I think most of the criticisms with the money aspect/battle pass/and mobile gaminess are true, Execpt when you talk about unlocking characters not locked by the battle pass which are not as bad as you say. But Aran Tal being locked behind a pay wall fucking sucks because team comps do matter. It feels like you undermine the gameplay and characters a little to much, like calling grozz a Rein clone and saying most of the other characters are just like that, clones (Though I agree Diago is really close to widomaker I agree). But my main thing is you saying team comp doesn't matter, it kinda really does especially in ranked games. Picking the wrong team comp can destroy your chances of winning, if your team is slow fighting a mobile team with Charr as a tank FUCKING SUCKS.

I have kind of a weak pc so I can only play in my room on my monitor. If I try to watch a classic tv show in the room and try to access the room with my Quest 2 headset...it chops and stutters so bad. It works ok in my headset just as long as I'm not watching something. Soon I'll get a better system to use it like it should be used. I love it just the same. I did notice that the bedroom door looks too small in the headset though.

The look of the room is actually cool and the interaction with objects. I’ve done this a lot before with several different things but the VR rooms were not customizable and I couldn’t have more than one game going so this is better than what I’m used to

Lmao how funny, I drove myself crazy trying to find why my D drive was filled today, turned out i had duplicated my PS2 roms in emuVR. Had like 400 GB of nostalgia in one folder.

When you got in trouble and was sent to your room was the greatest thing for me as a kid ;-) Maybe now as a 38yo married man with kids this is the next best thing!

1:15 That's not a good comparison. Shadows of the Empire was a massive multimedia project made by Lucas Arts itself to try and push the special editions of the OG trilogy when they came out in 97. It was, for all intents and purposes, meant to be a canon fill between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

I still play mine N64 copy!! It’s can be a chore with that controller but god is it fun!

My only complaint with the producers of these games is that from the third onwards they tried to stick ground combat in the games... They didn't understand that what we like about these games are the ships... and only the ships!! I don't want to use a lightsaber... I don't want to shoot a pistol... I want to destroy ships with other ships!!

Fun fact about Shadows of the Empire: It’s not JUST a game. It was a multimedia project that Lucasfilm funded in 1996 to prime fans for interest in the upcoming Special Editions in 1997 and they did it between episode V and VI intended to be an official bridge between the two, with the funding of a movie’s marketing and multimedia campaign, while being everything except a movie. It’s books, the game, and various other things telling the same story. So yea Shadows of the Empire is an exception because it was supported and funded directly by them at the time
