I just purchased this new but open box for $700 since I am on a budget. I want to start photography of Japanese gardens and UA-cam videos of Pokemon pack openings. Watching this video makes me feel this camera is good enough for that but only thing that is a downer for me is that I wished the screen could rotate. Thank you for the video!

Hey guys I currently own the Mavic Air 1 and I am able to change it to Mini 3 basically for free. I really enjoy flying the Air, it was and still is my first drone. Should I switch? Only obvious con is that I have the whole combo set of Air and I'd be getting the basic set Od Mini 3. Any thoughts?

I get that this video is 9 months old. But it's still 2024 hehe. I still rock this camera. aF is just simply amazing still for 2024. I will say if you're about to buy this camera now, it's better to invest in a7-4 body in used market now that the price is pretty decent now.... Imo.

I’m a headshot and portrait photographer in Los Angeles who currently shoots on the Fuji XT5 and the X100V. While I love Fuji, the autofocus is INCREDIBLY frustrating (and hot worse last firmware, a known problem). I shoot headshots and portraits for actors and corporate professionals, branding photos, and an occasional family session. I value speed and light weight and affordability. I’m 53, trained on film (Nikons) and I’ve shot every system from Canon to Olympus, Leica to Nikon. Fuji has my heart but I’ve grown very tired of losing a bunch of my shots due to missed eye autofocus, especially since these are paid shoots. Luckily, I’ve been able to up my hit rate to close to 90% using manual focus or carefully selecting my focus point. But this is time consuming and aggravating. And since I’m a working portrait photographer, time is money. I like to work fast. I’m seriously considering jumping into Sony. I value light weight (bad back), fast and accurate autofocus, affordability and reliability. I went to my local camera store yesterday and tried a bunch of Cameras, from the Nikon Zf to the Canon R5 to the Sony A7’s and of course, the A6700. Of all the cameras I tried, the A6700 left me the most impressed. The autofocus is INCREDIBLE, the grip is fantastic, the fit and feel and build quality are amazing for the price and it was even lighter than my X100V. I liked it better than any other camera I tried. Including the A7C, etc. I do not need nor care for full frame. Too expensive, too heavy, been there, done that. I used to shoot 5D’s and D750’s. I work light as possible now. Would you recommend the A6700 for portraits and headshots? About 75% of my work is natural light, some studio work with strobes and modifiers. I’m a professional but APS-C is fine for me. My APS-C work has been published in magazines. Full frame is cool but as I said, too heavy and expensive and I don’t need it for what I do. My only worries are one card slot (I never do events, so not much of a worry, and if I did I’d just get two A6700’s). Other concern is the EVF, while good, isn’t as stellar as my XT5 but it’s totally fine. I may just shoot with my reading glasses using the LCD! Lol. The EVF is as good as my X100, and I like that’s its rangefinder style. I’ve shot plenty of Leica and other rangefinders. No problem. Actually, I prefer it. Any thoughts or advice on A6700? My Fujis pay part of my rent so I need a tiny camera that will help me crush my portraits and never look back. If I get it, I’ll likely sell my XT5 and lenses, keep my X100V and get some primes like the Sigma 56, 30, 23. That will match what I currently have in terms of glass ranges. Or sell the X100V and have the best of both worlds, but lose my favorite camera (X100 is my soul).

For those cinematic color filters or shots, couldn't someone shoot video with this drone, then bring it into final cut pro and add cinematic filters for a finished product? At least that's what I'm trying to do with it.

I've used nearly everything. Shot Fujifilm for many years and because of how they messed up the XT5 firmware, I went back to 3 A7RIII bodies. I love the camera, particularly the AF and the detail and dynamic range. Bulletproof shutter, too.

I hope you accept my point of view I have never regretted anything in my professional life except that I moved to Sony Sony is a trash can Never throw your money away, don't even think about buying any Sony camera, and don't even watch any promotional video comparing it to other cameras, Sony is not a camera at all I am not here to promote a brand or to recommend a camera, I just advise you not to approach Sony camera products at all if you want to start properly. I wish you success in your career

googles N3 comming soon, slo i seen images of a googles2+neo+motion controller kit, also if u buy an AVATA 2 make sure ur aware the RC-N3 DOES NOT WORK WITH AVATA 2, and u ALWAYS NEED THE GOOGLES, it makes the neo better to me

Which camera did you film off of?

Though I usually like your videos, this one doesn't go well. Maybe because I own this cam too - bought back then not now for 10$. You did your best to make it look bad. Video is ridiculous bad for sure, but video was bad with everything back then. It has real zoom lenses of quite good quality. I just recently looked at old pics, a lot shot with this cam and I was surprised how good they looked compared to ones of newer cams. What separates then from e.g. high-end smartphone pics of today is the lack of fake looking HDR processing all non DSLR like cams of today suffer from. It creates honest pics, and if you know what you're doing in normal daylight conditions they can look surprisingly good

Mini 4K though "new" is relatively old DJI tech. If you want a camera drone with decent video quality you should skip both and get Mini 3 instead as long as it's still available. With it's 4K HDR 10 bit sensor it's a big step ahead and on sale costs not so much more than Neo FM combo. It's also one of the quietest drones

The only reason I would buy the 4 pro over the 3 pro would be so I could use the remote for my Neo. Don't understand why DJI can't just stay with one or two remotes for there mini series......
