Today we’ll be tasting High West’s A Midwinter Night’s Dram 2023 Act 11 Scene 10. It has an ABV of 49.3%, and a proof of 98.6%. This bottle has quite the buzz surrounding it as a must try whiskey. There’s some lore that it used to be better with more non-high west whiskey in the blend but in this day and age, this is a familiar sentiment around many of our favourite brands. Perhaps whiskey is just getting dull to some who’ve overdone it. But since there was a buzz around it, I tried it out, loved it, and despite the steep price tag I wanted to get my hands on it.
