Rhinedottir is one of those subjects that's been beaten half to death, so I wanted to go over some lesser talked about subjects with regard to her, focusing heavily on the etymology of her name, her connections to Alchemy, and Wagner's ring Cycle Opera.
Wouldn't call this any world shattering info, but a nice recap of some things and me dissecting parts of the info we have about Rhinedottir that I haven't seen brought up all that much. I love your Su avatar! I really appreciate your content. I love HI3, HSR, and Genshin Impact. It is so refreshing to find a theorist who isn’t afraid to look for and theorize on the connections between the games. I’ve seen some bigger Genshin Theorists try to bring up HI3 references only for their viewers to be outraged about it. I don’t get why the majority of the genshin fan base is so hostile towards the possibility that they are very much connected. I’m glad that you are carving out a niche in this area and aren’t intimidated to make the connections. Thank you!
Excellent video as always! I am looking forward to truly seeing the members of the Hexenzirkel. As a funny aside, the potential "relationship " between the siblings gs isn't out of the realm of comfort for me, as I am a huge fan of The Irregular at Magic High School. Miyuki's VA happens to voice my favorite character in Genshin.
I wonder if Naberius was the Archon of Khaenri'ah. If he were erased from Irminsul, everyone would remember Khaenri'ah as having no god at all. Just as the Fatui never had a sixth member, according to everyone's memory. Also, if Pierro refers to Gold as a fool, it might be a compliment. He did name his own crusading group the Fools after all. Maybe, he just means to go against the gods makes one a fool, but he says it with respect.

I got looking up the Ring Cycle in relation to Genshin just the other day when seeing that the great beast in Flowers for Princess Fischl was named Gesamtkunstwerk, which is a specifically Wagnerian term for this sort of gestalt artistic whole
What you said at the end of the video gave me an idea. Remember how Celestia punished Egeria for turning the Oceanids into humans? What if Celestia found out about Rhinedottir having created Albedo, a human, and decided to punish her for it (with the destruction of Khaenri’ah being collateral damage of sorts)? Iirc Albedo himself says in his voice lines that he doesn’t remember much of Khaenri’ah because he hadn’t spent much time there. Well yeah, that’s because his “birth” is what triggered the cataclysm
I’m still hung up on the “Rhinedottir brought forth monsters”. In one of the Ruin Golems and on one of the monuments in the Temir Mountains, there is text about how Khaenri’ah was fighting the monsters; the former remarking that they were being turned into Hilichurls during the fighting, and the latter commending them from their bravery.
We see Khaenri’ah and Rhinedottir being synonymous in terms of plot, but could her actions be a betrayal to the national? As an end to her means…? Too vague to come to any conclusion.
The witches of the Hexenzirkel are more terrifying than the actual gods. One of them was the causr of the cataclysm that changed the entirety of Teyvat, imagine what they could do in unison. Truly terrifying.
I am totally convinced that some how. Nicole, Gold, Alice and Barbeloth are connected to the Moon Sisters and the Seelie Ancestor. This only has me more convinced.
Also, I think theres a link with Irmin and Surtalogi potentially.

I wait her appearance in the game. I know waiting for her playble it's unrealistic kinda, but still ahahs
I don't think she will be playable. Mostly because I think she's going to be the/like the Unknown God.
I’d been thinking the twins have to come together in the end as well. Could even be why the abyss twin chose to go down that path so they can join with the ‘light’ twin in the end to birth a new world. My head cannon hasn’t decided whether or not they have to split up again after or if the process does it. Or it could be a metaphor for them having to join forces to destroy/banish the sustainer. I think the sustainer is there to prevent Teyvat from drawing the attention of the Honkai. The ‘arrogation’ of mankind is becoming too advanced and drawing that attention. The twins would make Teyvat lose its protection (firmament) but gain its freedom

I am honored you think so, Khaenri'ah is kind of my favorite thing in-game. Confession: I have the most merch of Dainsleif out of any other character in my office, and this is why LOL
