      I totally understand! Some of these cabin air filters are in difficult places. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee that you had to pull the trim off the passenger side to get to it. But most of the manufacturers say to replace them at 20,000 miles so for many people that headache happens less than once a year. Good luck with the change!

    I have a 926LE at my cottage for the laneway [15 yrs old] and a 624 [20 yrs old] for my deck and a compact 24 at my home [12 yrs old] they all are awesome. I had an old 8 hp ariens [mid 70's] that I retired a few years ago [painfully] as it did a ton of work. I truly think Ariens are the best bang for the buck! If I might...the big orange store sells shelf brackets which are around a foot. You've got the nice 3/4 wall to mount them on, might be a better, more final solution. The brackets are located by the molding and stair treads not in the actual shelving aisle. Not the little light ones either, these are a white enamel heavy bracket, not sure on the current cost, so they may no longer as viable as they once were. Good luck and have fun. =)

      I have used it in slushy snow. It did throw better than the old toro 824 I had, but that probably isn’t a fair comparison because I bought the toro used for $200 and it was a bit of a rust bucket (already 15 years old when I bought it). Unlike this ariens that I also bought used, but it was nearly perfect condition and only 5 years old when I got it. Here's an even better suggestion: use the 40V Ryobi leaf vacuum/mulcher blower, and avoid wasting time and energy blowing leaves all across your lawn. Having a separate blower will make the job more efficient (but add to the initial cost of setup), since converting from vacuum to blower and back is a real pain.

    • @greenhorntenderfoot9261
      @greenhorntenderfoot9261 Місяць тому

      @@richardefriend Thank you for watching and sharing. The vacuum/blower setup is a nice idea. Depending on how many leaves I have, the garden can’t necessarily handle it all and I use a lawn vacuum for that after I move the leaves into a general area. I’ll share a video later on showing how to use the two in combination. As a side note- I ended up going with the 18v simply because the CFM for that unit was 550 and a similarly priced 40v (which I would have needed to also buy a battery and charger for) was 540 CFM. Thanks again for sharing.

    Just got myself a beautiful new Masport 470, Such a pleasure to use and to mow with. I'm learning what I can about mower maintenance so I can service it myself when the time comes. Sounds like a great machine! I made a video response to try to answer your question. I would be a little surprised if you had to remove a metal cage from in front of the air filter, because usually those are in front of the exhaust so you don’t touch a hot exhaust, but there are tons of styles out there! Before removing bolts, I would check out the video I linked below so you can be sure that’s where your air filter is located. I hope the video helps! • @greenhorntenderfoot9261
      @greenhorntenderfoot9261 5 місяців тому

      @@123antknee From what I understand, most octane boosters are not as effective as the base gasoline they are designed to be added to. From what I’ve seen, many of the boosters cost anything from $4.00 per bottle on the low end to 35.00 on the higher end of things. Usually they only treat between 10-20 gallons for a bottle. Additionally, many manufacturers claim they increase the octane by points, which is different than what the (r+m)/2 method calculates it at. It is difficult to determine the exact amount of additive needed to increase from 87 or 89 to 91+ with many of the octane boosters boasting increases of 7 points, roughly equating to an increase of 0.7 on the (r+m)/2 scale. I've never seen this done in my area before. What would you do this for? If it is to try to avoid the "slosh" I don't know if that would work except for 3 directions of the wind. A better solution might be a tesla valve, but seems a little extravagant.

    So is the fat gonna melt off when I cook it. Or do I need to hunt down all the pieces of fat in order to keep it lean. It takes me forever to prepare my chicken. This makes it look way easier.

    I work with Pumpkin a lot. They will last upto 6 months if you wash them with bleach to stop bacteria. Spraying them seems a bit pointless
