What you really want is 2 trinkets. Heart of Wyrmthalak & Darkmoon Card: Maelstrom. These 2 trinkets proc fire & nature damage. With swipe targets each having a chance to proc them both together and often. Plus the spell damage isn't affected by enemy armor the way swipe damage damage is via attack power. These 2 things will make your swipe actually worth it.

I like using Omen of Clarity and meleeing with my team to fish for Omen procs which I spend on a max rank Regrowth. I know it's not the most effective but I just find it to be a little less boring for healing dungeons while leveling. Plays kind of like a Pally. You just run around auto attacking with your melee (works best with a dagger) and cast Regrowth when you get the procs. If you don't get a proc use a downranked Healing Touch or even Rejuv. Using Rejuv instead of HT will allow you to get more auto attacks in to possibly get an Omen proc. I know rng is not really what you want to rely on for healing but it's just something to keep your dungeon runs a little more interesting imo. And you can always stop attacking and cast a HT if someone dips too low before you get a proc.

I it better to start putting points in resto or balance first with a build like moonglow?

the best thing about hunter is even when you are a 13 year old moron who thinks skullforged reaver is a good weapon because its on your back and it glows purple is that you are still right about a lot of the class.

Heart of the Wild spec all the way. Just so much fun to play provided your guild allows you to fully take advantage of what you can do. Although I must say having so many sets of gear will tax your bags a bit.

Mage: I have a frost-bolt it does damage. Ahh ahh also I have blizzard it is like many frost-bolts.

Raptors are just as valid, you can't worry about a pet's performance without being specced in beast mastery, and if you're specced in beast mastery you're gonna have the movement speed talent, which at the very least will make raptors not slow without dash. The difference in dps between the both is stupidly small, to the point where it's not worth it to even push a choice. I can't see myself trying to convince someone to get a cat vs a raptor just because they're gonna kill some mobs 0.6 seconds sooner.

2h slow with wf for when pvp vs spell casters. 1h/shield vs melees. For leveling 1-40 enhan with whatever weapon you have that is best. 1h/shield with wf. 2h with rockbitter. Then at 40 if you have endless money for water or have a mage by you 24/7 ele is the way both for PvP and leveling. If not stick to enhan to 60 and keep an int set for healing dungeons. GZ you are now lvl 60 🎉

pro tip: flying creatures are more annoying in pvp and that is enough to dominate casual players

You said that the brown bear from the human realm was one with the slowest attack speed and that there are "reasons you mentioned earlier" of why should take a pet like that ... But you never mentioned anything on why I should take a slow attacking pet specifally?

There is an easier method to just pull the boss. Feral Instinct is a must and Nature's Reach is also highly recommended and required if you want to solo Knot's Cache. You take care of the bugs like in the video. Get to the ledge in the video with the rock you can jump to. Get rid of the one Warpwood pod next to the ledge for safety. Then go to the ramp and just pull the boss and run back to the ledge and walk down to the rock. Jump back up to the ledge and moonfire the boss at max ran when he gets close and walk down to the rock. The boss then goes down the ramp. I watch my moonfire DOT get to 2/3rds when I jump back up on the ledge and wait to moonfire the boss again and repeat by walking off the ledge to the rock. Rinse and repeat till the boss is dead. You never have to worry about ANY of the hyenas if you do it correctly. If you do the bugs fast enough you never have to worry about the mage patrol. If you take a very long time then you might worry about the mage with hyena pat but then just juggle the boss back a forth at the top and don't let him aggro the pat till it passes. Don't try to let the boss get too close or try to cast Insect Swarm after a moonfire or you risk getting charged by the boss and knocked back and then you will die. You can repeat this multiple times without dying and even get the key to free Knot and get the cache solo. You will die getting the cache but it could be worth it. Dealing with the hyenas at all is way too risky and takes way too long.

Hybrid classes are my favorite, esp shaman druid and paladin. Feels good to help support group in dungeons/raids and be able to play multiple roles. It even feels good to buff random players with mark of the wild... which is such a useful buff while playing or leveling. I mainly played prot warr and enhancement shaman.... shaman is still my favorite class, but also had a feral druid I would slowly level for fun, and twink at brackets like 29 39 49 ect. Druid is great fun in pvp, true hybrid jack of all trades can play any role..... stealth to steal flag or kill enemy fc, powershift to break roots and snares, got heals and hots to help heal when needed and bear form to tank while holding the flag. You can fit any role needed in pve for dungeons too.... emergency tank or heals when needed.... and occasionally CC like sleep for beasts/dragonkin or root melee mobs. Hybrids got a bad rap in vanilla... they get some much needed buffs and class talent design development in layer xpacs like BC or WOTLK..... and by then, Hybrid classes were a blast. Enhance shaman was my main but still loved feral druid for its ability to fill any role, tank in dungeons (or dps or heal if u want) and still amazing for pvp in bgs. Plus new class spells like cyclone were just awesome powerful CC. Battle red was clutch. Travel forms make it much easier to explore, quest, or for gathering professions. Druid is a class everyone should have and play mostly for the experience..... and ignore the haters, druids were designed to be a support role. They won't be top of the pack for dps but still can do good dps if played right... and while not the best tank or healer are still great option for either role when needed. Buffs in bc/wotlk really helped with gear itemization and scaling too. Good luck out there and have fun! Druids are great fun with cool class lore and abilities. Play how you want to play.

I am playing WOTLK classic at the moment, I wanted to add that I am a BM spec and Broken Tooth has only 1.26 speed out of combat.

I just started classic, and literally every guide says pets eat massive amounts of food, and I just disagree. Every time a reroll a char (hardcore) i use less and less food. Feed them once, kill a couple mobs, feed them again, kill a couple mobs, feed one more time and theyre full off the base tough jerky you start with. The jerky has kept them full off one feeding every 10 min or so unless they take a lot of damage. I don't buy more than 5 food for them through level 20 or so, starter jerky is enough
