on the connections between the games. I’ve seen some bigger Genshin Theorists try to bring up HI3 references only for their viewers to be outraged about it. I don’t get why the majority of the genshin fan base is so hostile towards the possibility that they are very much connected. I’m glad that you are carving out a niche in this area and aren’t intimidated to make the connections. Thank you!
