16 KW Chinese diesel water heater
Переглядів 4,8 тис.6 місяців тому
So here's my current setup utilizing a 16 kw Chinese diesel engine block preheater. This whole idea came about after the -14 degrees lows we were having last winter and the smaller 5kw heater not being able to warm the cabin up fast enough after work. this system is able to warm the place up much faster and is far more convenient with the addition of a smart thermostat which i can switch on an ...

These are kind of toys. Electric engineer told me that if u wan't 24 volts and 250 watts u have to 2 meters long blades and mechanical brake to it when it get too windy. He had one made centrifugal adjustment for blades angle of attack. He calculated blade and wind speed and when wind got too high the blades angle of attack changed according to that with centrifugal force And there were a centrifucal brake too, all made from car brake waste parts.

Good honest review I have the same problem. A glorified toy total rip-off good on you Jameshow many people have waisted money on these I have .when I can’t get solar power I hook up battery charger which is more effective than this rubbish. Very disappointing in the whole product . Claimed to be 500 watts lucky to make 1/2 a watt even in gale force winds

I agree total rubbish very disappointing. I bought a small motor and generator which I can generate 20amps have to use speed controller to slow it down.

Very noisy and a shambolic installation .....but if it saves money . A CH combi boiler has ironed out all the issues but for backyatd engineering and cost saving I can see your hearts in the right place .what with solar and the death trap battery bank this is British man in a shed territory and nothing much to be ashamed of. ...

You forgot the gasket for the burn chamber, without, it may have too much air to fuel mix as mine has a gasket as does all of them from factory. But going by when you did this video you may have discovered this or not. Hmm food for thought Mate Cheers

Hello. Voltage at Maximum Power (Vmpp)= 34.5 V Current at Maximum Power (Impp)= 9.59 A Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) = 40.2 V Short Circuit Current (Isc) = 10.1 A I have 2 monocrystalline solar panels worth 330W... How can you connect these 2 panels to this MPPT 60A solar controller? With serial connection or parallel connection? Because I looked at the device information, it is 12Volt. It says that the highest 80Volt input can be connected for the battery (VOC). (my 12.8v 200Ah I have a LiFePO4 battery) So should I use it only with parallel connection? I was confused and wanted to get precise information... Thanks.

This video save me, my heater was starting to make a lot of noise and it was the bearings, completely toast. I bought a new motor and followed your instructions, working like a charm. It took me 45 minutes taking care of not damaging the fragile centrifugal fan. The black one came easily. My gauge for the centrifugal fan was 0.28mm, for the black fan I pushed it as much as it would allow me without rattling. Good as new.

Forget 400 watts. You're lucky, to get 40 watts out of it. A turbine generator like that would be a better match with a 3 blade rotor with a shallower pitch, so it can run at higher speed, with less torque. You can increase power by allowing a higher voltage, at that highly limited current. A pulse width modulator can be used, to turn the high voltage low current into a voltage suitable for your battery, at a much higher current, than is produced by that turbine. The problem with that 5 blade rotor is, it can never achieve the RPM, and it produces MUCH more torque, than those tiny magnets can ever hope to use.

Started using one of these yesterday. Already not working after using 2400 watts of water pump. Their manual says to use an inverter 3-4x the power requirements of pumps and inductive motors. I thought thats what the 8000 peak power rating was for.

I want to do this on my CDH , but I'm thinking of using a full ceramic bearing . These same size bearings are used in many applications like roller skates, skate boards, luggage wheels , and so on ... There's a rating for these bearings called ABEC . So an ABEC 11 bearing would be a good replacement . Hopefully a full ceramic bearing will make the heater even more quiet .

You seem to have figured out the basic idea pretty well, but you really should keep the time the unit runs while pumping down to an absolute minimum because the stress on the compressor is huge when the suction pressure drops below the normal range and the compressor isn't getting lubrication or cooling without refrigerant flowing since the refrigerant carries the oil and cools the compressor. Also, you really don't want to run the system into a vacuum during pump down. Not only does that put a huge stress on the compressor, but when you disconnect the lines, you suck air (which contain moisture) into the system. Yes, you can suck the air out of the system with a vacuum pump, but the oil left in the lines and indoor coil will absorb the moisture, which can't be removed with a vacuum. Once you disconnect the lines, you need to immediately seal the ends to keep moisture out because the moisture will break down the oil and turn it into acid.
