I try to save teammates when I can. The problem is that certain teams (usa) will run straight into the middle of the map and die before you can even do anything. There is nothing more disappointing than checking the stat board as you're climbing, only to see that half your team is already dead.

If it's not my squad mate, actually on voice coms with me, I no longer bother. Team mates, especially US ones, won't help you when you get stuck saving them. No way. Never again.

Not if you cant turn cuz your engine is gaping for air and cant out speed a mustang in a dive. Sit at 3250 and just out turn anyone above you. Not saying its great you have to rate fight to live, but if they want you they either have to get a lucky long range deflection shot or get in the mud with you.

I once got a 1.2 mile shot (1.931 km) in an A10A on a JA37C viggen, missed a bunch of the first rounds, but you’d be surprised how easy it is to snipe planes in the A10
