The Omega Seamaster 300M Chrono has most of the features of the Rolex Submariner, Daytona, and a Deep Sea combined into one watch. This a bono fide diver's tool watch. If you suddenly decide to start the timer, with the Daytona you may start it too late because you have to unscrew the pushers. Unlike the Daytona, you can operate the chronograph buttons even while under water. The Omega's crystal is domed and coated to minimize light reflections, eliminating the need for a cyclops, whereas the Rolex will reflect and attract Baracudas (and women!) The Omega can time two events simultaneously, one with the chronograph, and one with the Bezel. The fluorescent red hands light up from the sunlight while underwater, reminescent of tachometer hands on sports cars. The blue dial color is superior to black because it blends with carribean seawater and swimming pools. The Omega lums are really good, with lums on the hands as well, but there are no perimeter rings like the Rolex. This Omega is a too thick to slide under dress shirt cuffs. The second side of the folding clasp is there so that you can wear the watch over a wet suit. The bracelet is made in France and the clasp is milled steel which was superior to the stamped steel of the 90's Rolex models. But the bracelet sizing requires hammering out metal pins. 24/07/17.

I would love to have that watch in my collection, although I have a 30mm stainless steel Rone Fifteen with a sub dial with a very nice Les strap that was just as rare.

Watch is very nice ! I just found one few days ago unused at a watchstore in pearl white. I originally wanted to have it in black but wasn’t able to find it. But white is really great too! Its even a bit more classy and looks even better in real daylight. I was pretty impressed. Any ways a real great watch by Longines! Looks amazing

You seem to repeat the claim in several videos that a pocket watch that was working well back when this was made lost or gained 2-3 minutes a day and needed daily adjustment. What do you base this claim upon? Do you have any references? The majority of quality watches made 100 years ago were far more accurate than you claim when in good working order. To gain or lose 2-3 minutes daily would be a sign of a damaged watch or one urgently in need of a service. Making such claims really casts doubt upon the other claims that you make. (I am a watchmaker who specialises in antique and vintage pieces)

This watch acts as both regular watch as well as stopwatch. The sub second hand moves for working as regular watch and centre second hand moves for working as stopwatch.

What a beautiful watch l of the best omega ever made

First you fully wind the watch then you set the time otherwise you can end up being 1 or 2 minutes wrong before the watch starts ticking. Never set time then wind watch.

Rolex is just a name, nothing more, except perhaps a piece of sustained effective marketing. Really, what you have is a Revue Thommen 15 jewel Swiss movement, in a Dennison case, made in Birmingham, England. Rolex were just the marketers, wholesalers really. I have a watch with an identical, though of superior quality, Revue Thommen movement with 17 jewels (all mounted in screw settings), in a Dennison case, which is worth a fraction of the watch illustrated. This is because the name on my watch is ''Bravingtons Renown', not 'Rolex', and because people will pay for a name, an empty trade mark, that has nothing to do with either the watch movement or the case. People are strange, and rather illogical.

If there is any member of the species that could not figure this out, they probably couldn't tell time anyway. You could do an instructional video about food chewing or eye blinking for the more traditional millennial.

I inherited the exact same watch it says 0750 18k on the outside of the back plate. Do you have the watch restored? Mine is not as polished as yours.
